Really great place to go for a quick bite at a good price. I paid under $10 for my drink and 4 small (but not too small) tacos. I was suggested to have the chicken tacos by the cashier. She made a great suggestion! To-go packaging was sturdy and it only took about 8-10 mins for my order to be complete. They had indoors and patio space available. On the patio they do have heaters available for when it gets cold. Utensils were in the bag and they asked if you want green or red sauce when you order so you won't forget! The cashier was so sweet! Will be back when I go to medical appointments down that way. They have potato tacos for vegetarians too! Only suggestion I have is if you want more than one salsa, ask for it!

My First impression walking up to the door was that this business has been here for a decade or more and not maintained. Once inside that feeling is repeated. At first it wasn't clear if it was purposely set up to be dilapitated or was just neglected. After placing a small togo order we almost sat at a table to wait. But the tables looked very old and felt dirty. Looking around there is a rusted metal wall and features that look like broken shelves and fixtures. I think these things were on purpose. But I could quickly see the the front door was dirty with hand smuges. Very dirty. There was a glass front beverage cooler that was equally dirty. Fithy floor, walls, excetra. The cashier didn't seem to care if we were there. She said it would be just a second. She walked away and someone else took our order. The food was almost average. Watery beans with little flavor. I got the baja shrimp burittto. The couple of shrimp in the burrito were good. But most of it just tasted like a bland rice and bean burrito. If it seemed cleaner I would try another dish. But this isn't the case.

Hole Mole is a decent beachy-tiki type space with outdoor seating, for an early (breakfast through lunch) meal, to me. I experience good customer service during my visit, a somewhat busy time. I order the Vegi Burrito which is very good. All non-Vegan ingredients are replaceable by Vegan ingredients like beans. I really enjoy my satisfyingly filling meal. I dine in with the burrito though think it may need more time on a grill/in a toaster oven to ensure it holds for anyone trying to save the burrito for later since the wrap is soft with juicy-mushy type ingredients. The sauce is more of a flavorful spicy than a hot-tingly spicy.

Their name, Hole Mole, gives you a hint what they are about. The shrimp and fish are popular. But I stick with classic. I will try some of their fish dishes next time. But their chicken mole burrito, is the great meal!!

This is NOT a MOLÉ restaurant. There's no molé sauce. The Chicken Molé Bowl uses chicken cooked in molé, but that's it. No side of molé sauce, nada, nothing. BUT, the food we got was good and tasty. The tortillas mais were served steamy hot, ready to have our Chicken Molé stuffed into them. For $10, no molé is a deal breaker for us.

They purposefully didn’t put rice and beans in my order, which I’m confused about. I ordered the plate that had two Baja fish tacos and two brisket tacos, it’s supposed to come with rice and beans as well as a Chile. They’re out of chiles which I knew and was fine with, but when I got home I saw there were no rice and beans, instead there were just chips. Not even salsa to go with the chips. Plain, dry chips. I didn’t even get salsa for my tacos. I called and asked if they were out of rice and beans, they said no. They just didn’t put them…

Please don't go here if your black. The main cashier doesn't like black folks. The breakfast is not good as the other two hole mole In. Long beach. The cook is speaking all over your food as she is preparing it. Ugh. The other two restaurants treat you like a customer instead looking at the color of your skin.

This place is a Gem if you can find a hole mole and you're a fan of fish tacos this is a must try. These are some of the best tacos around and extremely affordable especially in today's economy. Every time I've gone in the customer service is genuine and friendly not forced. I've been to three locations and each one has been outstanding. Wait times are reasonable food is excellent and service is top notch it's worth driving a ways to get this kind of quality. Your taste buds won't regret it.

I usually dont give bad reviews unless they're warranted. For gen Z; this place was mid. The cashier with tattoos on her right arm was rude. She seemed annoyed when I asked about the menu. (My first time here) The cashier didn't let me order one bean taco and one potatoes taco she said I had to order two separate orders. She didn't let me order the surf and turf combo plate. They were out of brisket and several other items on the menu. I ended up going with a shrimp burrito. The shrimp wasn't seasoned at all, beans too salty, and felt like they had been sitting all day and dried up. The tortilla felt super old and flaky. I ate in the outdoor patio area, and it smelled so bad. Their trash is overflowing, and it smelled terrible. I do not recommend this place. Bad service. The food is mediocre. UPDATE: This place gave me stomach issues worse than Chipotle and Taco Bell combined.

Been coming for years and still love it. Yummy fish tacos and my favorite is their tiny crunchy carnitas tacos! Their rice and beans are usually spot on, too, except for the occasional "rice is too greasy." But it's rare. I like getting extra rice and beans and eat them the next day. Prices are very cheap compared to other places. Will continue going!

Stopped by 7-11, and spied Holy Mole in the parking lot. On a whim, decided to give it a go. I had chicken mole with rice in a bowl that came with a side of warm tortillas. My wife had fish tacos. Food was excellent, and we chose to dine on the spacioud outside patio. Staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and Spanish guitar songs played in the background. Really a great experience, that could only have been improved with an ocean view.

Just ate at this place. It’s cheap food but they have no vegetarian/vegan options. The rice is made with chicken lard, the cashier told us even their hot sauce has chicken in it. Come on guys, it’s 2022 about time you had options for vegans.

This place has been consistently providing delicious food for years. We definitely enjoy Taco Tuesdays here! The fish tacos are incredible. Definitely has to be the top 3 in all the restaurants we've been to and we've traveled to and eaten at 48 states in the US so far! #foodiesforlife

Ordered via Uber Eats and it arrived pretty quickly. I really liked the fish taco. It was crispy, the sauce gave it a nice balance, and it was garnished very well with lots of onions, cilantro, and cabbage. The rice also wasn’t bad. The fries were seasoned but a little thick for my preference. My favorite thing though were the giant roasted chilis! 😋

Very surprised with how delicious this Mexican counter service chain was. Definitely beats out a lot of other spots, prices were reasonable and we couldn’t believe how large the burritos were. Back patio felt a bit private from the the front of the restaurant that shares a lot with a 7/11.

Good street Mexican fare, the burritos are excellent and the nachos were really good, too. Be careful with the yellow peppers if you're afraid of the heat, they're not mild.
