This place is like Veggie Grills' less popular, clumsy little sister. The menu is basically comprised of stuff you can get from the vegan frozen section at the grocery store, at twice the cost. The service is fast, but everything else is just unremarkable. It's not terrible, but it's also not great. If you're a vegan / vegetarian and you're in the neighborhood, and you're also SUPER HUNGRY and wanna fill your belly for less than $15, this is the place for you. The fries & burger buns were a really cheap quality, the ranch sauce had the consistency of crunchy peanut butter, and the chipotle sauce was super thick instead of creamy and smooth. If they made a little drive-thru kiosk like Rally's Burgers and focused all of their money on GREAT quality food instead of wasting a big slice of their investment on the retro ambiance in the restaurant, perhaps it would attract more foodies and repeat business. Perhaps this is why there were only 2 other patrons in the restaurant and I had the entire place to myself as I ate my meal.

This Subway has been my go-to spot for a good BMT and Tuna. Yes, we are surrounded by Subway restaurants and they all pretty much taste the same, but the big difference is the staff. The staff at this location is always friendly and they sure make a great sub sandwich. The dining area is always kept clean and well organized. I give the subway 5 stars because of the staff.

I should’ve trusted my gut. There aren’t too many good junky vegan/vegetarian places and this is my least favorite. The Big Zac was plain. The Iconic Fries are going to be hard to forget but for the wrong reasons! I‘m normally not too picky with food but the texture of the sauce and cheese is not pleasant. Thank goodness the raw tacos weren’t bad. They were packed and had good flavor. Most items are a bit overpriced too. If you like fake, refined vegan foods this place is for you. If you would like to enjoy more wholesome vegan food go to Under the Sun.

OMG THIS PLACE HAS MY HEART. Can you imagine getting HEALTHY, BALANCED meals at a fast food joint ?!?! I got a cauliflower bowl and it had greens, grains, fats and veg. It was so delicious, too, I was in love. I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of the sweet potato waffle fries because I inhaled them. The best sweet potatoes I’ve ever had in my life - and I’ve eaten a lot. Highly recommend this place, hope I get the chance to go back!!!

All vegan fast food at affordable prices. They have your classic fast food favorites like cheeseburgers and milkshakes, but also more “healthy” options like salads and pressed juice. Their milkshakes and ice cream are good, super creamy and real ingredients — no fake strawberry syrup here! The flowers are in full bloom right now so stop by and hangout by their waterfall and garden.

Okay if you know, I'm a burger reviewer. I've been wanting to review plant based burgers in LA for some time. I'm super surprised that today I think I almost am convinced plants can taste good as a patty. I got the iconic burger and fries and drink. Pros: Burger was loaded with fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. In fact for a small moment, I forgot it wasn't meat! Wild! The fries are better than In-N-Out and McDonald's. The sodas are awesome, small Selection but refreshing. Cons: small burger. I could have eaten it in two big bites. Price is okay compared to other plant based restaurants, but still needs to be lowered by 3 bucks do to the size of the burger. I really highly recommend a try if you are looking for a plant based burger joint.

Very tasty breakfast sandwiches. Went through the drive through and ordered sausage and egg muffin and sausage and egg croissant sandwiches. They were a bit pricey but the sandwiches tasted good and had a decent amount of egg and sausage. Would go again, very good vegan option.

We've been here a few times. We haven't been disappointed once. A great place for a quick breakfast. They now have a drive in, which makes it even more convenient. We had the muffin and just egg breakfast and the crescent and sausage sandwich. Delicious. Damn cheap too. Too bad they don't have one in the Valley.

Unbelievably good vegan choices and nice staff. I stopped going here back in January 2020 but after another couple recent visits I’m happy to say it’s back on my list. Strong seasonal flavors for shakes and a really amazing flavor to their crispy chicken. My fav; buffalo 66 add bacon and avocado. Iconic fries are great too

This place is completely vegan and it is soo good! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They have pins and t-shirts as well. Also, their special fries (I forgot the name) are just like animal fries from In N Out, and they taste really good.

I came here for breakfast today and i am so happy that i did! The outdoor seating area was pretty; there's a little pond and waterfall. Everything inside and outside was clean. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich. The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The 'chicken' wasn't too greasy, and the maple sauce was delicious! The iced coffee with oat milk was great. I got a small and then went back and ordered a large This is the first good fast food meal I've had since i gave up meat. I just wish there was a location closer to where i live.

