What a great place for a family dinner! Healthy, delicious, authentic dishes cooked to perfection. We tried it all meats and vegetables. Wow, flavorful delight. Can I also mention the wine selection? Healthy fresh food with good service. This restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and out quick. The food is priced well for how much you receive and they have a rewards program.

Honestly, I know that pricess has gone up everywhere, on everything! But for $12, it just wasn't worth it. I got the (chicken shwarma wrap.) I was the only customer in there, and I still waited awhile for my food. I've definitely had better.

Came here for a friends bday dinner. The restaurant had a private room for us to dine in and have a gift table etc. The service was fantastic and they were very attentive, but also gave us space and time to ourselves. The food was plentiful and delicious! The environment was very elegant and nice. It was a great location for a large party and it felt very homey. I got the lamb kabob and it was super tender and yummy. I would love to come back and try more items! I highly recommend this restaurant and supporting this small business!

This is our first time here since the Management/Ownership change. I like the decor change and update. Looks brighter inside. However with the COVID dining restrictions we were only able to enjoy the outdoor patio which what we prefer anyway. Our server, Dietrich was friendly and welcoming and got us seated right away. The tables are spread out and we were the only one when we arrived. To start, we ordered the Hummus with Beef Shawarwa and Baba Ghanouj. The Hummus was outstanding, fresh with perfectly flavored beef. Baba Ghanouj was very creamy, really balance flavor. A+! For the main course, I ordered the Taboon Mix Grill and substituted the hummus with Tabouleh Salad. Grilled to perfection and seasoned well. Chicken was moist, beef very tender and juicy and kefta was delicious. The portion is huge, good enough to share for two people. My friend, ordered the Salmom Plate. The salmon was a huge portion, seasoned and grilled perfectly. Wonderful first time experience. Dietrich was attentive and accommodating. Of course we ended taking half of the plate and saved for later on. Definitely worth what we paid for. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back for more.

Wow! The food is that delicious !!! 🤩 Everything you will order here will be delicious I had the veggie entree - the chef brings out the flavor of each vegetable and it’s cooked to perfection. The hummus is spot on- perfect. The rice is delicious in flavor and fluffy. The chicken skewers are moist! & tender and charred on the outside it’s bursting in flavor. The service is good, really friendly and attentive staff! Thank you for the delicious experience

Just wasn’t very good. Ask if the stood up Open Sesame in Belmont Shore. This place doesn't even touch Open Sesame Wont be returning. Bummer too cause its way closer to us. But will remain on taking drive to B. This is an edit from the dumb managers responce to first review. I ordered 3 kabob wraps and kabob entree. The wraps were horrible wrapped in a tortilla. Didn't know that tortillas were Mediterranean. Would think wrap from here would be in pita bread. Like open sesame Seemed like chicken was microwaved. Had bad taste to it. It tastes like poop. Also made both of our stomachs feel bad. We ordered 3 wraps hopping take for lunch next day. But we were so discussed last night we ended up doing something different for lunch. I included a pic of 2 wraps bot eaten. Hope this is more real for you. The simple facts are you do not have nearly the quality of food as Open Sesame and obviously know now its ran by a dummy also. Sir your food was some of worst Mediterranean food i have ever had. Like said with high hopes because you were close to home.

Ordered by phone, was given 15 min to be ready. My drive from work to Taboon was 20 min. They hadn't even put in our order when we got there. We had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes. No comp for this major delay. Food: not authentic at all. The shawarmas are wrapped in flour tortilla. If I wanted flour tortillas I'd have gone to a Mexican restaurant. Service: very disappointing Atmosphere: eh, it's more of a food and art market, paintings all o er the place for sale. I 100% do not recommend this place.

We orders this for take out. I must say, the food was delicious even after a 15 min drive home. The food was very very flavorful and cooked to perfection. It’s a little pricey but worth it.

Don’t sit outside. Until they get fans to keep the flies away but besides that, HOLY COW THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! Hummus was out of this world! Portions were just wowowowowow and the flavor of everything… I’m sorry I wish I had more words but this mediterranean restaurant has my heart. After doing two weeks in Greece this is by far the closest to CLEAN medi. Food I’ve had since being back in the states. Had the lamb chops and chicken kebabs!

Loved our meal here! The food was delicious and very generous portions! Hummus and Falafel were my favorite. Excellent, friendly service! Would definitely eat here again next time we're in town.

Nice place. There are several places in Long Beach that require a reservation now. Made a reservation through Open table which wasn't needed. The traffic was lighter than normal and we arrived early. They seated us early. Service was great and quick. My husband ordered a beer and I had tea. Ordered appetizers, halloumi cheese and pickles. Love the cheese. My entree was the lamb kebab wrap, which was way too much food, took some home for another meal. Husband had the salmon and really enjoyed it. They asked how he liked the salmon prepared, nice touch. Didn't like the garlic sauce. Food was very good, will go again.

I love Mediterranean food and this is a really good spot to get it. Chicken shawarma with garlic sauce on point! It’s tasty and quick yet it feels like a nice meal out without a super high price tag. The patio is really spacious and chill. The owner was very friendly to us as well.

Nice and attentive staff. The lentil soup was good but needed a bit more flavor. The Greek salad had lettuce(lots of places do that). Typically it’s cucumber, tomatoes, onion, calamatas, and feta. They do it differently. It tasted fine. I would like to try their kabobs next time.

The food was excellent! Went for a late lunch/early dinner on a Tuesday, and was surprised to see a pretty good crowd! We were seated immediately, and the service as well as the food was fantastic! A little bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it!

Went for an Ian Patton campaign fundraiser and found the food and service to be good. Probably wasn't a fair time to assess the atmosphere since I wasn't there to primarily dine.

What a great surprise. Good service, great atmosphere, and the food were all excellent!!! I wish I lived closer to Taboon so I could dine there frequently!! Genuinely fabulous food...looking forward to going back sooner than later!

Solid Middle Eastern Mediterranean spot in the Bixby neighborhood. They offer all of the dishes you would expect like Kafta, Kabob, and so on. The outdoor dining is nice because it's not a super busy street, and the food was decent.

My first time dining in since quarantine and it was so so good, absolutely delicious. Potatoes were amazing and that sauce they got goin on, yumm. Beef kabob entrée was on point. You get two types of rice and both have unique flavors. The hummus and pickled purple onion beautifully made. Tabbouleh salad had so much life to it, if you need a wake up this is perfect😉 Mediterranean tea and dessert tied it all together at the end. The best rice pudding I have gotten in a very long time. If your wanting to add some flavor and zest to your palate you should definitely come, don't think you'll be disappointed.

Yesterday we went there for the second time in a row the first day I got the veggie kabab and chicken Shawarma hummus both were scrumptious and delicious. You can tell they make their own human bomb. The second day I got ketfa tahini casserole but i asked to substitute the meat for veggie i was excited they were able to do so. And we got the Shrimp kabab we finish all of our plates. To end the night we top it of with Ashta ice cream pistachio and rose water both were delish its not your regular ice cream this is pack with flavor all the food is pack with flavor but you can also tell they make their food with love. In love with this place
