Away from home, and hungry, I meet someone that recommends Ike's for a late lunch. I ask about Vegan options. The person doesn't know. Ike's Love & Sandwiches is near so I check the menu. Ike's has a huge selection of sandwiches, many of which are Veganizable. The Day Off tastes so good! I have to ask employees if I'm eating actual Swiss Cheese (it's Vegan Cheese). A lollipop comes with my meal. Tractor's teas are really tasty! A person can dine-in without a mask though has to wear a mask at all other times indoors. Customer service is really on point. Ike's seems to be a go to sandwich spot in Long Beach (at least for The Day Off sandwich). I enjoy a good sandwich-sub type meal from time to time. Ike's accepts Samsung Pay.

Great visit and experience super friendly staff and a fantastic sandwich. Got a dirtbag sandwich and it was awesome, the bread is more than just a delivery system for the filling of your sandwich and that makes a difference. Key factor of a well made sandwich, it doesn't fall apart and this didn't either. Worth the price tag but not an every day eating spot because of it as well.

I was so happy when I found out Ike’s Love and Sandwiches opened up in Long Beach! You won’t find better sandwiches anywhere else. They serve one of a kind tasting sandwiches, plus the possibilities are endless! To top it all off the workers here are friendly.

Just learned about this place recently. Really good sandwiches but have so many varieties. You will need to come many times to taste them all. Even the vegetarian options sounds good here! My only concern is that some of their sandwiches are named after SF Giant players..... some who don't play there anymore. I'm guessing the owner is a SF fan.

The pee wee sandwich was delicious! I added avocado! This is my go to place for sandwiches!

I’ve been here a few times and the vegan sandwiches are delicious, but Im always disappointed with the size of the Gluten-free bread they use. I got a meatless Mike and the meatballs don’t even fit in the bread and my sandwich falls apart when I try to take a bite. The gluten free bread is so small compared to the regular bread they serve on other sandwiches and it’s not anywhere close to being big enough to keep meatballs in it. I also feel it’s the size a child would eat, and has never filled me up. For the expensive price, it’s sadly not worth it.

Excellent service, lots of choices - I especially appreciate that they have halal and vegetarian options. The location itself is spacious and clean. Highly recommend the dutch crunch bread.

If you want a yummy different sandwich this is the place. The sandwich is pretty big and half will be enough. They have some vegan options that allow quite a few choices.

We picked up some sandwiches from here for a picnic. They were good, just a little too much bread for our taste. It is probably more of a personal preference for me. Would advise you to try and decide for yourself !!

Great vegan sandwiches 🥪😋the sandwiches came with a lollipop, Dominic was thoughtful enough to provide us with vegan ones since we ordered vegan sandwiches. My friend who was with me got a caramel apple sucker so I know that he made sure we got vegan treats instead of the other kind. are you hearing this Ike? Give Dom a raise!

My boyfriend and I were in Long Beach for an event and found this place. Ordered the Hunter Pence and it was by far one of the most delicious sandwiches we’ve ever tried! So good that we had to Uber eats another one later on in the day (from LA).

Five stars for Ike's Love and Sandwiches in Long Beach! Ample parking, friendly staff, and the Matt Cain sandwich made my visit superb. Highly recommended

I wanted to give them a 5 stars...this was my first time ...the menage sandwich is GOOD ,,,HOWEVER....only issue not enough Meat....i taste all crunch bread ..they gave only 4 pickles....come on...my food was dilevered... I asked for no tomatoes it came with tomatoes....I asked for it dirty and sauce on the side ...It's came no sauce on the side..."I'll come back" but it will be in person...no more delivery....ALL Restaurant's I'm noticing make your food any way, wrong and smaller and its usually wrong. IKES ILL BE BACK

I'll give it to them they have the best gluten free bread 1 start for the gf-bread. I had their awarded sandwich "Matt Cain". But this was the blandest sandwich I've ever had. Between Panini's, Jersey Mikes, and Jimmy John's it lacks so much flavor.... Slogans says this ain't your momma's sandwich shop... duh cuz she would have seasoned the meat first. LOL $20 for chips sandwich and soda.

Dont order thru doordash or ubereats from here. They made my driver wait so long. A african American guy that works there told him that they have to take real customers first,as if iam not one. My order was promised to be ready at 1:55 and was given to the driver at 2:25. I only ordered 2 items.

I absolutely love this place the sandwiches are Bar None the best I've ever had the prices are a bit steep though $15 for a sandwich out the door is a long way from the old $5 footlong Subs from Subway. However the taste of ice love and sandwiches products blow Subway away and any other sandwich shop that I've been to highly recommend Ike's love & sandwiches. Just remember to bring your wallet and an empty stomach I've tried to save half a sandwich for later later usually comes within 30 minutes of wrapping it up saying that I'll save it for later. I've learned not to tease myself when it comes to Ike's love & sandwiches I get a sandwich, I sit down, and I don't get up until that sandwich is gone!

Good sandwiches, some of the better vegetarian sandwiches out there. But tbh they could put more 'meat' on it. I see the turkey sandwiches are like an inch think but the 'blt' protein is always like a teeny tiny sliver and I'm always hungry after, and I feel that way about the few that I've tried. So I don't really plan on returning any time soon... except maybe to buy some if their bread... the bread is great.

I’ve lived in Long Beach for about a year now and have finally tried Ike’s! I ordered a tuna sandwich and a vegetarian meatball sub on house bread to share with my girlfriend. The tuna sandwich was fine, but the house bread is incredibly sweet for my taste. Nonetheless, I did eat my entire half. There is a sugar crumble topping on it. The meatball sub was not at all what I was expecting. I couldn’t get more than two bites of the sandwich before putting it in the trash. I do not recommend this sandwich especially for the price (my total for just the sandwiches was $27).

Very poor order management! They do not seem to respect customer's time! I was quote 15 minutes for ONLY 2 sandwiches, once time elapsed, I was told it would be another 10 min, again for 2 sandwiches. Trust be told, our order had not been worked on after 15 mins. Very poor experience, this is a first and last time here. Go somewhere that respects your time! Time I received my order.

It’s vegan inclusive and I appreciate the range of beverages there :D. There are so many sandwich options to choose from, and the people here are kind. You get a free lollipop with your order too! You can also ask for modifications to your order. I’d go again :D

This was my first time here and it was amazing! They offer a variety of gourmet sandwiches with plenty of add-ons and vegetarian options. I tried the Stephen Hawking on their famous Dutch crunch and I absolutely recommend it. I can't wait to come back to try the other sandwiches they offer.
