Amazing Lebanese food with high quality ingredients. Even their bread (ordered separately) is so fresh and delicious. I went there with the kids and we all loved it. The service is also excellent with friendly staff and quick service, for a fine dining restaurant. We would definitely come again and order the same food.

New in town w kid working in LB now. First time eating here (for lunch) and loved ALL dishes we tried, which rarely happens because we've eaten many places before and can tell when food was cooked right. We had lamb chops grilled to perfection, tender rotisserie chicken, beef w vermicelli rice, and chicken falafel. All delicious. Lastly try their knafel, it's a unique dessert w cheesy cream in the middle. Service was very good by attentive server named Chase. Excellent enjoyable experience overall 👍 we'll be back!

From the time we arrived, we were greeted with a smile. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The service from Donald was superb! We also liked that all tables were 6' apart and staff wore masks. Everything; I mean everything was tasty! Something to be said about fresh, organic, homemade food; can't wait to go again! Bathrooms on premises. Parking is $2 for two hours, which is down the street and the lot was clean.

Exceeded all expectations. In all honesty- some of the best Levantine food served this side of the U.S.! I’ve been to many Lebanese/Syrian/Arabic restaurants in Lebanon and in the States, but everything about this place, from the ambiance, music, decor, presentation and the quality of the ingredients and the care that is taken when preparing each dish was incredible! My family said “wow” at every dish and we were blown away!!! Absolutely will be coming back again and again!!

We've been several times; that should say something already, before I write a single word. Beautiful place...and the food is even better. Fantastic food and service...and a working owner in the kitchen making sure every dish is to her liking. Spicy roasted chicken is awesome. Labneh and hummus served with fresh made pita is on a whole other level. Gyros, kebabs, kalfta are delicious.

I love this place. This time we had dinner with friends. The service was great, staff courteous and friendly. Food quality, taste and presentation was impeccable. I didn't care much for the desserts, they can use some improvement.

Amazing food, excellent service in a beautiful place. The food is just delicious, the kind of food that makes you think that you were invented to someone’s house. It has the “home-made” flavor. Nothing disappoints. A place like no other.

Seriously the best Mediterranean i have had here in California until now. I always go looking for good hummus and falafel and those were best here. Also ordered the Half rotisserie chicken and it was cooked perfectly!! Definitely going back to this place to try some of their other options from menu. Also try the osmalieh ice cream for some refreshing dessert. The ambience of this place is also amazing. Loved it.

Stopped by for lunch today with my daughter… I am from Jordan and this place was beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the food was super authentic, reminded me of my mom’s cooking (chills). I highly recommend it. I haven’t stopped talking about it to my friends and family. I can’t wait to visit again. It was great meeting you Dima.

We came in for dinner after finishing up a show at Long Beach Convention Center. Street parking is available but somewhat limited. Reservation is recommended. This spot feels like a more sophisticated Mediterranean food place, beautiful interior and outdoor seating is available, too. We arrived at happy hour time, so we were able to get some good deals on the Mezza and entrees. Everything we ordered was very tasty and fresh and the staff was friendly and attentive.

I absolutely love this place! This was a random lunch visit and it def won’t be our last! First off, the servers were very sweet & made some great suggestions! The food was amazing & completely authentic, which I find is rare. The flavors were there from the salad, the rice, the hummus, to the falafels, which the texture of those were perfect! The portions are great, we had some left over for later. The decor in this space is very beautiful & warm. I look forward to trying the brunch & dinner menus!

I'm so glad I found this place! The 6 ways mezza was absolutely delicious! That pita bread and the dips were soooo good! Customer service was great as well. I didn't get to try their chicken wrap which I heard was delicious so I'll probably get that next time. The chicken rolls and Moussaka were good too. Also hope to try a dessert next time.

Michael D led service for our big 19 person party lunch at 1:15pm on a Sunday. It was a lot of people in a busy space and we had a lovely time. Food was delicious, served fresh and quickly. Paced appropriately with a great date birthday cake. One party member called it an “Epicurean Delight”. All the staff that served us were kind and quick to solve problems or clear plates. *this review only applies for waitstaff day of and not event coordinator staff who engaged with us prior to the event. If I was writing a review for them, this would not be that positive. Engage with caution. Would absolutely come here again as a party of 2-4 and confident I’d have a decadent time.

Came as a group of 20. We were separated into a big and mid-sized table. DTLB area with a public parking structure one block away, which was quite convenient. There was also street parking available but they got packed soon. Our server was nice and friendly. Explained what we were eating. The lemonade was refreshing, not sweet, and refreshing with the hint of cucumber. Our group loved the hummus, and baked potato. The Jibne Manoushe was soft with the creamy cheese, perfect with the pickled olives. The family mashawi feast came with 6 kebabs, grilled veggies, vermicelli rice, and the salad (We chose the Greek salad, which was also refreshing, well-seasoned with a good balance). We had shrimp with an additional charge but totally worth it! They were juicy with a good texture. The meat was well-seasoned and tender, as well. We all loved their home-baked pita! Overall, it was an excellent experience. The place was good for group gatherings.

The food is absolutely delicious. Authentic Mediterranean dishes that will tantalize your taste buds and bring joy to your soul! I am from Michigan and every time I come to the area, it’s the first place I want to go. The staff are absolutely fantastic. My favorite is Lily. Super kind and sweet, and very accommodating and helpful. The ambience is a vibe on its own. A beautifully decorated space with comfortable seating and aesthetically appealing surroundings.