I ordered the cheese burger the patty was really good but the buns were kinda cold which kinda ruined the burger… the wait was also pretty long to get the food. We waited about 30 minutes just for our food.

Waited approximately 20 minutes in the drive-through for the messiest, lukewarm burger I’ve ever had. To top it off I got the wrong drink and they provided literally one napkin. No condiments for the fries. For $15 (for one of their cheaper burgers) you’re better off going down the street to Carl’s jr for a beyond burger. Attached is a photo of the sad, cold mess.

Excellent service but to the ownership's responsibility - the food is Not top tier and in my personal opinion not healthy. Patty was Luke warm to cold and I just feel based on other reviews they are likely not teaching how long to leave a veggie patty on the grill (unlike beef it oftentimes isn't turning colors on the stove). The chicken and cheese sandwich is better in taste but both options made my stomach turn. Long Beach has plenty of quick food options for vegans but I don't normally feel sick afterward like with regular fast food however this in my humble opinion is a ken to regular fast food --which I haven't quite had in years. Fries are salty and delicious if you need that quick fix, but I don't recommend the burgers or chicken sandwiches. Very clean place and friendly staff (very thoughtful people working here) but the issue falls to ownership.

Ordered Holy Guacamole Burger and Iconic fries. The Holy Guacamole Burger was small for it’s price but the Iconic fries were really good. Service was fast and no complaints on the ambience.

Not really sure if I'd recommend anyone going to this location. The food is great. I've been to the one in Redlands and San Diego and they are both amazing. Not the case with Long Beach. On MULTIPLE occasions, half of my order is missing and/or there are items missing. Have spoken to managers and nothing changes. They're strict on making sure you're 6 feet away from ordering at the window but not getting orders right 100%. This is during all hours that they operate. I tried to give this place many chances but nothing seems to change. And to top it off there was a hair in my breakfast sandwich last week. The city of Long Beach is a great place with many vegan options. I recommend seeing what else is available in town.

This is the most accurate vegan fast food I've ever had. I've had almost everything on the menu, the wraps and chickn sandwich are my personal favorites. Also, the only place that serves Blueberry Soda. I highly recommend plant power for delicious vegan fast food. They're still figuring out things and are often busy, so be patient and expect at least a 5 minute wait time.

This review has been long overdue! Found Plant Power by chance while in Riverside. We were so happy to find out they had a Long Beach location too! Although I'm coming from South Central L.A., I never mind because they're food is worth it. I love their customer service- always kind and welcoming. Their food is delicious. I've tried various vegan burger joints, but in my heart, Plant Power is #1🥰 I try to get something new here and there but, their tenders are delicious. I highly recommend! My only wish is that they open a location in LA soon but for now, I'll make it a little trip to their LB location. I love you, Plant Power! Sincerely, A lifetime customer

Horrible service and the place wasn't even busy. Good youngsters are hard to find. Clean and fresh though. 24hr takeout or dine-in--that alone deserves the higher rating, despite the apathetic service. Try the new wraps, pure perfection with turkey spinach and bacon with avocado.

I am a regular user of Plant Power in Long Beach. The food is great. You would not believe it is vegan. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Last week I had breakfast there for the first time. The sausage and egg breakfast sandwich was really good and will stand up against any breakfast sandwiches from any other place. Then I had the Breakfast Burrito. This was by far THE BEST Breakfast Burrito that I've ever had. Ever. Even better than the ones I had before becoming vegan. It really was that good. Sadly, we just moved out of the area but every time I am in the area I will go for my breakfast burritos. Even if you are not vegan, you should try one.

Hands down, best vegan burger and shake I’ve ever had. The cheese was better than most vegan cheeses and the buffalo wings were decent. Will definitely check out again next visit to the area.

