First. The Miso Soup is tasty, and a good starter. Second. The Inari Sushi is really good especially after the Miso Soup (mainly, to me, because of the seaweed which I like complementary to Miso Soup as I'm eating it). I like the balance of sweetness over savoriness. There is a hint of a really good sauce which goes very well with the Inari Sushi. Third. The Jungle Roll is soooooooooo tasty especially with onions from the grill. The Jalapeños offer the right amount of savoriness though the sauce is like a sweet vinaigrette. Overall, the meal is extremely filling. The chef(s) does/do not disclose the ingredients of any of the sauces. I don't think any of the meals require Ginger or Wasabi (as each tastes so good without though I like dipping The Jungle Rolls in the soy sauce). To the staff working from 8:15 PM to close on 9/25/2021, thank you for the good cooking, and customer service. I'm really glad to have a go to Vegan Sushi spot. This was the best vegan sushi I have ever tried. There are so many options, more than most places that offer vegan sushi have. I ordered the mini mix and match vegan rolls and they were so cute and delicious. The crunchy tofu roll was also so good. The atmosphere was really pretty and the ladies working here are SO sweet. I wish I lived closer, I would come here all the time.

Friendly service, clean restaurant and a great menu! They have a full vegan menu with tasty options and everything is clearly labeled. Price was great for the food quality and experience. Will definitely be back.

A little hole in the wall spot but I must say it is a must-visit for sushi lovers in Long Beach. The sushi rolls are expertly crafted and burst with flavor with every bite. The chef roll and Seared Salmon Rolls are my favorite. The service at Bluebird Haus Sushi is exceptional. The staff is friendly, and attentive, making sure that you have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. They are happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions you may have about the menu. The restaurant's ambiance is perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. The lighting is warm and cozy, and the decor is tasteful and modern. Overall, Bluebird Haus Sushi is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers in Long Beach. With its exceptional food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere.

A little sushi spot that everyone needs to try at least once. From the seafood rolls to the vegetarian rolls, it all tastes amazing and fresh. Prices are good too so can't really go wrong. It felt very family owned which made the experience that much more pleasant. They also mentioned they will be serving ramen eventually so I'll be back for that!

All I have to say is ... when it comes to sushi and prices ... bluebird is the way to go ! Animal roll & hey baby roll is a must! and their other premium rolls are amazing as well - perfect date night grab for sure !

Hands down some of the best sushi I have ever tried! Absolutely love their fresh roll. When I lived in LB this was my go to spot for sushi and now that I have moved away, its still my go to spot for sushi! The vegan options for sushi were amazing as well. The shop is tucked on Broadway and it can be easy to miss, and parking is not great (just like anywhere else in that area) but I guarantee it is worth it.

I have become a regular here and for good reason. They have the bombest vegan sushi + the sweetest people that work here. It’s also such a compromise to come here with friends as half of their menu is non-vegan so everyone wins. I am happy to have a vegan sushi spot nearby and it always hits the spot… the salmon roll is my absolute fave and don’t forget to walk out with some garlic chili oil from Spicy Kitchen on your way out!

Everything was amazing. We had salmon hand rolls, poke salad and Thai boba tea. Everything tastes amazing, size was slightly bigger than in other poke/sushi places.

So nice to find a place that serves vegan sushi that’s not just avocado rolls. I had the crispy tofu rolls and they were delicious. The portions were also generous.

Omg! I love their sushi, tastes very fresh and now they have ramen! It's very tasty compared to the others I've had around downtown long beach, I had 2 bowls! Definitely coming back here.

I called to make sure they weren’t busy (we had a large group) and then when we got there they already had a table and menus set up! Super nice server, explained the menu to us when we had questions. And the sushi was reaaalllly good. Would recommend!

The sushi was OK I’ve had better, service was good . The inside is clean, Prices were reasonable as well. Can’t say I’ll be back!

Sadly, this isn’t the same Blue Bird sushi. I know that they left & another restaurant moved in. I like that they tried to keep it somewhat the same, but it’s just not. The menu is really different, especially for the vegan options. Out of the 3 rolls we had, the inside was all the same. The only difference was the toppings, which ended up making us sick unfortunately. I’ve never tried this new imitation fish which looks like fish, but tastes like cold styrofoam. It was such a bummer. The rest of the roll was fine, but the “fish” was terrible. I remember when the old Blue Bird made their vegan “fish” it was thin sliced tomato marinated in spices & soy sauce, it was delicious. I miss that menu & how they used to prepare the vegan rolls. We probably won’t come again. But, I will have to say the staff was extremely nice & friendly. I’m sure their non vegan options are good, people seem to still like it.

My daughter and I visited and had a new employee attend to us. I was amused by the lack of experience but pleased that a back up server made sure we were well taken care of and our order was correct. Food was delicious. We had crispy Avocado, chirashi bowl and crispy shrimp roll all very good. I was most pleasantly surprised by the curry Ramen bowl We took to go... it was so good we picked another bowl a few days later and we will be back to dine in very soon.

Everything was delicious and healthy! Our server was wonderful. We will be back!

Since I have celiac disease and I'm vegan, eating out can be a challenge for me, so this place was an exciting find. I love having more than one or two options on the menu. Eating with chopsticks was also a fun experience for us, the food was delicious, and the staff took it to the next level. The gentleman who served us was kind and considerate. He really made us feel at home away from home! Will definitely come back here next time we're visiting Long Beach.

Not the same place we used to go to.... 8 guess there is new owners and the people who made the plant based sushi left. The new people have tried to recreate what was done before but it's not even close to the quality or taste. Guess the old chef/creator is in Huntington Beach now. Oh well heading south for another 20 mins.
