Even better experience and show than previous. They have really stepped up their performance. The pirates all come out before the show for quite a while and they individually come out and interact with all the guests. It was great! It adds a personal aspect to the whole experience. Two of my kids were chosen to be part of the show and even I was selected by the captain to join in as well. It's very interactive. There are some pirates that are silly and crack lots of jokes. The food was great. Adults get a choice of either pork or chicken and they are both really good! The kids all get a hamburger, Mac and cheese, and seasoned mashed potatoes. The fountain drinks for kids and adults are bottomless and the dessert was a German chocolate cake. They ask about food allergies several times so that really shows me they're attentive to detail.

This was my first time there and I enjoyed the show. We had 4 adults and two 14 year olds in our party and they all liked the show as well. Good acting and physical entertainment. Everybody was friendly and the actors worked very hard to make sure we watched a good show. Very, very, kid friendly.

This was a very unique experience. Went with my daughter and parents, we all had a great time. We attended the halloween show, so the entire place was decorated in the Halloween theme. Getting there an hour before show time is a good idea as they have a full bar, souvenir store and a counter that sells replica swords from popular movies. The show arena is large and you are seated in color themed groups with your own pirate to cheer for, much like medieval times. The stage is a large ship, so if you are in just the right spot, a ship maste may block your view of some performances. The food is good, not fancy gourmet, but a decent meal; upgrades are available. Servers check on you regularly and bring drinks from the bar for you. Over all we had a really good time and plan to attend again in the future.

Such a fun time! My daughter and I finally tried Pirates after going to Medieval Times 5x. Wish we’d gone sooner! Great show that involves the audience and allows children to take part. Really awesome acrobatics, you can tell they’re pros! The green Pirate was talking with guests and just randomly did a back flip to delight the kids! Amazing! My daughter is an actress so we’re pretty critical of performances, but this cast was incredible!!! Food very good. My daughter had some special dietary requests (she doesn’t eat carbs) and they accommodated no questions asked. Would definitely recommend and plan to go again! Dress up in your favorite Pirate look and have fun! That’s what shows like this are all about!!!🏴‍☠️

This is a must in Buena Park. Amazing show and theatrics! Better than the medieval show!! The food was better than we expected. They brought all the children on stage as honorary pirates and included lots of children and adults in other aspects of the show. They also have a cute gift shop. And encourage all pirate attire. Wonderful family entertainment. Would do it again!! Highly recommended.

Super fun event. Food was really good. Had the pork plate and it was very well done. Liquor prices are not bad. Drinks are very good. Staff was fun and attentive. They really focus on your kids so they have a good time. Show is fun to watch. Well worth the money

We attended on Dec. 23rd and they had a Christmas show on with Santa, Mrs. Claus and a fairy. There was no disclaimer when we bought the tickets. As cute as it was to see an acrobatic fairy for 15 minutes we were there see PIRATES sword fighting each other with water blasting and a fire 🔥 show. That's what we were expecting and feel we were robbed from that. The Santa show got pretty boring quick. 😴 not impressed at all with the "show". Food was delicious and tasty. Server was nice and friendly but was MIA a lot. I had to ask other servers to send my server over 3 different times. 🙃 very disappointed with this pirate show. ☠️

Excellent show, somewhat absent server (took forever to ask for a refill, and then he forgot about it), good food if a bit small serving. Very talented performers!

Fun experience, it is loud and lots of pyrotechnics so I wouldn't bring small children or sound sensitive people here. The food is basic but edible. The cocktails are good and the bar gives generous pours. My hubby liked this show better then the Medival Times, I liked them both!

5 stars for the pirate show performance - comedy, along with lots of singing, dancing, acrobats, aerial show and fun times for kids and adults👍👍👍. We were seated on the purple section and got to cheer for the pirate in purple. He walked around, chatted and took some pictures with us. When we arrived, we took a couple of pictures in front of green screen, then walked into a gift shop. There’s no need to arrive 90 minutes early… we were seated in the first row because of the upgrade. We had a simple dinner menu - soda, lemonade, or tea, tomato soup or salad to start, everyone got a piece of chicken with mash potatoes and veggies, wrapped up the night with a piece of cake.

A little pricy but a good time had by all! We had a group from 5 yearys old to 50 and all of us enjoyed the show. All the staff were friendly and polite. We will be back one day.

