This place is right around the corner from me so I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile now. The food is good but the prices are great! There are so many expensive breakfast spots now that it was nice to see a place with some normal prices. My avocado toast was only $6 and the balsamic glaze was a nice touch. The service was nice and they were super attentive to refilling coffee. The weird thing that happened was as we were being seated, my dad realized he forgot his wallet so he ran back to the car. Once we were taken inside, the hostess realized one person was gone and absolutely refused to seat us. She literally walked us out of the restaurant even when I explained my dad just ran to the car. When we got back outside, he was walking right back up so we turned around against and then were seated. I 1000% understand COVID rules (and I really appreciated that only every other table was seated) and that they only want to seat entire parties, but that was absolutely ridiculous. If he had realized he forgot his wallet after we were seated would we have been walked out again? What if there had been an emergency and one person had to leave? Would we have all been asked to leave at that point. It truly put a sour taste in my mouth, but I will say that the experience after that incident was perfectly pleasant.

1st and most important this place is CASH ONLY!. Luckily I had cash with me and they also have a ATM just in case. We were in the area and were looking for a place to eat breakfast. We parked in the street. I am not sure if they have a parking lot. Service was great, we got seated right away. We ordered huevos rancheros and eggs Benedict, with fruit. Everything was great. We got offered refills. Inwould come here again.

Went here while visiting in Long Beach. Was told to try the chili verde. All I can say is wow, I was not expecting what I got. The chili was spicy, now while I really enjoy spicy food I’d warn that some people may not be able to eat this. Tons of flavor in every bite. If your tired of getting bland food this place will not disappoint.

I've never had an overcooked omelette before. Was bland and I had to put salt on everything. I saw 2 other tables with eggs benedict and they looked really good. I don't recommend any omelets here but try the eggs benedict. Maybe those have flavor? Plenty of coffee refills during our 45 min wait for food.

Had the Belmont burger my mom had the tuna sandwich and as you can see the portions were excellent !

A friend recommend this place. I wasn’t impressed. I tried The Combo and opted for the 4th St. French toast. The fruit was not that fresh, and I didn’t care for the French toast. Maybe I ordered wrong. Service was not that great. I sat at the bar. Some random employee (not the host or my waitress) came and asked how things were and said he’d come back to refill my water. He never did, and no one else did either. They only accept cash, which I was unaware of before showing up. Luckily I had enough cash on me. They have some covered seating outside on the sidewalk. Parking is on the street.

Fantastic experience. Food was delicious, service was amazing, large food portions.

My Husband and I just stopped by here for breakfast on our honeymoon and the food was delicious!! The service was great and speedy! 100% recommend!

My go-to weekend breakfast spot. Good, simple food that gets the job done. Make sure to have cash on hand, otherwise, utilize the ATM machine inside.

This is a great breakfast place in Belmont Heights. The food tastes fresh and good, the variety is guaranteed to satisfy all eaters. The Blueberry pancakes are our favorite, although I have not been disapointed by the scramblers, and the omelettes. This is a cash only place (ATM on premise) with a long wait line during weekends (~20-30 min).

Food was decent but the service was horrible 😞 very long of a wait. They would not accommodate 6 people so we had to separate. Then as we finally got our food they asked my daughter if she could move to accommodate a party of 12. I’m disappointed in their service and will never return. Do not recommend at all.

Ate here on a Friday morning. Had banana nut pancakes, a side of bacon and earl grey tea. Other patron had french toast with substitute links. Service was friendly. Cute place. Food was just OK to us. That's butter not whip cream on top of the bananas. $38 for decent portions.

When you walk in, you're Welcomed by a friendly smile & seated right away. The busser, David, & the one that checks on you on a reg is always there when you need something. Cameron was kind enough to give recommendations from the menu & the waitress Brianna is the Best with a friendly smile to boot. I Love this place!! The food was Amazing!! The banana walnut pancake was Delicious & so was the thick sliced bacon. Eggs were cooked Perfect! They even had "Butter Pecan" coffee in a decent size coffee cup! The Only place that I know that serves squaw bread. This place is my new "Go To" for breakfast 😋 😍

Great place to grab some healthy breakfast! Came here on a Sunday, wait time was about 20min and we’re sat at the bar stools, food took about another 20min and enjoyed the food! Overall great experience will return again! Recommend the French toast combo!

My favorite place for brunch. I usually get the Egg and Beacon Sandwich but add avocado if it is closer to lunch. Or a good go to his the French toast or Pancakes Combo with Eggs and choice of meat. Lately I've been working my way through the Scrambles . A real pleasure is the Chorizo Omelette which is undefeated in winning over my friends who are experts in Mexican food. Everything is good so you can't get a bad dish. Ironically I am not crazy about the coffee but the food is great 👍🏿 Enjoy!

I've been coming to this place for at least 10 years! Love the Hank's chile verde breakfast. Their coffee is great, not a 5 star because they don't take reservations or cards and I wasn't impressed with their chilaquiles special on this last visit.

Lucked out and got there when there was not a wait!! Staff was very nice and friendly. Coffee was good, which I needed disparately!! Had the ABC Omelet, and it was packed with bacon, and very tasty!! My friend had the spicy chicken verde omelet and it was VERY SPICY!! One tiny bite was all I could handle! They only take cash payments, but do have an ATM, so that works. Worth another trip for sure.

I LOVE THIS CAFE!!! First off the service is fantastic and quick, the people there are extremely nice. They have tables outside (both sun and shade). Food wise, you cannot go wrong with your order, usually I have 1-2 favorites at a restaurant, but I cannot stop trying new things. The Huevos Rancheros have been my fave so far because of childhood nostalgia, but I mean the eggs benedict are truly delicious, the chile verde was also god damn delicious, and the baja burrito SLAPPED! AND THE POTATOES GOD don't get me started I go here pretty often as you might be able to tell and it just brightens my mornings.

My review is too long to post twice if you want the full story I posted it on Yelp. But overall food is ok, pancakes are spicy because of the overly used cinnamon. Was very badly overcharged. I am visually impaired and my gosh was I discriminated and very rudely served by Amber the manager. I hope the owner reaches out to me because this is unacceptable. I had to keep explaining to the manager that I cannot see. She had a very bad attitude towards me and my family. I will not be going back just to get verbally attacked again. Everyone else was very nice to our table but for some reason she had an attitude towards our table.

My brother recommended this place to me since I'm in town from Boston and I really enjoy the egg Benedict serve with potatoes. The egg Benedict was cooked right and the holiday sauce on it was perfect.

Food was great. Service was fine...however it seemed like the wait staff was not happy we were there and couldn't wait for us to leave. We were a party of four and another co-worker joined us about 15 minutes later and they were not happy about that. I could see if they were packed and needed the booth but they were not that busy. You would think they would be grateful that we were there since there was no parking lot and it was street sweeping day and there was no place for us to park! They should be grateful they had customers. I almost suggested that we go somewhere else!

Awesome selection. There is something for everyone. Almost like home. Super fast service. Awesome waiters.

Enjoyed our breakfast! Kids were super happy when their pancakes showed up as Mickey and Minnie. Friendly staff, good food.