We went to Ammatoli to celebrate a special event. Because there was a party of six, they charged us a 20% gratuity, which was okay since the service was very good. They seated us outside on the patio next to a heater. We started in the bar where we had drinks. The bartender was very friendly and helpful in helping me choose a very good glass of wine. They seated us before the final member arrived and they didn't rush us to order but checked back with us while we waited. I ordered the lamb chops, which were cooked perfectly: tender and juicy. But the start of that meal was the rice. It was WONDERFUL. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. We ordered desserts and Turkish coffee.

I’ve been here several times and tried several food on their menu. This place has great decor and ambiance, very clean, great vibes and authenticity representing the levant. The chef is very friendly and talented, I love all her dishes! The service is great, except for couple times with the same server who is not friendly nor attentive to our needs, other than that the service is impeccable as everyone is welcoming and friendly. I consider this place pricy and thus appropriate for special occasions. Also please expect a long wait or to sit outside if you don’t have a reservation. I think they can improve the reservation system and also allow for more walk-ins to be seated inside. However, the wait and pricing is definitely worth it and I highly recommend this place.

First time trying this place and the recommendation was delicious. I was told everything was made in house. Plates are generous portions. The appearance & vibe of the restaurant was bright & opened. I sat inside, but there’s outside seating.

This mediterranean restaurant came highly recommended and it was alright, definitely nothing special but if you are after the basic flavors of some kebabs and rice, this is a good place. But it didn't impress in service or quality.

Delectable & delicious food. Ammatoli Mediterranean Bites was such a exquisite & delightful experience. We sat outside in the relaxing but very hospitable patio. We had red lentil soup with crunchies & this combination was perfectly scrumptious. We also had the spicy tangy hot potato wedges-/ these tangy grilled potatoes were deliciously made with the perfect blend of chili paste .. The spicy hummus & flavorful falafel surrounded by green olives, pickled turnips & sour pickles. Servers were were so personable & very accommodating. Please spread the love & like.

In short, I was hesitant at first because the place looked like a modern iteration for Levantine fair and mostly Lebanese, which usually I harshly critique, but I was pleasantly surprised that most flavors were on point A bit more details, The mezza was great. From the grape leaves falafels to kibbe and spicy potatoes. Freekeh reminded me of home and up in the villages. All the food was really good. The Arayes were nice and filled with meaty flavors. I loved that they had some of the best Lebanese wine brands as well. Loved all the flavors. Maybe the one dish I was not into too much and wish I got the Moussaka instead was the Chicken Rolls. Was a bit dry. The Arabic coffee (Not Turkish - Turkish doesn’t have Cardamom in it) needed a bit more boiling but it was good and they serve it in an authentic set. The music was so nice and authentic. Created a nice vibe and made me feel at home. Service was great. I heard they are expanding so that’ll be great because this is a great restaurant. I hope they add another bathroom bec one for our group only created a bit of a wait but no big deal.

What a great time we had at Ammatoli when we went for dinner. The food is really delicious. All the plates that we ate were above par. We would definitely go back. They are enlarging the restaurant to accommodate more satisfied diners. We highly recommend you to go try this restaurant.

Just came in for lunch…wow!! The decor is beautiful, the service was perfect (Donald was so friendly and recommended the perfect items for us!), and the food was fresh and delicious. We were on a first-of-the-year diet, but still managed to fit in some great options. Highly recommend it!!

Amazing experience! The staff were all so lovely, and the food was SO good. Would highly recommend pairing it with the red Lebanese wine (which my server Lily recommended). Thanks for an amazing experience!

Loved this place and loved everything I tried. I highly recommend it. Went with some friends for brunch. My favorite was the cauli roasted beet-labne toast not only was it very tasty but it was beautifully plated. I also tried the Jibne manoushe and the Ammatoli's Hola beef shawarma and both were so good. The desert Knafeh (with cheese) was an excellent end to our meal. I'll definitely go back, there were alot of other things on the menu I wanted to try ☺️

Fantastic food, would have been a 5 star review accept the chicken, supposedly the best thing on the dish was dry as cardboard! Thank goodness the spicy sauce was good for dipping it in. The upgrade to the homemade bread is worth every penny. Beer, eating outside, fresh bread with spicy hummus would be heaven.

The gyro meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked! The fries were also seasoned well and crispy. I also was surprised by the grape leaves. I also appreciated the non-alcoholic wine and beer options. Only down fall is the homeless people walk by and beg for money if you sit out on the patio.

My wife wanted to give this restaurant a try so here is our honest review. Start with 3 Mezza appetizers fried kibbeh, Motabal and Beet Hummus, 1 Tabboleh, 1 Mashawi mix and a desert. The Tabboleh needs to be extremely fine chopped i would never order a tabboleh again, Motabal tasted nothing like Motabal, the Mashawi mix 3 skewers out 4 were eatable the fourth one was bad quality meet or they just didn’t care to clean it from the tendons when i pay $42 for a Mashawi Mix i expect clean meet! Portion is very small and definitely not enough for two. Total bill was $103! what a waste of me driving from Laguna Hills to Long Beach. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food presentation is nice, but it is way overpriced for the quality! Never going back..

I’ve been to this restaurant several times now and always try to order a new dish because everything looks and sounds delicious. The service is always wonderful and every person I’ve taken to this restaurant is impressed. This time we ended our meal with Turkish coffee and dessert. The moussaka is incredible and make sure you order the fresh pita. I think this restaurant is perfect for a fun dinner with a great ambiance or date night.