Great opportunity to have fun with the kids or just go enjoy it yourself. The story was fun to watch and extremely entertaining! The service was great and the food was pretty good as well. I enjoyed sitting there and watching the acrobatics and sword play while the story plot was very easy to follow. I will definitely be back

If you’re looking for a fun experience, go across the parking lot to medieval times. The performance is less corny, the waiting area and gift shop area and bar are better. This kind of seems like a crammed little tiny building with acting that is so over the top you kind of just wanna leave because it’s not good. Food was ok.

We came for my son’s birthday and my whole family had a great time. The show was awesome, the crowd involvement is so much fun and the food is good. My major complaint is that the food portion for kids is way too small. I have three boys and all of them were still hungry after the meal. The main item of the kids meal is a slider the size of the palm of your hand. Unless the child is 6 or under there is no way it’s enough food for them.

Definitely a must see if you're looking for a family friendly tourist attraction! The prices are fairly reasonable and includes both the show and a dinner. You can also pay for extra stuff as well. The show itself is very entertaining with a lot of viewer participation. If you have a child, it's almost a guarantee that they will participate in the show in some way (can't say for sure though, I just noticed the actors tried to pick the younger audience members as much as possible). I do believe there was a preshow but I unfortunately missed it because I didn't know. I recommend trying to arrive a little early so that you can join in on the fun (instead of arriving on the dot like me). The food itself is okay. You're definitely paying moreso for the show than the meal. Everyone agreed that the chicken was delicious though. Service was pretty fast as well.

OK so don't expect much food wise. I liked the salad because it was drenched and ranch and that how I eat my salads however if you don't like it drenched make sure you let them know to go light on the dressing. My kids didn't touch any of their food. However I'm still giving it 5 stars for the entertainment and show itself. It was a highlight of our trip. Everyone agreed it was way better than we expected it to be. Had me and the kids smiling and laughing all night.

Excellent food & entertainment venue! Spent my 26th birthday here, attending for the first time, and was blown away by the craftsmanship and talent here. The aerial dancers were my favorite, absolutely stunning. As a pirates fan, this was the place to be! Planning on returning someday soon. They serve cake with a candle on your birthday!

So much fun, better than I expected! Even our 9 month olds were entertained the whole time and the pirates interacted a lot with our 10 year old! I do recommend getting there early because the bar and souvenir section fills up very fast and gets very hot. I upgraded one of our meals to the turkey and I don't think it was cooked all the way. Not worth the extra. We ordered drinks with our dinner that was suppose to be included and never came, and they didn't give a dessert option which was a shame because I don't like coconut. I guess my only complaints were about the food. The show itself was amazing. Can't wait to go back, their wifi went down and I didn't bring enough cash for souvenirs so hopefully next time I can get a few things for the kids before the show

My husband surprised our kids and me with dinner and a show to celebrate our anniversary at Pirate's Dinner Adventure last night. It was great! The holiday show is on right now and it was very enjoyable! Our pirate, Saxon, was awesome! So funny and nice! The whole staff was very entertaining and polite. The food was delicious! The mashed potatoes are amazing! This is a great place to visit when in town. It's a very interactive show too. I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I went to this show tonight and it was really a blast. My wife surprised me with this for our sixth wedding anniversary. Our server was great, the food terrific, the show was fun, and any pirate fan will enjoy it. What a great way to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Arrrr! Here there be pirates.

Food deserves 0 stars. Absolutely disgusting. Eat before you go or bring a snack. The show was wonderful and so fun! The actors were great and if you get VIP seats they involve you in the show. Super fun for kids. The staff were wonderful. So kind and accommodating.

5⭐ for the performers/show! Drop to 3 because of food. Our first time. Try Groupon or another discount first! No one said anything about paid parking (when made reservations or called to ask a Q).Didn't see it mentioned on tickets either. $8 to park in their lot!!! So didn't bother buying a pre-drink as intended, out of principle. $8 is nuts on top of tickets. We did get a drink for our Goddaughter, it was her bday. And the bartender gave for free for her bday. So THAT was great! 5⭐ bartender! Gift shop n small bar area beforehand. Then high ceiling room, before enter show area, and it's decorated great! Fun pics. We went for afternoon show so not crowded at all. We got front row seats. Ok con FOOD. Choice was chicken or pork. We all picked chicken. U get salad or soup to start. Salad was iceberg, mostly all the white end parts. So blah. Then chicken, mashed potatoes n veggies (squash n carrots) of the 3 of our chickens only one was cooked decent. My piece was super small n dry. Husbands was decent sized but also dry. Her's was decent size n less dry. Super disappointed. Cake was ok. You can pay extra for various appetizers n of course alcohol drinks. We didn't bother. As soon as you sit pirates are coming up to you. We each were asked to participate. If you get asked do it... have fun! They want you to cheer loud for your pirate/section. The singing was amazing! The stunts/fighting etc was GREAT again 5⭐ worth the show part! Next time I might eat first

