Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 I don't know how you should evaluate the local community park, but this one is a rare gem. However, the problem is that some people living in the area abuse the facilities of the park. The man who lives on the corner rides his bike every day at 5:30 pm on the grass. There's a lot of damage already,... People often mention park, play, kids, area, good, nice, great,

A good place to run around with the boys I tried to take them to the park when I can . My boys always get excited to go on a car ride. Wherever I take them I make sure that it's safe for my boys. Sometimes we play ball sometimes they just want to rest or sometimes we just walk around the area. We have a good time wherever we go. There so much space for them to run around and play ball. Love going to the park and and hanging out with the boys my doggies. God gave me two little angels 🐕🐕

This park is wonderful. I have a 4 and 2 year old. The both of them had a blast and didn't want to leave. That is usually a good sign. The park is well maintained and have pretty unique things for kids of all ages to interact with. I'm bringing my children back to this park for sure.

Beyond the small park feeling and the soggy wet patches around the park, I found this location to be a happy and outgoing location. Some seat for those want to relax, large patches and land to play ball or soccer and good people and good Community. Beyond the occasional jet flying by. I did my workout here with no problems at all.

Playground for kids is amazing. Lots to do and very creative structures. Park is pretty small and quiet and only 2 tables. There are restrooms near the baseball stadium but the stalls are extremely small. Toilet doesn't always flush well either. But overall, great park to chill and relax.. and really nice place for kids to play and have some fun.

Clean, nice, and quiet park to walk around for a half-mile exercise routine. Occasional soccer teams playing friendly practice games. Friendly people, nice dogs. Surrounded by beautiful trees, although some of them have recently been cut down - possibly due to tree disease. It's still a lovely park. I just love it! ❤️

Inside the building and you need to ask for permission to use the facilities. It’s a nice size playground. Small restroom.

Large public Park located in the city of Long Beach, very close to the University campus. There are a bunch of parking spots here, just plan to parallel park. The annual Long Beach Marathon runs directly past this park, twice in fact. Mile 16 and Mile 20 are right there. During the marathon, they do have porta johns. The rest of the year, you'll have to find someplace else to do your business. There are trash cans all over the place, which is nice.

This is mine and my kids' preferred park in Long Beach. The playground has unique rope climbing, simple bongos and xylophone, spinning rope swings, spinning circular tilted bar, a slide, swings, and a separate gated playground for smaller children. It's a one-stop play destination since it also has a baseball field, a gated area containing one full court basketball court and one volleyball court, two large grassy areas, and two restrooms located behind the baseball diamond. There are concrete picnic benches under tress or several benches around the playground to sit at while watching your kids play. There is ample parking with one small lot on the north side along Atherton, one lot on the west side off with entrances off of Bellflower or Atherton and a lot in the southwest corner off of Bellflower behind the YMCA.

They've updated the play area since I was here last. The kids loved the update and was able to stay busy running around.

Great park tucked away from traffic. Playgrounds are lots of fun and have a variety of play equipment for different ages. The unique and fun parts of the playground are the xylophones and drums which sound beautiful no matter how you play them. What a great park!

Great little neighborhood park! We attended the L.B. Band Concert! This is a VERY OLD TRADITION of ours...and it's wonderful to see the neighbors all come from blocks around to enjoy an hr or so in our park with exceptional music provided by a band that has celebrated over a 100 years in existence! Los Altos area of L. B. is a GREAT place to live!

Whaley Park is a great place to take the kids. It's safe, and there are different play structures for different ages, there is also a spinning structure that all the kids love. You are also right up against a baseball field and there are sometimes movies in the park there. Across the street is a huge field where boys and girls play AYSO soccer. It's overall a great place!
