Absolutely love the idea of this restaurant serving home grown, sustainable and seasonal produce! Even the lettuce was delicious! The tomatoes so sweet and juicy! I missed out on the waffle from the menu( breakfast) so opted for the polenta ( which I'm not usually a fan of as it is often bland) but this one is divine! Wished we could've tried the lunch menu- definitely a good reason to go back! Service is wonderful as well! My partner and I also visited their garden and the chook pen, cannot help but feel so relaxed walking around! There's also a florist and a cooking school here, though not sure if it is currently running Highly recommend a visit to this place👍👍👍👍👍 Date visited 28/01/2022

My first time for Breakfast at Milk Haus. The surrounds are lovely and it is worth it. What a treat. What a great experience. Amazing. Thanks Milk Haus.

Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here. Everything was super tasty and different to the usual breakfast cafe options. Staff super nice and atmosphere was perfect. A little on the expensive side with our long black coffee $5.50 each and Turkish eggs with a side of bacon came to $37.95 (was essential since there wasn’t many options with meat)

What a delightfully delectable divine experience. Lunch on a Saturday - unrushed, warm and friendly service matched by promptly paced plates from the kitchen. Every staff member was smiling and charming even from the open plan kitchen - no panicked or temperamental chefs here. Locally grown produce from the garden you can walk around. Have a cheeky cocktail. Don’t miss the desserts. We wanted to explore more of the menu. Totally satisfied and entertained - definetly coming back and exploring more. Cannot rate high enough. Table 7 ❤️

Oh my goodness this place just gets better and better. Came for a breakfast that would equal my last supper this morning before climbing Pigeon house mountain- eggs, fritters, fresh asparagus and peas and herbs from the garden- service to rival a three hatted restaurant and joy joy joy emanating from the kitchen and floor staff. What a place. What a treat. What an incredible dining experience. Amazing.

Where do I start. The Milkhaus is set in an old cheese factory, rustic and has great ambience. All fresh ingredients is grown on site. The menu is based around what vegetables are in season. It’s all quality. The food was delicious, as was dessert absolutely loved it. I also had the best cup of coffee there to., Booking is essential it’s not a place you can turn up and expect to find a table. A real must if down on the South Coast.

A must visit if you're in town! Farm to table cafe that serves a hearty and delicious meal. Definitely a highlight of our trip, and I can't wait to visit again.

Gorgeous, tasty food and great locally sourced menu, thoughtfully put together. Would highly recommend - do not miss if you are near Milton! Service also great. We all went for something different on the menu but our daughter's tofu in home made miso with veggies was an absolute standout (even above the boys' meat meals!). Best tofu we ever tasted, and I'm not normally a huge fan.. Menu changes with the seasons and availability. Must visit!

Lovely space and lovely food. This was our second visit and we will come back. My only suggestion is it would be nice to be able to sit in the sun in Winter!

Really good fresh simple food done well. Most of the produce comes from their own adjacent garden which you are welcome to wander through - but don't pick. The setting is rustic and relaxed with both indoor and outdoor seating. The smoothies are terrific. There is onsite parking but it can be quite muddy after rain.

We stayed in Milk Haus for Xmas holiday. The place is absolutely amazing! They have a big beautiful garden in the front and back. We loved the food and the breakfast. The hosts are so lovely and generous. We would definitely come back!

I ordered the Drunken Tofu and it was by far the best meal I have had in a very long time. I just felt like it was exactly what my body has been waiting for. Everything was cooked to perfection, thank you so much. I was in the on site veg garden before lunch and saw the chef cutting spring onions only to find them in my dish - you can't get any fresher than that! My daughter has declared her cheese toastie as "amazing" and wanted to order another one! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back, til next time....

Couldn’t fault it. Easy to reserve a table on line, although we weren’t sure on what the seating areas were……next time we'll try the kitchen garden…(that’s maybe the courtyard on the online booking choices) Food was fresh, interesting, innovative and true to the menu descriptions. Service very friendly and efficient….so Thank you!

Delightful spot and delicious food! The cafe is bright and airy with a selection of local produce and wares on sale. Coffee is great. Smoothies are delicious. Staff friendly. We had the waffles (amazing) and the polenta (delicious) and came back the next day for another serve of the waffles (still delicious) and the roast tomatoes (scrumptious). To top it all off, we took a stroll around the cooking garden afterwards and enjoyed the beautiful vegetable garden, the butterflies and the birds. Compulsory stop for breakfast, brunch and lunch lovers.

My third time for Breakfast at Milk Haus. This time had the Charred Broccolini & it did not disappoint. The service here is just wonderful & we were made to feel very special. The surrounds are lovely with cows mooing while you enjoy your food. We drive 40 minutes to get there & it is worth it every time. Thanks Milk Haus.

@milkhausmilton What a lovely little spot here in the South Coast of NSW. I visited my grandmother the other day and we came here for lunch. It’s a small menu but what they do, they do well. We both got the summer tart which was DELICIOUS, they grow a lot of their own food outside but again, lovely little cafe. Recommend visiting if you’re coming down to the south coast.

Really enjoyed this place, have been eating in Milton Main Street for years but this is not too far away but offers a totally different vibe. Enjoyed the food (has some GFO) and a walk around the garden and pottery shop afterwards. Plenty of parking.

Yesterday - I had an appointment at Milton and thought to try breakfast/brunch at the Milkhaus for the first time. My husband and I usually come for lunch. I made an online reservation to discover a crowd of other diners arrival. Eventually I was seated away from the many babies and families dining - many thanks and much appreciated, as I was travelling solo. I tried the garden fritters, but have to admit to being a bit disappointed. They seemed dry to me. Perhaps adding a bit more grated zucchini might address this issue. Otherwise, everything was fine as per usual. Thanks to the busy team - serving and cooking. A reservation is essential and don't be in a hurry are amongst my recommendations. 9 months ago - Excellent food, more work to do on the service, but we weren't in a hurry. We enjoyed our leisurely lunch and look forward to returning. The Ocean Trout was a highlight and is recommended.

A very cool place with nice coffee and great food. They make and use their own pottery. You can buy some in the shop next door. They have their own garden next door and they grow a lot of what you eat. I had Gozoleme and my wife had these rocotta dumplings which were light and delicious. I have not enjoyed or even often even finished, a side salad so much. Even the lettuce tasted great and i usually can't be bothered to eat it. Its crazy fresh food. Nice art workes and decorations in a former barn or farm house (i don't know! But very cute) Staff were lovely. Thank you!

Always a delight! From the food and staff to the gorgeous leafy grounds, this is one of my favourite spots to eat and take my friend visiting from afar. They are always so impressed by Milkhaus and its beauty.

Milk haus food was fresh with their farm right behind the cafe. Oat milk flat white was extremely yummy. Quaint spot tucked away behind the countryside, lovely vibes, amazing experience!
