Love this place! Wide variety of food and drink, some vegan options too. Prices are fair and staff is always friendly and welcoming! They have a good selection of seasonal drinks as well. It’s a cute place to study or hang out. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating. Wifi is good, password is buyalatte. Cool stuff

Delicious fresh food ... Bixby knolls needed a cafe like this. I tried the Avocado Bacon Toast, Goat Cheese and Lavender Toast, and their featured Vanilla Lavender Milk Tea ...

Stopped in today for an ice coffee since I'm new to the area. Bixby Joe's definitely has that neighborhood shop feel. Not one of those fancy fancy small shops. Very welcoming. Looked like they had a good amount of food on the menu too. There's free wifi if you wanna come in and work while you drink your coffee. I'll definitely be coming more often!

OMG! This little nook in the corner is amazing! A 10-minute walk if it's nice outside or a 5-minute drive. Either way, you will not be disappointed...The food is fresh and delicious. I had a Honey, Ginger, and Pineapple smoothie as well. DELICIOUS!

I go here just for the avocado bacon toast. They’ve got a nice seating arrangement and a chill ambience. The weekend mornings get uncomfortably busy! Soooo, go during the week if you prefer calmness.

UPDATE: One month later and no changes or improvements have been made even though they mentioned looking into it 🙄 Likes: If you're going for a quick coffee, bagel or a croissant you're going to the right place. Food is really good. I like how there's always law enforcement stopping in for breakfast too. Dislikes: Seating sucks for families. The only large table is usually taken up by ONE PERSON. Inconsiderate people... You have to listen really hard for your name when they call it out because some staff like to whisper it and you easily won't hear it. They won't recall your name either. It just sits until you get tired of waiting and you go up to check on it. No free refills on coffee!

Bixby Joe's is a delicious and lovely local cafe that serves tasty drinks, pastries, and other food. You can sit inside but there are also plenty of tables outside. It is located inside a shopping center so there is usually parking when it's not super crowded. This is my go-to cafe place and has not disappointed. Happy to have it as my local cafe :)

I was looking for a great breakfast spot with a solid coffee and this spot was great. I ordered their bacon egg and cheese croissant and a latte with almond milk. The sandwich was good and about above average and the latte was descent, overall it was a good breakfast to get the day started. I’d definitely try their other menu items in the future.

I have passed this place by for years and decided to go in this morning! What a gem! Service was amazing and so was the fresh blueberry muffin. Got a medium Columbian coffee... black, and was not disappointed. They even have Open Mic on Wednesdays! I WILL be back.

After a day out in the summer sun stopped in for an Acai Lemonade and a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The Lemonade was delicious and the spiciness of the bagel was just right. The vibe was chill and a great time. The service was also quick.

I love coffee shops and this is only a block away from work. The food it beyond amazing! The coffee is great as well as the atmosphere. I will definitely be coming here for breakfast 😋 highly recommend this place!!!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Long Beach. Their drinks are good and so is there food. They have a lot of food and drink options and it’s all reasonably priced. The only downside is the wait time for food and drinks but that’s because they typically get really busy, however it’s worth the wait. Also it’s a great place to get work done or study and their wifi works pretty well.

For me it was love at first taste. been here three times and I'm already in love with this cozie coffee corner. The sandwiches are delicious and drinks are full of flavor. I live in Whittier but I drive here every chance I get. I choose this coffee shop over any Starbuck in a blink of an eye.

This spot has quickly become a favorite of mine for breakfast and beverages. Starbucks has nothing on this place. With convenient hours, there are lots of people, including regulars, that come here early morning,  even on a weekend.  Food and drinks are fantastic. There's so much variety. The ambience is proper coffee house with outside and inside seating. There's plenty of parking in the lot too. I really like their protein wrap and hubs their jalapeno Cheddar bagel with lox. Filling and delicious.

If this place is consistently as good as it was today then I'll be a regular. Great begal sammiches and croissants.

Latte is delicious but too hot. Mouth burning. Couldn't drink for a good 10 mins. Great vegan avocado toast though.

This place is great and the food options are varied and plenty. It's really nice to have a place to sit and work or chill. However, there is so much smoke in the air from all the toast being made in the kitchen that it burns the eyes when you stay in there for more than a few minutes.

The toast are pretty good. Service is always friendly but kind of slow. I've had their coffee multiple times but it's always lacking something.

Good food but pricey for what it was. I think they forgot our order, we had to remind them when we'd waited 25 minutes and they seemed to be just chatting with no other orders to fill. $30 plus tip for two 'sandwiches' and drinks....40 minutes later we got our order but they forgot a drink, said somebody took the first one? Tasty food, though.

I have enjoyed everything so far from Bixby Joes. My friend convinced me to try their lox bagel and it was surprisingly amazing. So many interesting choices of coffees and teas. Staff has been super friendly and always accommodating if I want to add more sweetness to my drinks. The one thing I wish they would do is offer customers how much sweetness they want in their drinks like other establishments are doing. I usually end up asking for more sweetness after I get a new drink I've never tried before. Either way this place is phenomenal.

This really is the "Best cup of Joe in the neighborhood." The atmosphere is friendly. There are about 30 seats inside and about 14 seats outside. I have been here several times in the late afternoon during the week, and it is surprisingly full, but I have always found an empty spot at a table to do some work. Today I came around 7am on a Monday and it is mostly empty. The barista was so kind to let me exchange my coffee, as it turns out I really didn't like the Colombian roast as it is a medium roast, but seems more on the darker side. So the Hawaiian Hazelnut is also a medium roast, but on the lighter side, delicious and now my favorite here. A 16 ounce cup is $2.45. I always tip! I come here just for the regular coffee, but there are snacks, smoothies, wraps, paninis, bagels etc. I just found out they have wifi, so great homework station! This is a sweet place to chill. I totally recommend checking it out when you're in the neighborhood.
