Great little place tucked away off 3rd street in long Beach. Service was excellent and food was even better. Only open Tuesday thru Sunday for breakfast and lunch. Seating inside and out. Very relaxing atmosphere. A must visit if your looking for a awesome breakfast and lunch. Can't go wrong with anything you order. Also pet friendly.

Cute diner with great service and delicious food. The roast beef hash was a standout with great flavor. Stuffed French Toast was a big portion and savory sweet. Chorizo scramble was good and portion was just right.

our favorite little diner closed and we we're searching for another place for breakfast. Starling Diner showed up and we gave it a try. We were lucky and got the best table in the house, I thought. And we were seated within 5 minutes. Husband ordered the Chicken sausage and Eggs and I had the Egg Benjamin. Oh and do order the double cream scone, and do the basket as it's a better deal. Comes with house made lemon curd and honey orange butter. oh so good. Coffee was good too! Service was superb. All the servers were super attentive.

First time dining here and it definitely will not be our last. I was visiting from the Bay Area, my daughter and son took me to Starling. The most amazing baguette french toast, so delicious and creative. The wait can be long, but well worth it! Can't wait to dine here again in the future!

I'm usually not someone that likes eating sweets for breakfast, but the baguette / Stuffed French Toast with Peaches in Brandy Butter was incredible. Recommend this item 💯 Staff are also really nice. Get there early because this place packs out by 9am on the weekends.

Cute place in the middle of a neighborhood. Great coffee, food was fantastic. Service was incredible. They checked on us often but not overbearing. Will definitely be back!

Cute little neighborhood diner. They have pet friendly outdoor dining. French inspired cuisine. For breakfast, I had the eggs Benjamin, a poached egg on top of salmon and spinach. It was delicious! Definitely worth trying but get there early because it fills up fast. Service was prompt and very friendly.

I’m so sad. The food was great. The service was too apart from our server: a ditzy seemingly self loathing girl who overcharged my card by about $5 AFTER I’d already given her a 22% tip!! It’s the principle which left a poor taste in my mouth desafortunadamente.

This little spot is cool. I had an amazing bbq chicken mixed green salad with a glass of pear juice 😋 a bit of a wait, like 20 minutes. We arrived at 11.30 am but it was worth it. My wife was impressed with her salmon with capers. Staff is very professional and courteous. We drove here from irvine ca after a Google search.

Great food and prices very reasonable. I suggest trying the Mushroom & Swiss burger. It's outstanding. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Kid-friendly as well.

Food is pretty good. Recommend marinating salmon or adding a little bit of spice to add a signature flavor. The most impressive thing was the service—Oscar gave us and everybody around a superb service. Servers here love their jobs!!!Great atmosphere. Love it!!

Quiet neighborhood so dining outside is nice. Food is good and reasonably priced. Parking, I did not see a lot so had to park around the corner in neighborhood streets

One of the best places for breakfasts/brunch in Long Beach, it's a hidden gem. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially when it comes to French Toast and Bloody Marry with Bacon or Crab Leg.

The food here is great, order almost anything and you will definitely enjoy it. We got peach french toast, the chicken apple sausage breakfast and the beginner breakfast. The only difference between the sausage and the beginner was the sausage. They both had well seasoned potatoes, tasty scrambled eggs and a side of a baguette. The chicken sausage was sweet and savory all at the same time, definitely worth a try, at least once. The french toast was good but if you do not like cream cheese stuffed french toast I would recommend against this item. As for the actual restaurant, it is a very tight environment, think of a large cafe in Europe to get the vibe. But now as in music that is club level during breakfast all of this out together, I have to say DON'T EAT IN. And then there is customer service, because of how loud they keep it, the staff can't hear you so your order will be screwed up and may even have extra items or in your bill. So just be careful here.

My favorite brunch spot! Their egg dishes are super tasty and always make me happy. They also got top-tier coffee and scones to enjoy too. Worth the wait and isn’t too packed like other spots

Dont let the cute neighborhood charm fool you - this brunch spot is a homerun! Goto for a French Toast & Scramble spot - they use full bagette with mascapone....FUEGO 🥇. No pancakes or waffles here but its FINE...you wont miss a craving after dining here🤟🏻💯🏆*SAVED as a goto weekly spot for french toast!

I have been here a few times in the past, however today I tried their seasonal berry San Francisco style French Toast and the combination of the sweet and tangy flavors of the strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries mixed with crispy crunchy chewy baguette was absolutely delicious. As someone who recently got a cold, this dish made me delighted and happy when I felt very uncomfortable and miserable. They have a large array of items on their menu, with each tasting more special than what you might get from another diner.

Cute little cafe in the middle of neighbor hood. Unique brunch dishes and they are delicious Had the stuffed french toast with apples and brandy butter. Nice crunchy exterior of bagette pairs nicely with the creamy marscopone filling and the brandy butter is not too oily Scones are also a highlight with tasty orange butter. In photo is Chai latte stuffed french toast and scones
