Every time I get the chance, I walk to Cabinet to enjoy a coffee with my loved ones. Kai makes delicious, balanced espresso drinks to the highest standards. Simple and excellent, great vibes. Free wifi and outlets are available. My favorites are, in order, the "Caramel the Violet" with oat milk, cappuccino with whole milk, Matcha Latte with oat milk, and Blackberry Mocha with macadamia milk. You might see me and my family there :)

$$ Great Coffee and dog friendly! Very fresh coffee and teas! Customers love this place. Cafe Cabinet is a popular coffee shop in a very nice area of downtown Long Beach. The owner is an artist and a good designer (he designed this artistic Cafe... nicely done minimalistic interior with appealing style). A feature in Cafe Cabinet that creates a great feel of community is the art displayed throughout the Cafe (owner displays local artists pieces and the Cafe has artshows). The owner is very personable; he is meticulous about his Cafe and his customers. There is a nice patio in the back if you would like to get some California sunshine... Just a couple of blocks from the Long Beach Convention Center, the Art District and a lot of trend setting places to shop. The beautiful Shoreline Village is right behind the Convention Center (about 3/4 mile from Cafe Cabinet)... Very knowledgeable barista whom knows his job and how to properly roast the beans to bring out the flavor. I came back to this coffee shop a couple of times during my stay in Long Beach.

Lovely spot! Just passing through Long Beach and the owners let us camp out for a few hours while waiting to head to the airport. Lovely people through and through!! I had the iced Honey Oat Latte and it was spectacular.

This hidden gem serves some of the best coffee I've found in the Long Beach region. On my first visit, I sampled the blackberry mocha. The aroma and instant energy kicked things into fifth gear. I recently made a detour to Cafe Cabinet and ordered the iced tiramisu cappuccino; it was perfect for my self-care shopping trip at Target 👌🏽

Best coffee I’ve had in the area. If you like proper coffee, this is the place for you. The only complaint I have is the the cups too small!! Need 20oz cups even if it was $12 a cup it’d be so worth it

Only in LA for a short time, but this by far and away had the best coffee I've ever had in the USA. It took me by surprise and as an Australian we are picky about our coffee. Well done :)

I’m from Washington, so I’m a bit of a coffee snob. This place met and exceeded expectations. Iced Americano is classic perfect signature, strength, espresso taste. The violet caramel mocha is extremely smooth and subtle flavors. Well worth the risk to try one of the signature items. Extremely clean and inviting environment.

We has the Kyoto cold brew, decaf espresso iced honey latte, and iced Chai. All amazingly balance flavor. Top coffee shop in LB!

We had the blackberry mocha and caramel rose iced latte. Both were amazing and they made our toddler chocolate milk in a small cup. Really friendly staff. Not a lot of seating area though if expecting to lounge about.

Stopped for a “hot choff” as we call it in Canada, and got an iced latte, and it was muy bueno. Nice little coffee place with a nice walk to the ocean. Highly recommend 🤌

Blackberry mocha is amazing and you can tell the coffee is high quality. The violet latte was also pretty good and the violet flavor wasn't too overpowering.

I was shocked by how slow this place was when I went. The caramel the rose was amazing! While I was in the shop another customer came in stating that the drink they just made her was so good that she wanted to try something else. And the people working there were incredibly friendly. This is a must go for coffee loving travelers and locals.

Their Signatures menu is the priciest, but the options are things that I haven't seen at other places. I ordered the Iced Blackberry Mocha, which has a distinct taste but was delicious. It's a one-man show.

I ordered an iced blackberry mocha and it is extremely delicious. The cafe is a short walk from where I am staying, so I will be coming back for more!

I got the “Caramel the Violet” which is an iced caramel latte with their homemade violet syrup. Wasn’t overpowering or anything. Perfect balance and tasted great. I wouldn’t go to do homework, it’s not setup for that.

Delicious coffee every time by one of the kindest owners I've met! I've tried a variety of drinks here from the Kyoto cold brew to the tiramisu latte - all super tasty and made with care.

Oat Milk Latte was light and flavored well. Gf got the iced mocha and it was refreshing and not too sweet. Delicious.

Absolutely delicious coffee, I highly recommend. I hesitated to come here because of the uncomfortable chairs. I am glad I gave it a try. I had stellar Café Latte. If at some point in the future the chairs are more inviting to sit down, I will be a regular customer in the morning. For now Rose Park Coffee roasters is my favorite morning spot to sit and idle in the morning and reading.
