What ever happened to this place. I used to live a couple blocks away and frequented their location on Cherry Ave. I happened to be in the area today and feeling nostalgic I decided to enjoy it once more. The staff was not welcoming as I remembered. They provided me a # to place at my table but did not deliver the food. I did notice that there was another table that they did bring the food to. The burger was less than good. The fries were hard and less than appealing. I asked for a refill of my drink and they turned me away stating that was not possible. This place has changed, I would like to have the old Fantastic Burgers back. Which is something that I will not do, that is come back.

Always liked this place. I have very fond memories here, but now coming here is infuriating. The food is Ok, but it doesnt justify the terrible customer service. Bad service once or twice doesnt upset me, but its been the same years. The few times we did complain it fell on deaf ears. I ask to substitute my side of fries to chili cheese fries and it look like a sloppy slap of fried beans with no meat and cheese.

I wanted to give this place a second chance in getting my order correct but sadly they messed up on it Twice .. I had order a hamburger combo with light dressing and extra lettuce on my burger and as you can see on the picture that doesn't look like no light dressing it was dripping in dressing 😒 and didn't add extra lettuce but where quick to charge me 50 cents for it. This workers need to get it together and follow instructions it's not rocket science and from the reviews their known for messing up orders. I won't be coming back here ever again.. And to top it off food is pretty pricey for the amount of attention they pay to make your order.. 👎

Owner was very rude. I was charged twice for an order, even then my order was not ready. Owner stated “you have two orders” but took 15 mins to get order correct. His staff were friendly, but he was not. He stated we cannot throw the food away for the other order when they didn’t have any food ready at all. Came here for years, never coming back.

This restaurant has been in business for ages. The food is decent (better than Norm’s for sure). It has a small family restaurant feeling as staff recognize their regular customers. The servings are generous and still affordable. I recently had the Jr. Burger Combo with cheese, fries, a refillable small coke, and a side of thousand islands for about $9.00. The yellow chilli peppers were free.

Mixed feelings about this place…good food but REALLY EXPENSIVE. Ordered Onion rings and paid and extra $1.32 for a side of ranch. Will probably not come back. Who eats onion rings without ranch…nobody I know. BTW all these fake profiles saying FOOD IS REASONABLY PRICED.....not true. Paid $20 for breakfast with drink and cheeseburger combo almost $16.00. Come on it's fast food! Priced just as much as I hop except no table service.

Terrible customer service. Waiting in line on my lunch break to place an order and they pulled someone from behind me to take payment for an order that was called in even though their food wasn't ready. I'm not sure how the concept of a line is so hard to grasp but the rude cashier's obviously don't grasp the concept.

They have aloy of things on the menu. We've had the burger several times and it's good for a basic burger standard. The price is appropriate. The staff seems to have an attitude when you have menus questions so come knowing what you want. They DO NOT split payment so you will have to do a joint order or split your car.

The customer service was terrible. I was disrespected and overcharge. The food is delicious. I would’ve given a five star, but I’m from Las Vegas and I asked the Hispanic lady what was the most popular item at this place and she couldn’t even answer it she goes to tell me that avocado bacon cheeseburger is the most popular so I order it. I’m going to the parking lot to eat my food and there’s no avocado and no bacon and I don’t know if I need to say this in Spanish English and she thought this was trigonometry. I may be a quiz or test she never passed in high school, but please get to it. This is how you guys ruin stuff and have people not want wanting to come back to your business And she doesn’t wanna work she shouldn’t be working there. She’s taking advantage of the company think she could do what she want. Asked her common sense question if she couldn’t fulfill the order therefore she needs to be at home unemployed shut the whole place down get new employees do something right Then when I complain, she act like it was my fault. I’ll give them a one star don’t even waste your time cause they’re not gonna get your order, right

Excellent burgers! They’re seared so well that they are crispy with excellent proportions. The chilli is very nicely flavored. Fries and onion rings were also perfect. Super crispy. I’ll be stopping here on my way to LA from now on.

The problem with drive thru is that you can never know if all of your order is correct until you get home and are ready to eat. With that said, one of our orders were wrong, if you've ever had this happen it is so frustrating! They did give us a replacement at another date, but it sure was very disappointing the day of!

good food, decent prices, never had any issue with service. Ordering ahead online is very helpful if you're in a hurry.

The wife and I stopped by for lunch. When I was working I would stop there for breakfast. The food is always great and the people working there are nice.

I drove up at the drive tru window seconds before closing. It was my first time visiting. The lady that attended me was really polite, happy and valued my business. She took my order and it was prepared quickly. The food was beyond delicious and I'm looking forward to eating there again but arriving earlier to try other menu items. The cheeseburgers were truly fantastic.

Very clean store and kind staff. But I didn't like food very much. I had a double burger. But I'm tired of it while eating. Maybe the balance of patty and veg is not good for me, too much meat. So maybe I like just a burger or hamburger or avocado burger. Next time I will try them.

The people were so nice and at breakfast I was able to get a cheeseburger meal which by the way WAS Fantastic. 😋 I'm allergic to egg whites so it's hard to find food at breakfast so a burger was awesome. The owner was there working up front and he took my order. My mom is a regular & they all know her so I thought we got extra special treatment, but no that's just how they treat all their customers . When I'm back in California I'm stopping here For food 😋 cause this was the best.

I always loved coming here, but lately I just feel ripped off. Paying $9 for only a sandwich that looks like it should be on the Carl’s Jr. Value menu. The name doesn’t say it all anymore.

Fantastic Burgers is always consistently good. I ordered breakfast, and I got something for lunch. It happened to be the only place that was open that early in the morning... and also serving breakfast, lunch and dinner! That's a big deal, especially for those who are not breakfast people. It was so refreshing to have a good, hearty breakfast and a satisfying cup of coffee! ! Finally, the employees are always cheerful and happy that you stopped in ... I hope to go back soon!

Food was good. I ordered burgers, pork chops, and drinks. The issue here is that the person taking orders (drive-thru) didn't understand my orders. I repeated my order back to her 3 times and still got it wrong. It's kind of frustrated 😠

For a fast food place, it's good. You don't come here for a dining experience. If you want burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast quickly and with a lot of food, here you go. It's clean and the people are nice. It's busy a lot because we know what it's is.

We visit this place every time we come to Long Beach for the Chili cheese Fries, now that we live in New Mexico. Large menu Burgers and so much more. Clean and friendly.

$16.53 for old burnt fries and Pastrami. I guess it depends on the staff because I’ve been there and the food was so good! However, for the past few times I’ve been it’s been nasty!

It's hard to find a place that makes a decent patty melt but they do a phenomenal job. Toasted Rye bread, grilled onions, and a delicious burger make a taste bud melting treat. Thick cut fries with just the right amount of seasoning salt finish it up. Haven't had a bad meal here yet.
