This is a very pretty venue. My dear friend had her wedding reception in the indoor ballroom. It had a large bar and big dance floor. There was a large photo booth set up too. The decorations were so beautiful. Definitely a nice spot to celebrate a very special occasion. I like that there is a parking structure and plenty of parking.

Long Beach is lucky to have a great venue like The Grand in its city. They have several rooms that can fit everyones special occasion. We just had a huge Gala there for the Long Beach Restaurant Association that was a huge success. Their staff was so friendly & professional. Great times.

The Grand is really nice walking in. It has like a waterfall wall.I like this place because it has many rooms to choose from whether you want to have a big venue or small they can accommodate you and your guests. We had the big room for my daughter's banquet so it had a nice big area to entertain, then another room to serve the food and a really nice patio area. I gave it a four star because even though they had bathrooms throughout the entire building the room we had the bathrooms were not the best. They were kind of old and I just love a nice clean restroom and it was clean just old and outdated.....

A month ago my aunt and uncle hosted their co-retirement party for family and friends. I had never heard of The Grand so it was going to be a new facility experience for me and a momentous occasion for our family. The 3 story (I think) parking structure is right next to the building with open over-flow parking across the way. The facility sits alone on the north side of the street, a right turn off of Willow, so there's no other traffic to contend with in the complex when you arrive and leave. You cannot turn left into the driveway of The Grand. The area is surrounded by gas stations and fast food places all along Willow and the intersecting streets nearby, and the Long Beach Airport is 5 minutes away. (I only know this because, not being from Long Beach I missed the entrance then turned right at the next light and ended up driving towards the airport, fantastic looking from the outside. I've never been there, either. Funny, it was all there on Google maps but I was not paying attention because I was trying Not to get lost 🤦🏻‍♀️). They booked the Grand Premier Ballroom and it's a huge room with a giant dance floor! There were several other rooms as well but the ballroom is the largest. They invited 200 guests but 244 showed up! The Grand staff worked very Very hard to accommodate with more tables and chairs. The food was excellent, no other way to describe it. I'm still dreaming of the roast beef although dinner entree choices were roast beef, chicken breast, and fish with all the sides you can think of. There was ample room to set out the desserts that the family bought from different places and the staff kept it coming even though there were more guests than was anticipated. The restrooms were 5 star quality, clean and down the hall from the ball room. There was a bar tucked away in the corner adjacent to the buffet style layout of the food. I was so busy hanging out with family that I didn't take any photos, but I've seen the ones already on Google and they're more than adequate. If you're looking for a nice out-of-the-way venue in the city with great staff and clean facilities you've found it in The Grand. I'm wondering what our next big event will be for an excuse to go back! I might have to make one up 😉.

Excellent experience and wonderful customer service! I decided to call The Grand hoping they had availability for my Mom's Celebration of Life (repast lunch) with only a week's notice. To my surprise they had the perfect room available - exactly what I was looking for - AND it fit within our budget. Elizabeth was so kind, sympathetic, and patient throughout the whole process. She was flexible and very accommodating even with last minute changes. She made this whole process easier on us. I wanted a room well lit by natural light that could accommodate 100 people, the Monarch room was beautiful and perfect in every way, allowing us to celebrate my mother's life in a Chic and classy way - just how she was. The food was excellent and they didn't miss a detail in the experience or service. I know Mom was smiling down at her celebration and I'm so thankful and grateful to Elizabeth and her staff for making this difficult time a beautiful experience. I would definitely recommend The Grand and would definitely check here first for my next event.

The facility is clean with readily available parking in an adjacent lot. It offers both indoor ballrooms and an outdoor courtyard. There is a sign on all doors saying face masks are required indoors but there was definitely no enforcement: while all staff wore masks, immediately after we walked in we turned a corner and saw a girl walking down the hall with no mask so go figure. My vaccination status was not checked prior to my entry into this establishment so I doubt her masklessness had to do with confirmed vaccination status.

The Grand was an awesome place for a wedding! Staff was very nice and facility was imacculent!

Very Accommodating Elizabeth is so wonderful to work with. Even though we have a small group, I had to make repeated changes and adjustments, cancel menu tastings, lots of different fussy changes and requests. The staff and venue are amazing and I would highly recommend them. They were so easy to work with, made planning the event so much easier.

A friend of mine had a 100th birthday celebration for her Mother here, and it was wonderful! The staff was very polite, helpful and attentive. Clean and elegant establishment nestled away in Long Beach!👍🏾👍🏾

Man I've lived in Long Beach my whole Life and never been to this place. Let me tell you the staff was wonderful, place was very clean bar was stocked and my experience over all was amazing 🤩🤩 I'd do it again a million times..

The place looks dated as soon as you see the building outside. People who gave rave reviews about this place haven't been to really nice places. The lobby looks old with dated furniture and not maintained well. You can see spider webs on the wall, very dirty air vents, and it badly needs a new paint job. In a nutshell, this place looks like it hasn't gone to any renovation or upkeep since it opened decades ago. Perhaps the rooms are cheap, but definitely not a place I would like to hold my special evet in. Lastly, the parking structure is free, but the upper level is filled with stored cars, boats, and junk cars.

Warning!!!!! 1)Be careful with your gifts!!! A hand full of gift cards disappeared from our gift box. Reached out to Management and there was nothing they can do for us. 2) Sneaky people from other venue events in the same building went into my party and ordered 4 drinks on my tab and walked out. Once again the charge of $50 ish plus tax was my responsibility and Management could not do anything about it. Besides the above, food was great and coordination was right on point.

The employees of that place are very rude and arrogant, very poorly organized, supposedly they gave us 2 hours to decorate the room and they didn't let us in until the party was almost starting. I had never decorated an event under so much stress. Terrible ,never again.

Very comfortable place, different rooms to enjoy your event according to your needs.

Staff was very attentive & courteous. Nice outdoor patio as well & the complementary parking very much a plus. The only snag was the bathrooms, not enough for large groups (450+). Overall a great experience.