Finally got to try this place after finding out about it years ago. Everything in this review is gf and vegan. The menu is completely vegan and the gluten free options are labeled. The best way I could describe this place is like a vegan version of in N out and McDonald's mixed together. I ordered the "Big Zac," a vegan equivalent to a big mac, and subbed the regular buns for gluten free ones, the "Iconic Fries" which are like a vegan equivalent of the animal fries from in N out, a pumpkin pie shake, and a root beer float. Note: I went with another person so we split multiple items so we could try multiple things. Even so though I'd say this place is pretty expensive. I reviewed everything I ordered individually below. The Big Zac (with gf buns) - 2.5/5 : I thought i would like this more, but I think the gf buns made it less enjoyable than it would have been. The Iconic Fries - 5/5: My favorite besides the pumpkin pie shake. Delicious and tasted exactly like in N out's animal fries! was so worth it. Pumpkin Pie Shake - 5/5 Arguably one of the best shakes I've ever had period!! I assume this was a seasonal item, but it was amazing and I usually am not a huge fan of pumpkin things. Root Beer Float - 4/5 Pretty good! Hard to give it a 5 after trying the pumpkin shake but it's definitely still worth getting if you like root beer floats. PROS: Huge variety, great flavor, gf options, great packaging, good atmosphere, nice staff CONS: Expensive, not a big fan of their gf buns, buns tasted slightly burnt as well.

1st time visit... Sorry we will not go again. Frys were cold and didn't seem freshly made. I think it call the Big Zac...messy and cold. Chix sandwich was the only one served hot/warm. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly and polite...but I'm there for good food only.

Food is great if you're vegan and miss McDonald's "Big Mac", Jack in the Box's bacon cheeseburger, or In-N-Out's "animal style fries". They're breakfast menu is really good if you can make it there before 11am. Their "Rambler" doesn't quite stack up to Carl's Jr's "Western". Warning: sometimes their receipts won't print with your name, so if you're picking up an order, make sure to ask about your food after 5 min of waiting, because the staff will forget about you if they can't find an order with your name on it! But, that's just how busy they can get.

*** Love the food, just make sure you order from their website. Google pushed me through Postmates and they charged an extra $7.

I used to go to Plant Power in Ocean Beach whenever I was in San Diego. Now that they're in LB, I get to go much more often. They offer a seamless online ordering experience which facilitates quick pickups. Overall, a really delicious place for vegan fast food.

This is one of my favorite locations. The drive thru has an odd layout but it’s pretty fast once you place your order and a big lot to park to eat in your car. The menu is big and new so I think a lot of people are taking time to read the menus and ask questions like I did. Iconic fries were really good recommendation and the shake with cookies and cream. Kai Lee was my attendant and she was very friendly and helpful. New late night vegan craving for sure

So the food I love. The 30 minutes I had to wait this time, not ok. Sat and watched for employees bustling around the kitchen cleaning all an attempt to get off work right at 9 PM. Nobody was paying attention to my food that had been sitting there for quite some time. I even brought this to their attention and they still let it sit.it was FINALLY brought to me, COLD! I asked if they could throw it in the microwave and Gily’s snooty and sarcastic attitude put me over the edge. She was so disrespectful that I will not be coming back here and I come here often. Please let me know when her attitude has been changed because I am completely offended. And on top of it it took another 15 minutes to make the food warm.

I got the Holy Guacamole Burger with a black bean patty and gluten free bun. It is THE BEST vegan burger I've enjoyed so far! The fries and chocolate peppermint shake were scrumptious as well! :) Happy to support a business model that is mostly low waste as well. Will be back! 💛

This subway location is not very visible...if you are on the main road (Beach Blvd). It is located in the same plaza where Garden Grove Sam's Club used to be. I personally love this Subway. Quiet and Friendly. As soon as I walked in, I smelled no bad odors; unlike other Subway locations. I will stop here again.

Surprisingly delicious. Never tried a plant based fast food place before, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I had the fish sandwich and it tasted great. The fries were crispy, golden, and perfectly salted. I had one of my kids chicken nuggets, and they were so good I wanted to go back and get my own. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. And to get those nuggets and fries. The service was great as well. Very friendly and pleasant.

Everything we tried was delicious...like really delicious. The kids didn't know the difference between it and actual meat. The burgers were huge. The servings were big for everything we ordered. The orange dreamsicle shake we ordered was really really good as well! They even have blueberry cola, which our kid was happy about. I would highly recommend!

I've been comin here regularly for the last couple of years. The food is surprisingly flavorful, and you definitely don't feel like you are eating unhealthy fast food. Some of my favorites are the Rambler, and the Handheld Avocado wrap. Their fries are also pretty good. Definitely recommend.

