We frequently go to our lady of the island, it is a most peaceful beautiful place to be. You can attend mass, walk stations of the cross, rosary walk, just to mention a few things then the gift shop,it’s amazing they have everything. We have gotten many gifts there through the years,wedding,communion,confirmation,birthday,and everyone is friendly and kind u are always greeted with a smiling face. You must go experience our lady of the island. I promise you, you will be happy u did.. GOD BLESS!!!

I go the Shrine of Our Lady of the Isand often to meditate and pray. There's a nice gift shop and cafe restaurant also.

On March 22 my daughter mailed some samples of her saint illustrations to the shrine. On March 25, the shrine called and left a message stating that they were interested in possibly selling her illustrations in the gift shop. She was very excited since she is shy and doesn't like to put herself out there, but I convinced her. She was told in an email that they would get back to her for a meeting date after Easter. She reached out several times and no response. Everyday she would check her emails to see if there was a meeting date, but nothing. My question is why would the shrine reach out and not follow up? We are all busy but it only takes a minute of time to reply to an email. Our church pews are pretty empty every weekend, especially regarding young people. How many 24 year olds are spending hours illustrating saints? Not many. Why would the shrine not want to foster a young person interested in the faith? Unfortunately, at this point, She feels that it would have been better if the shrine had not reached out at all ,expressing interest, if they were not going to follow through and disappoint her. Since the secretary hasn’t responded to my emails or my daughters I figured maybe they would respond to a Google review like they have to other peoples comments. John Dockswell

Always a beautiful place to go when you need to be in prayer. Was able to get Mass card for a dear friend who passed. Mass cards for living also available. Gift shop has large variety of Rosary beads.

The experience was amazing, we can't wait to go back. Everything is clean and beautiful life like. The station of the cross was was so moving, I loved the life like saints Patrick, Francis etc. BEAUTIFUL

Do you love Jesus? This is the place to come and see each station Jesus walked carrying the cross he was to be murdered on. It's a beautiful walk to each station and each station has an explanation of what you're looking at. It's just very peaceful very beautiful out there and you can feel the Holy Spirit all around when you're walking the path to each of the stations. And the gift shop has a huge selection of religious things I bought a couple of bracelets and a cross to hang on my neck and a really nice St Christopher that actually has the United States Air Force symbol on the back I found that to be very interesting because I served in the Air Force for 22 years so I had to have it obviously. Yes I highly recommend coming here.

After coming here 40 years and seeing Our Lady erected on the Rock... no one can embrace the true majesty and wealth Our Lady has given us, and Our Wonderful priests Fr Pete and Fr. Hue.

Absolutely should be a shrine that everyone. I have been living in Florida for the last 10 years and the one place I miss most is The Shrine to Our Lady of The Island. Should be a must visit for all tourists and residents.

This time we just went to gift shop. It's has Christmas nativities, angels etc. It is a lovely shop. I would tell anyone looking for a special gift to give it a try.

It’s a beautiful place, my Devotion to our Lady of Velankanni India has brought me to this shrine. We reached at 4:30 traveling all the way from NEWYORK. My wife, Children and elders who travelled with us wanted to use the restroom. The restroom was closed. I went and requested the staff, my wife pleaded it was an emergency, she said the restroom closes at 4 pm and we cannot help you. We know what happened too those women who traveled all the way from NEWYORK and could not use the restroom. The Priest incharge was also there and just a spectator. If the Restrooms was closed at 4pm, simultaneously you should have closed the gates of the shrine and the church at 4pm. Why was it open. When you cannot understand your own, practice what you preach, be an example to others. The place is beautiful, peaceful and the stations. The people are not. I’m sorry, I had to share my experience.

Mass is wonderful. Grounds are beautiful. Perfect!

Nice quiet simple retreat for an hour or so. The religious shop is much more than expected, with many items. The only thing I felt was that I wish there was more to view, to spend more time there. I understand this is not a place like an attraction, but just wanted more statues of Saints to see, with interesting details on them.

My husband and I been there several times for different celebracions. It's a beautiful and very peaceful place. I would say that the presence of God is really felt it Also I love the gift shop. I have bought catholic books and the Saint Joseph statue. Products are great and the people are very friendly.
