California's overlooked museum and underrated as well. This place of historical significance was amazing. Our tour guide is George and he was a wealth of information from each and every door, stairway, and room. No pets allowed but fantastic job by the friendly and well trained staff!! If I could give more than five stars I would. Thanks again George!!!!

I actually really enjoyed my visit here. I went during their Spirit Tour and it was centralized around the ghosts and paranormal experiences people have has there, it was also really informative. They have regular tours as well. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and seem to enjoy working there. I would absolutely come again

Very interesting place i highly recommend it because it is the last civil war post in CA, but the guide we had was really condescending to my 9 year old that didn't know much about the civil war yet and she was OCD about making us move in a certain direction through the tour, and not touching anything at all except for the stair banister. She seemed like over the top about it. I thought she could have been a little more friendly towards my daughter she was obviously knowledgeable but no personality whatsoever and made my daughter feel like an idiot.

We really enjoyed our Mother's Day Tea in the library at the Drum Barracks Civil War Museum.. The food, the music, the tea cups and staff made it a very special day. Looking forward to next years tea.

Amagin this place if u can... late 1970's... had been un attended for years serios dismay.... power off, yet the soft glow of light at night! I remember as a small child, living at 1031 n cary ave.... I am a below the knee amputee on the left born clubbed foot. There were windows on the back side of the building (cary) side I would see an Apparition in the windows watching me... later I find very interesting things that might have made me someone that would be watched... anyone with the whole history understands.... its haunted I promise!

This museum is really cool! I'm usually not the museum going type but the infinity room really did it for me. I reserved my tickets about 3 months in advance just to make sure I could go and I got the earliest time.

So haunted! Years ago on a field trip, my class and I witness several hauntings: that food smell, the hand print on the bedding. When the piano sounded off everyone got scared & kinda scattered; I left with a scratch mark BUT I WAS IN THE BACK 😳.
