Very nice food. We came for a getaway. The club is a short walk from us. We didn't expect much but what a surprise. Full of flavour. Recommend meat platter for two. It's a big portion. Their woodfire pizza is awesome. 😍😍

Beautifully refurbished. Enjoyed our dinner put on the balcony. Excellent food, especially the seafood platter. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

Our new favourite club and restaurant! Three visits so far this week - twice in two days - and the food has been delicious every time. Sitting on the big lounge chair chatting with friends is so relaxing. The beef ragu pasta is perfectly cooked, and some of the best pizza you will find anywhere. Hugely recommend.

Lovely spot for lunch, visited with a member and we enjoyed a great family lunch. Great view over the course whilst we tucked into some super tasty food. Next time it’ll have to be following a cheeky 9 holes.

Very nice club. It’s going to be gorgeous when the renovations are complete. It’s always a gamble when going to eat at a club. The food here is sensational. We had pork ribs (so tender it fell off the bones), pork cutlet (divine!) chicken schnitzel and beef burger for the tin lids. Love love LOVED it. Definitely coming back when we are in the area. Thank you for great service and great food!

We came for dinner on Saturday on a weekend getaway. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is of high quality and decent size. Ordered a fried seafood platter for 2 and everything was delicious. Very good value for money!

They serve some of the best Oysters I have ever had! Interior looks amazing. We ate here twice over our stay at batemans. Would return again. Only reason for 4 stars is the second night we was pressed for a place to sit and a few problems with the order but it was quickly fixed (kitchen was busy) Would recommend and return again.

I would like to express my respect for the outstanding job Nick does at the ordering counter for the restaurant. He is without doubt the shining light for the restaurant in his professional attitude and manner in fulfilling his job role. He is courteous, polite and handles the pressure of a busy restaurant with ease. Club Catalina is lucky to have such a wonderful staff member.

What a fantastic experience. 4 stars from me. Lose a star because no table service at all and deserts are average. Cleanliness Very clean. It was a busy night and they kept it clean throughout. Temperature Perfect temperature. I get cold quickly and usually sit with jumper and jacket. But not here. I sat, very comfy, on my t-shirt. Loved it. And the food doesn’t go cold in 3 minutes as it’s a correct temp inside. Loudness Not loud at all. It’s a large venue with carpet and well sound proofed setup. I could talk and hear without yelling. Service None. You order at the bar and get a buzzer. You are the waiter and doing all the leg work. Tables aren’t cleared very quickly which is a shame. Staff Friendly and pleasant. Attentive and helpful. We needed a box for our left over pizza and they were very accomodating and brought one for us. Well done. Food Top class and priced well. It’s still pricey but food is expensive nowadays so it’s to be expected. My steak was $38 with not many fries and very little salad but it didn’t matter because the meat was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Recky has the fish & chips: excellent 👌 top marks. Deserts are average, I don’t recommend. Pizza The pizza is excellent. Very VERY good and tasty. The dough is fresh and fluffy. Bar Friendly staff and knowledgeable on drinks. Good selection of drinks. Return? Yes, would definitely come back and I would recommend it.

Our hotel reception recommended us 3 restaurants one of them is CATALINA. We walk in without reservation and if you want to seat at the CAFE area you need to do self service. The oysters seems small but actually was really fresh and sweet, good 👍🏿 The prawns is tight and fresh , a bit salty recommend as well! The beef cheeks is the best one I have eaten recently, tender, soft, flavorful and the creamy mashed was good with the beef sauce! Highly recommended! The pizza is baked on wooden fire, good, but not thin and crispy as I was expected. Over all we love the food very much and the quantity and quality are all good!

The food is so delicious, they use very fresh ingredients to cook food, oyster and tiger prawn are so nice. I asked the steak to medium rare, and they really made it! They use good quality beef eye fillet, make the steak so thick and so tasty, the inner part got very tender and juicy taste. Pork rib is also very yummy, the meat is so soft, can split if from bone easily. And can taste smoky flavour with the perfect BBQ juice, not too strong also not too bland. Besides all these, each dish portion is huge, we ate a lot, every one is so full and satisfied. They provide free takeaway box which is delightful.

Came here for lunch with my young family prior to playing the front 9. Restaurant and facilities: The menu is exactly what I expected for a regional establishment. What I didn't expect was the extra service provided from the staff such as table service for drinks. Was a nice little touch. The food was well priced and everyone was catered for. Golf: The course was absolutely fantastic and was presented extremely well. The staff at the pro shop were very friendly and accommodating. The fairways and greens are some of the best I have seen. I have played at more expensive courses that weren't as nice as this. Keen to come back.

Catalina is a challenging golf course, with mostly tight fairways and fierce bunkering. You don't want to miss the green! The course is in fantastic condition, the fairways and greens are expertly manicured and I was especially impressed with the bunkers, all being perfectly manicured and full of fluffy white sand. The pro shop staff were super nice.

Went for lunch was very nice and reasonably priced. I have a disability and am on a mobility scooter. No problems and easy access. Only problem was upon entry the door person was a bit heavy on allowing us in. We were with a club member and my partner had no photo ID and we were made to feel like criminals for her not having any.

What a lovely club,! We started with drinks on the verandah overlooking the golf gourse and the enjoyed a nice meal , the Seafood Platter easily fed both of us and was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast the next morning was a little hectic but the Eggs Benedict didn't disappoint.

A great atmosphere and place to kick back and chill for both locals and visitors. The service is always friendly and polished. My last visit, I had 18 guests with 4 people last minute ad ons. I rang in the early afternoon to inform them and their phone service was impeccable and luckily our booking could be extended. My experience later involved a couple more phone calls to organise my party of 18 to use their complimentary shuttle to pick us up from nearby accommodation. Every time I deal with the Catalina Country Club, I have repeatedly received friendly service . Food and drinks are of great quality. Food and drink service was at table and people were able to pay individually at the table for their meals.