I have been a loyal customer for years! This was my first vegan FAT FOOD place ever! The new lowered PRICES are amazing!! And I've been waiting for the pea protein option for a long time! Today I went to get the buy one get one deal however I haven't been in awhile and didn't realize they went to NO CASH, card only. I was bummed because I drove all the way over here and had cash without bringing my debit card. I thought I would not able to get food but to my SURPRISE the cashier by the name of IRMA gave me the 2 burgers FOR FREE as COMPLIMENTARY deal!!! Rather than walking out empty handed she HONORED the deal even though I didn't have my debit card!! This goes above and beyond the excellence of customer service! I hold so much GRATITUDE for IRMA and her kindness! I honor Plant Power switching to cards only and will make sure I bring my debit card from here on out! Had plant power for the first time yesterday; here’s my honest review. My friends say this place was top notch, better than in n out as a vegan option. They really hyped this place up and I was very excited. Staff is very friendly. Once we took our food back home (2 minute drive) I opened my burger. I asked both my friends if the food is supposed to be this cold. They’ve never had it any warmer than it was. I was disappointed in that. Should’ve heated it up in the microwave, although I was starving. The food? Really great, I won’t deny that. Just wish the food was at warmer and it kind of upset me more than it should have.

The burgers and chicken are delish! The sauces are top notch. You can tell it’s vegan because of the soggy textures, but the flavor is definitely there. My only issue is the milkshake used soy milk which has a very distinct taste and isn’t good for hormones. I would’ve loved it if it was almond, oat, or any other plant based milk. Overall, I’d order again!

My husband and I LOVE Plant Power! Some of our favorites are the buffalo and "chicken" sandwiches (crispy), "chicken" nuggets, side salad with caesar dressing, iconic fries, and shakes. We have yet to try their breakfast menu, but definitely plan to at some point. I only wish this chain were as widespread as the typical options you see at rest stops, as we travel often and would like more vegan options on the road!

I thought the frys are the best even better than the yellow arrow place. The soda was also good better than most places . The burger had a sausage taste and was not bad but I don't expect this burger to replace reel meat burgers anytime soon . Overall I liked my food I wish you a took cash just so your delicious food would be more accessible to everyone . You have a great product at a decent price you shouldn't let trends or politics or the weather dictate who can eat at your restaurant.

I love their chicken sandwiches and fries! The burgers are good overall but it seems like they use an off brand of patty that isn't Beyond or Impossible that has a somewhat weird taste to me. Not enough to where I didn't enjoy the burgers but I believe it would make an amazing difference to change the patty brand.

I ordered a Western Burger Meal with regular fries and lemonade with no Ice. The lemonade tasted as if they added water to it. The fries were cold as if they were sitting for a while. The Western burger is never hot when I order it. I thought maybe because the sauce was cold and is cooling the burger down. I’ve been going to Plant Power since it opened. I have never had any problems before, but lately, the food quality has been declining. $19 for a meal. You guys need to do better. I won’t be going as often anymore.

We had a late-evening, we went there for takeout and ordered a holy moly burger lettuce wrap style. The burger was raw, wasn't even cooked and there was barely any lettuce so in the container it was just the burger, cheese with guacamole and with a tomato slice. We asked for the fries to have no salt and they gave it to us all salty, that when we got home we had to take time to wipe off each individual fry which no longer made it an enjoyable meal. We had bought the sauces and they didn't give us the right quantity. We had heard good things from other people regarding this place but unfortunately it fell very short from our expectations. If I can make better food at home then a restaurant doesn't have qualifications for stars. I could have just done this at home and a way better job. This is one of my first disappointing contributions I had to share.. Just a side note, I had such in digestion and pain from eating the raw burger, and I only ate half of it cuz I couldn't take it anymore, the pain kept me up all night and I couldn't even go to work the next day. Part of being vegan is were putting nutrition into our body in creating a healthy body and when you go somewhere that claims that they are supporting health

Was looking for vegetarian food near VA Hospital and this place came up. I got the nuggets, they were small but they did taste good. The sauce was also good. I was thirsty but didn't wanted a healthy option. Green juice was good, a little peppery but it tasted pretty fash.

I love the milk shakes here, and the food is really good too if you are looking for some quick vegan food that's not so healthy. The service is good and I honestly have never eaten here but the inside looks nice as well. As I said the milkshakes are amazing. Definitely try the cookie butter is you haven't.
