Came here with my roommate for the AYCE sushi deal and overall it was pretty good. Food came out rather quickly and had a pretty busy atmosphere. I will say most of the fried appetizers were fried sort of to death but the sushi, udon, etc was all pretty solid. It was a bit chaotic inside- the woman taking our orders seemed incredibly stressed and rushed and the guy who I’m guessing owns the place was friendly and walking around to tables having beer with them which was cool but our server seemed pretty unhappy. Maybe next time we’ll try lunch and see if it’s a little less busy? Who knows.

****NO MORE ALL YOU CAN EAT/AYCE EFFECTIVE 10/3/22**** We had the all you can eat and it was amazing. Unfortunately that is going away due to high costs. Which is understandable. The fish they use isn't garbage dog food grade fish like a lot of other AYCE places use. We'd still go even without all you can eat though!

Lucia the server had too much attitude and she wanted to charge $15.00 for rice left over from salmon sushi. She later saw 3 pieces of tail shrimp and she just threw on the table and said you need to eat this.

Our go to favorite for fresh sashimi. This place gets busy after 4pm on the weekends and definitely worth it. Presentation is wonderful. Big pieces of fish and very tasty. It's always so satisfying.

This is an updated review. Now the prices are $36/person. They didn't update their pricing on their own website. Ya ya, inflation. All prices are high. Labor is high, bad for everybody because when prices are higher, we expect a standard of service. This didn't happen tonight. Our server forgets what we ordered, got charged twice on beer when I only had one and that's after she forgotten it until I reminded her half way through dinner. The food is about the same, the premium stuff are great! 1/person. They didn't have chili edamame and never told us after we ordered it and expected it and never showed. Then they checked and said it's coming, then the next server said they never had it, they ran out. Lots of confusion, that's fine but the attitude that they have, no sorry on anything. We go to the ayce sushi a lot, this place has gone down in service and quality.

Came with a large party of 11 to celebrate my Bday! Couldn’t have had a better time! “KC” our server was a great! Always making sure everything was ok. The Manager was a excellent host and helped making our time there more enjoyable(thank you for the soju!) the entire waiting staff made sure our table was as clear of any unnecessary plates . The chefs do a excellent job at what they do, all the rolls looked great for such a massive order ! Will definitely return in the future and Would recommend

Great sushi at reasonable prices for all you can eat. All of the seafood is fresh and tastes great. Go early for dinner since they have the last seating at 8:30pm and a 2-hour maximum time.

My partner and I come here as much as our paychecks allows us to. Because for $70~ the quality is amazing and worth the price. The wait staff is always so nice and on point, they check in on us just enough to where we feel like we’re taken care of but not being bothered. This place is sooooo good. Highly recommend.

Took my son to eat before christmas, last plate had a small hair in it. They charged me for left over too! Horrible food and service.

This sushi place is was delicious! Our sushi rolls were 50% off. I love their shishito peppers! They are so juicy and tasty, i highly recommend that side item. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I came in with extremely high expectations to only be disappointed. Although I liked the fact that they had more variety in terms of their sides, they were definitely lackluster. The nigiri or poke styled fish was good but it didn't make up for how everything else was lacking, whether it was flavor or freshness. The fish bowl was also disappointing since it tasted like canned juice mixed with alcohol. Maybe I came on an off day? I'd probably revisit this place down the line.

I'm no sushi connoisseur but I liked this place. Service was friendly, rolls came out pretty quickly after our order was picked-up. Only criticism is I would have liked an even wider choice of premium rolls - but there is still plenty to choose from. Will visit again.

Decent sushi for a good price. The fish was fresh, but had a limited selection of sashimi. Lots of rolls, if you like them. Very approachable for a sushi place and good for beginners. If you're with a family, this is a good introduction to start the kiddos on some of the basics. Lots of California roll variations.

Food was good but it took a long time for my last few dishes. Ama Ebi, the bodies of the shrimps came 30-40 minutes before the heads. The waitress was very nice gal. The oysters were not that tasty, actually I should say, tasteless. 4.5 stars is over rated. Aburi Long Beach deserves 3 star only. I think Aburi can do better in the future visit. Well as the matter of fact I am going to try out the Buena Park soon and give my opinion later.
