Place is true to it's name! The vibes here are real! And they are good vibes. The location is nestled in a neighborhood, and near the water. The aesthetics of the cafe are nice and cozy. Like hanging out in the backyard. Service was great. When I arrived, the shop was running strong with only one server and one host. They set the right expectations, and handled business smooth. Our server Robert was top notch! The food, and coffee... Was quite delicious! I ordered a classic: The peninsula. They got this classic dish down. Shared buffalo cauliflower with my partner. It was amazing. Lately, my partner orders the Social Brunch Bowl with hash browns. We both loved it! If I ever come back, I will order that next. Great cafe that deserves the praise.

Vibes Beach Cafè is tucked away on a beautiful spot in Belmont Shores by the Los Alamitos Bay. It is female owned, and operated by a mother and daughter team. They are a scratch kitchen and I was informed that everything is made from scratch and made with love. Immediate good vibes. We enjoyed the space of the back patio and took our time while we drank our coffee. My husband ordered the flat white and I had a lavender latte, interesting flavor, subtle hints of lavender and very good. You can definitely see how fresh everything looks, and tasted equally as good. Filling but not heavy. Of course I had to try “the froze you saw on Instagram” I ordered the 16oz that comes in a to go cup, (sealed) they ask you open once outside. The 20oz comes in a resealable pouch (like CapriSun) bring it back and get discount refills. They serve cocktails and the drinks looked so pretty, I wanted to try them all. You are at the beach so parking can be tricky, there is a parking lot at the end of road, it’s not that far of a walk.

This place is a hidden gem! Very friendly staff, easy parking, gorgeous food and drinks. Such a gorgeous restaurant with different eating areas. *not photographed* rose hibiscus latte which was lovely. I’m so happy I found this beautifully put together establishment and will most definitely be returning.

Really really great find! Such good food. It's a scratch made kitchen. Glad we found this spot. We had a flay white coffee and oatmeal latte. Good coffee Breakfast we had breakfast burritos, the French toast. Pancakes and chilichillas. All of it was amazing. The only thing is it's freezing inside and we wish they had fresh squeezed orange juice. But otherwise stop by and try the food.

Ate their breakfast bagel which included an everything bagel and a sunny side up egg- very good. I enjoyed my brunch on their front patio. In hindsight I wish I requested a seat in their atrium as it looked very inviting. This place seems to pay a great deal of attention to the little things- such as the water I was served came in a clear decanter with a sealable stopper and an accompanying drinking glass. Many of the items on the menu catered to those seeking vegetarian and gluten free fare. For those seeking an above average eating experience and are willing to pay a bit more, the Vibes Cafe may fit your bill.

Love this little hidden gem! It’s down the peninsula but the perfect little spot to bike to if you live in the area. Plus they have frose! Recommend the red velvet pancake, and honestly probably anything on their menu. Great little spot! But if you have a big group, make sure you call ahead or are ready to wait

Food was fine, nothing to write home about. Some overdone, some underdone, so on average it was OK. Despite the cafe being very close to the beach, it's not actually on it, there's no waterfront view, there's just a tiny walled backyard for outside seating. Now to the bad stuff: 1. Staff (one particular guy) extremely not accommodating - we asked to sit outside (there was plenty of tables available) but because we were a party of 6, he declined to move a few tables together, said we can only use a long high table inside. Extremely uncomfortable high chairs. Wobbly, hard can't lean back... 2. No military discount. 3. At some point wife wasn't having it, asked to move to at least lower tables inside. Somehow they allowed that and moved a few tables together (still unclear why same couldn't be done with outside tables). The seat along the wall was a padded bench, but on the other side of the table it's those tiny wooden stumps. Super uncomfortable - especially given we've already been sitting for like 20min on those hard high chairs (the food took a very long time to come). I switched between the stump and a regular, normal chair with soft seat from a nearby table. Nope, the same gestapo dude came, forced to switch back, scolding me "there's a reason why these chairs are there". I'm guessing the reason is to humiliate customers. 4. When they finally brought the food, it turned out that the pizza one of the little kids ordered was a huge, family size pizza that could probably feed half of our party. Cmon, guys, a little kid orders a huge pizza, don't you think it's appropriate to at least mention it's a large portion?

Wow. What a little gem I found. I wanted to celebrate my friends birthday and she wanted brunch at someplace new. This was the location I came up with and it sure was a good one. They don’t take reservations but you can call and put your name on the list. Good thinking but there were 5 of us. And thank goodness we carpooled. Parking is awful over here. Once seated we ordered our drinks. Bummed to find out the frose machine was broken and they were out of champagne glasses for flights. So option 3 was an espresso martini. Well, it was morning and we drink espresso all day so….. this was the bomb. I highly recommend ordering this. We ordered red velvet pancakes for the table. They were beautiful when they came out but let me tell you, 5 girls destroyed that stack like our lives depended on it. Definitely need to order these, whether you decide to share or not. If you’ve read my other reviews, you will see I am somewhat of a creature of habit. Chilaquiles are my go to. I ordered mine with red sauce and a scrambled egg. It had some good heat to it but definitely needed 2 eggs, like most places serve it. The cheeseburger looked good and the breakfast burrito was fat. Service was a little slow. My Mouth was on fire and we waited 20 minutes for water refills. We also had to take our bill to the counter. Not sure if that’s normal or if she just got busy. I absolutely be coming back here. We all enjoyed it very much.

Great atmosphere and people but the service and especially food is SUPER slow. This is the second time we've had this experience within a few days. Although the servers are nice, some are very slow to service even when it isn't busy and the food takes excessively long times. I'm talking chicken wrap and a bowl that takes 20 minutes. I'd like to come back for food but the slow food and service times me very reluctant. I hope it gets better.

Such a great neighborhood spot. They have plenty of outdoor and indoor seating with a beautiful aesthetic. I had a vegan pastry + cold brew and it wasn’t anything out of the norm flavor wise but their food menu looked so delish and diverse I definitely want to come back and try it. What I loved most is that I could sit at the counter, journal, and watch all the dogs pass by. This place is definitely a vibe!

At first look at the menu we decided to walk away but we were stopped by a local regular who was dining. He could not say enough about the place so we gave it a try. We definitely were not disappointed. I loved the breakfast bowls especially the breakfast sweet potatoes. The best golden tumeric hot beverage I have ever had.

Used to be called the Sail In Cafe. My first job. Dishwasher at the Sail In Cafe. My grandparents opened it two doors down 62nd Place at Chisman's Landing. It's a different vibe today for sure but still the only restaurant on the peninsula and I like the friendly staff and comfortable vibe on the front or back patio to have a good coffee or glass of wine. My recent visit was with my father. We both had the hamburger cooked medium rare and water with lemon on the front street side patio. We looked at the place he and mother met just a few feet away. Where it all started. Gerald and Virginia Chrisman's Marina. My grandparents home and businesses that I call Chrisman's Landing. Home is where the heart is, my heart is home right there at Vibes Cafe. Tasty hamburger not too big, not to small, cooked with eye towards gourmet. Presentation was simple and easy. It's a recommendation regardless of my sentimental bond forged in the blood and sweat of Gerald Chrisman. Yours always and forevermore, Paul Gerald Chrisman-Knowles

I've been here a couple of times now. I loved it the first time, but felt like there were some misses this second time. I have ordered a latte, burrito, French toast, breakfast tacos and berry pancakes. the pancakes were a bit dry and the tacos were served completely cold. The waiter has then redone and they were delicious. Other than that, love this location. The service is great and it gets really busy, so you need to arrive early.