Love the set and actors. Actors did their job well and professionally. Now little issues with the show, there long and because they try to involve audiences it was hard to follow the story or what they are trying to do. However, awesome effort, when someone new comes visit , it will be one of the spots to visit. Oh, food was ok, don't get the chicken.

This is a must do experience for grown ups and kids! We had a blast! Things to expect This is a very interactive experience! My whole party was asked to participate. My daughter held the flag, I walked with a treasure, and my husband was asked to raise a flag. The pirates also come out before the show and interact with the guests. The whole experience felt very personal and special. There is literally no place to hang your purse. Mine had to go on the ground so I would suggest not bringing a purse if you don't want anyone stepping on it. The food was beyond gross. We had the chicken and it was okay. The mashed potatoes were just yuck. I didn't even try the vegetables. The drinks are bottomless and make sure you carry cash to tip your server. Seating We sat in the orange section. The view was great. I would say the worst sections are blue and green. Groupon had a great discount. I would order tickets thru them and save some money. We had such a great time. I would definitely go back and do it all over again!

Best evening entertainment I could ever anticipate. I purchase my ticket online and got the onion rings also turkey leg with mash potatoes and mixed vegetables. Be cautious, it’s real big and juicy I couldn’t even finish it all. But the free chocolate dessert was not bad at all, I enjoyed cheering on my green pirate winning over the mermaid’s favor!

The dinner was ok, correct. The show is fun, and the audience is well involved. The souvenir shop has no price showing, neither the bar. They make a picture of you at the entrance that they sell 42$ during the show. Don t forget your tips for the waiter!

Had such a fun time at the Pirate Adventure dinner show. We were celebrating our youngest daughter bday. The show was an excellent with so much comedy and adventure with a bunch of drama. Kids were invited to participate in the show. The entire cast were very polite and easy to speak with. The food was good and it came quickly. Nothing fancy or crazy because it’s a pirate show and you eat like one. You get some chips, fries, and your meat of choice. You also have the chance to Venmo your server a tip though Venmo. I do recommend this Show.

It was my Boyfriends and I first time going. We had so much fun . I took him for his birthday it was a Surprise he didn't know where we were going until I drove up. we were the first ones in line. So when I got to the window I asked the lady if i could upgrade out tickets to the treasure package. She said let me check with my supervisor and I mentioned that with my boyfriend's M Birthday so supervisor came in they were talking and then 10 minutes later she handed me our tickets she said here you go. It Was supposed to be 70 80 bucks to upgrade I was ready to give her my credit card shw said no it's fine .so the supervisor upgraded us for free. I thanked her and told her I really appreciate it. She waved us to go on and smiled. Now that is great customer service. Drinks were good prices.the atmosphere was fun had a great times. even though we were buzzed. We got to be on the purple side which is my favorite color. Wewould go again.

It is true it is the most interactive show dining experience couple my kids were part of the entertainment the food was good the lobster was good could have been a little bit bigger but the server she wasn't quick enough we got our food later the last in our section it was supposed to be all you can drink the sodas and stuff like that but I had to keep asking for it over and over again so pretty much only got literally like two refills of my Pepsi #pepsi the tomato soup was good but everything the show feels great if your VIP they should allow you to go in first like other places do so here even with us having paid the most for the tickets we were pretty much almost the last to sit so they didn't have no separation of VIP and regular ticket holders so I probably could give it a three stars because of that but pretty much four stars is good only why they didn't get the first stars because of that plus also the server like I said I had to keep asking for my drink to be refilled over again after she forgot several times and we were the last ones to be fed if she can't handle a big section then they need to give her a smaller sectionthey keep using covet as their excuse for not having the VIP section like they used to with the free appetizers and everything else so they need to get on their website and fix a bunch of stuff because even talks about you're supposed to get shrimp with your food and you don't but I do like how they do have more options than other places. Hopefully everything's good using the voice to text trying to make sure it says exactly what I say. But I would like to go back again same experience VIP my daughter loved it so she wants me to do her birthday there and May it was for my wife's birthday this time she enjoyed it that's the main part that's why it's still at four stars. Our pirate was the red pirate Jack he was cool the yellow pirate was awesome just like the green pirate. So if you haven't gone and see the pirate show and Buena Park you should do that this year tax money is coming out save some for a family night out on the town.

