Visiting while my son played football. Popped over the canal bridge to a nice little cafe which sold hot breakfast food and cakes. Nice friendly staff, busy with runners early morning

A perfect place to the family for a walk, taking in all the different birds. Several bird hides to get that perfect photo of birds and nature

It is nice to see the old sports changing rooms still standing, l welded this back in the 80's...my welding did improve before I retired

This is a lovely walk by the river. The recreation ground is kept well and is used for various things. Lots to see from a nature point of view. There is also the Heritage cafe with its little museum and beautiful garden. Attenborough Nature Reserve also nice to walk to.

Decent pitches until bad rain or the river floods, very cold with the cross winds by the river.

Passed on a walk by the canal to the river Trent. Walked the dog and met many sociable people and other dogs. Unfortunately whilst using common sense and socially distancing in narrow areas this did not seem to apply to some cyclists who are obviously above the requirements of current behaviour. Pity but not to detract from a very pleasant walk.

Visited on a Saturdaý morning to attend Beeston parkrun. Car park spacious and dry surace not grass or gravel. Toilets open in pavilion before 9a.m Cafe and Heritage centre nearby as well as Sports clubs and Marina wirh Boathouse Cafe and riverside bar. Situated between river and canal there are paths around the field for walking or running

My son played an Under 16 football match here. The pitces are quite good though some do have noticeable natural undulations. There is a changing room building with toilets. There is also a good size car park. It is adjacent to the canal so if you don't want to watch the football you can walk the towpath in either direction.

Nice place but the surrounding areas had much trash. Today cleaned Simon memorial place, but we don't have enough bag for total clean. If anyone have time can see Kingfisher and another nice birds near the River.

Difficult to find, pitches were muddy but you can expect that in winter. Playing surface on the 9 vs 9 pitch was not flat several big dips

👍 Beautiful park all year round. It just surprises me a park that big and so well attended does not offer one single toilet or baby changing facility.

👍👍 Beautiful park! Lovely play area for the kids, my toddler loved the sand pit. Plenty of green open space to let the kids loose and easy to get to from the town centre. They do have toilets that are advertised as open until sundown but as we came out of the park around 3.45pm, they had been locked.
