Great park right by the beach. Facilities were good, nice big pool with cafe and bar. Pool was a little murky so would be good to see it cleaner. Our particular spot for our van was a total PIA to access. Very small spot with a big van in from and another car parked across the grass access road. Told both the owner of the car and reception about it but neither did anything. Would have been good to see staff address it.

We used Murramarang Resort to organise our wedding ceremony and we had a fantastic experience. In the week leading up to and the day of our wedding the weather was very unpredictable. Breearna and Rob did an amazing job of making sure we got the ceremony we wanted. We are very grateful for their flexibility and in the end we had an amazing ceremony on the headland of Cookies beach. I would highly recommend Murramarang resort for your wedding, they will go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience!

I’m going to start by saying this is my favourite place, my happy place. Been coming here for 20 years. As a single mum it’s a real luxury that I afford my family because I love it so much. It’s expensive but I scrimp and save to come a couple of times a year. The updates over the years have been amazing. The grounds are perfect, the heating of the pool is a great addition. The food at the bistro is delicious. I notice the cabins are all being repainted again, they look great but I think the money could be better spent updating the bathrooms that are really showing their age. Our latest visit we stayed in a forest villa. It had a really bad smell which I think may be coming from the heater. The screen door was off its hinges and the blinds were grubby and broken in some places. The beds though were super comfy. Thanks as always for the hospitality as usual the staff were lovely.

It was an exceptional stay for a weekend getaway with my family, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived late night, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service that lasted throughout our entire stay. One of the standout features of this beach resort is the wide array of activities available for children(even over the weekend). My kid had an absolute blast exploring the kids' activities at the kids club. Whether it was engaging in arts and crafts, joining in on beach games like sand castle championship, my child was thoroughly entertained and never wanted to leave! The cleanliness of the resort was truly impressive. Every nook and cranny seemed to be looked after, which contributed to an overall sense of tranquility and relaxation. The resort's amenities left us wanting for nothing. The beachfront location was breath-taking. My kid spend hours building sandcastles and strolling along the shore. The staff members were not only attentive and efficient but also genuinely friendly and approachable. Every request was met with a smile, and they were always ready to offer assistance. We cannot wait to return for another memorable stay in the near future!

We came as a family of five and our beachfront cabin had a strong smell on arrival. We tried airing it in the afternoon but the smell was worse the next day and had begun to smell clearly like a dead animal. The maintenance and cleaning staff were friendly and suggested we could move rooms, but given we were checking out the next day it didn't feel worth the effort, particularly moving with young kids, who weren't too troubled by the smell either. The grounds staff found a dead rat down the side of the cabin that was likely the problem. What was really disappointing was that the reception staff were totally unapologetic and wouldn't even give us a late check-out, despite the fact that (you would hope) they weren't going to be checking another family into that cabin in its state that day anyway. Overall, it's a beautiful resort but our experience of the service and management was very disappointing.

Recently I stayed with a group event. The location and facilities where great. The snakes, ticks and bore water all add to a memorable experience. Unfortunately when checking out early I left an item of value behind. When I realized the morning after my return home I contacted reception who said they would check with housekeeping. The enquiries with housekeeping went on for a few days and it was confirmed the item was not located. I know 100% the item would have been noticeable was left behind. This should have been handed in by housekeeping for pick up or post to me as guest. This unfortunately did take the shine off my stay and has me asking questions about security. I contacted Murramarang by email asking for a response and they have not even answered my email. Very poor customer service.

Accustomed to this campsite for a long time, cabins or campsite, I am very disappointed with this weekend,14 October 2023. I am posting this review, hoping that this will change very quickly. The prices have increased, no worries, it’s understandable, summer is coming. In this case it is not conceivable that the barista area, coffee not very good, poor order taking etc. The large common room (camping area) the very dirty floor, as well as the barbecues (rusty which deserves to be changed, were not clean). We had to complain for someone to come and clean. (the floor only, neither the tables nor the barbecues - disappointing) The toilets and showers were full of sand, cleaning morning, noon and evening would have been reasonable, given how busy there were this weekend. I understand that there are new staff, but perhaps training and getting used to things quickly is necessary to avoid these inconveniences. I hope to no longer have these inconveniences on my next stay.