We went on a week night and had a lovely time as a family of 4 with 2 toddlers. We would definitely come again! Kid friendly: The venue was accommodating in providing us booster seats. The kids meals were the same serving size as the adult which was great! Before the show, the actors went around greeting everyone which was so fun. During the show, kiddos can be volunteers throughout to be a part of the show! And afterwards, the actors were available again for photos which was so special to the kids! We didn’t have enough time before the show, but there was also mini golf right outside! The food: the food was a little bland, but portions were good. So much chicken! The cocktail service had separate staff bringing the drinks and doing orders, and were friendly and timely. The souvenir cups were a nice touch! The show: We loved the show! We were surprised to find the show to be so somewhat of a musical with songs, a bit of comedy and talented silks performers. Including the audience to join the show and going against other teams made it more fun! And as for seating, we were pleased to be able to leave your seat without making everyone in your row move as opposed to MT shows.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Pirates Show in Buena Park and I must say it was an absolute blast! This show is truly a fantastic way to spend an entertaining evening with family and friends. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we were transported into a world of swashbuckling adventure and excitement. The show itself was incredibly fun and amusing. The talented performers truly brought the pirate theme to life with their energetic and captivating performances. The acrobatics, stunts, and sword fights had us on the edge of our seats throughout the entire show. It was a truly immersive experience that left us in awe. Not only was the show a hit, but the food offered during the performance was delicious. We had the opportunity to enjoy a scrumptious meal while being entertained. The menu offered a variety of options, catering to different dietary preferences, and everything was prepared with great care. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation was top-notch. Furthermore, the service provided was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to assist with any needs or inquiries we had. They ensured that our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable, providing a seamless evening of entertainment and relaxation. Overall, the Pirates Show in Buena Park is a must-visit for families looking to have a night of fun and adventure. The combination of the spectacular live show, delicious food, and excellent service make it a memorable experience for all. I highly recommend adding this show to your list of family-friendly activities in Buena Park; it is an absolute treasure!

We had a great father & son belated birthday celebration night at the Pirates Dinner Adventure in Buena Park California. The food was pretty good, but the server, Jose, made it seem just a little better because of his excellent service. I also wanted to give a shout out to Mike, that works in customer service, on the telephone. We called before coming to insure our reservations were in order. Mike made me feel important and I could here in his voice that Mike genuinely cared that our family's evening was enjoyable. Mike futher shared tips to ensure we have the dinners that we would be satisfied with! The Pirate Adventure show was fun, and kept my 12 year old son's attention from the beginning off show to it's conclusion

My family had a great time at the pirate dinner adventure in buena vista location. The show is very entertaining and they involve the crowd several times. All four of my kids were asked to participate and help the pirates “win” and save the mermaid! The food is average at best but I don’t think you’re paying for the food really. I do think the souvenirs were extremely overpriced, I definitely think they could’ve charged half of what they were. Overall, it was a great time and my family would definitely go back!

  • 1/5 Ezralyn B. 2 years ago on Google
Okay this is an honest review. But I seriously think I could have wrote a better script than this Christmas special. And I guess that Christmas special does not include the mermaid in the previews, which I think they should have mentioned. There were also a lot of loud action noises, but you could barely hear what was going on. The best parts were the acrobatic skills of a few of them. Other than that, we didn’t even know what was going on the whole time. The food was also terrible, but at least the service was alright. The food was mass produced so it’s nothing special at all. It was also dry and possibly old. We even ordered a lobster tail and it was probably a few days old and a bit dry. I feel like we were definitely over charged for this whole experience. We’ve been to the medieval times and it’s WAY BETTER. If you want a better experience and better food, go there instead. Trust me. I also don’t like companies that only seem to respond to positive reviews. It really speaks volumes about the company and I also look out for something like that.

  • 5/5 Stephanie B. 2 years ago on Google
I went for the first time to experience the Christmas show with friends. We were cheering and having a great time! So actors were swinging and jumping and flipping all over the ship. Wow, they have some energy! Glad I went!