We spent a few nights camping during the Christmas period at this place, definitely highly recommended! Their kids program was fantastic and our kids looked forward to visiting it everyday. The wild kangaroos are great, just need to beware of poo everywhere 😁 the food at the restaurant was great too!

Beautiful location, great beach access. Great facilities, heated pool takes the edge off winter swims. Awesome poolside bar. Kids loved the wildlife and the go-carting around the park.

Absolutely stunning, located on a quiet beachfront cove. Child friendly with heaps to keep the little ones happy and occupied. Beautiful pool, games and bar/restaurant area. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are clean and fitted out with everything you need for a weekend away or even longer. We’ve been a few times as a family and will keep coming back in the years to come.

I had a wonderful stay here a couple of weeks ago. I stayed on a powered site, so can't comment on the rooms, but the amenities, and facilities - and staff were fantastic ☺️ And what a stunning location!... Even in Winter! The camp kitchen was very clean and well equipped, and the toilets and showers were spotless. The only tip I have here is that there are old coin powered hot shower payment boxes in the showers - the showers are actually free ☺️ I will definitely be back when the weather is a bit warmer to enjoy the pool and beach 🤗

Amazing place, there were a couple of hiccups as the last people that stayed had systematically trashed the park but the small issues that we had were fixed straight away. They were so apologetic even though it was beyond their control. The park and location are fantastic. It's only small which is great in the middle of a national park. I hope that it stays a lesser known location as this is a part of its charm. Also be aware that you will need to bring your own drinking water.

We stayed in a beachfront cabin. It was very nice to fall asleep to the sound of the waves lapping just outside the window. A very nice out-of-the-way location, great for beach walks or just a quiet getaway. The staff were very helpful with the entry code which didn’t work when we arrived, and had the issue sorted within a few minutes. Overall, a very nice place to stay and I’ll definitely come back again.

Loved this place so much to do and see, bush walking, beach only steps away from the resort. Amazing cabins , huge caravan sites and loads of wildlife to greet you in the park. The kids club is excellent, the pool was quite cold but would be fantastic in summer. The happy hour and restaurant was so good. Loved the fishing on the main beach and the bush walking tracks into the national park.

We stay in forest villa during the school holiday. Rooms were very spacious and clean beds. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils. Bathroom was very clean. Kangaroos are roaming around freely inside the resorts. Kids really enjoyed watching and feeding kangaroos and birds. Beach is inside the resort and is very easily accessible by walk. We got to see some kind of snake resting on the bush in the beach area. We also saw whale and dolphin on the beach. Resort kept the kids occupied by conducting activities every 2 hours like bingo family game , tug of war , movie night , disco night , sand castle competition many more. Kids also got enjoy free breakfast through kids club. Lots of area for kids to cycle. Swimming pool and surrounding area could be kept more clean. Very day spent inside the resort is worth the money. We will be visiting again for sure.

Great views, Decent activities, surrounding wildlife is great. The Cabins need a little bit of work eg. the bathrooms had a few cockroaches. overall pretty great place to have a holiday.

Lovely Beach side villa , impressed with location and general facilities I have been coming to Murramarang for many years as a grandparent with my grandchild. Unfortunately this time there was a nauseating smell pervading the villa , we could not locate the smell but it was off putting .Also three meal choices were so oily they could not be consumed, one was the fries, they were soaked in oil , the buffalo wings had a thick layer of oil in the takeaway container we could eat neither , The pizza we ordered was limp with oil and we attempted but could only have two bites it was so disgusting. We were totally disappointed as well as hungry.

Have just finished 6 nights on a powered van site. We actually saw this park on Sydney weekender and thought we would give it a try. What a wonderful place to stay. Location excellent, right on the beach. Amenities spotless, reception staff lovely. Have thoroughly enjoyed staying here and Will definately stay again. Can highly recommend to all.

Love this place! I’ve stayed here before in a powered van site and more recently in an ocean view villa. The park itself is well laid out with plenty of open space and room to move around freely without being on top of your neighbours. There’s a variety of different accommodation options to suit every budget with a pool, play ground, bistro and take away on site. Kangaroos also roam around the grounds freely. Prices are great and it’s right on the beach so you can’t go wrong.
