Not only is this place great for good quality at low prices I would really like to commend the staff. On the 23 august around 7.30pm I was shopping with my daughter on her birthday, she lost a £20 in the works and asked me to see if it had been handed in. To my surprise the young man behind the counter had seen it on the floor and picked it up and gave it to his supervisor for lost property. There are still some good honest people around! He was a great guy and it really made my daughters day

Excellent service at the till from the lovely people that work there. Only marred by a poor manager that moved me and my stuff aside while waiting for an order without talking to me at all. Could have used another till and worn work appropriate clothes

If you’re a huge book worm like me, then you need to head over to the works in merry hill! They have a huge selection to choose from, including book Tok selection. I have been looking for 3 books in particular and been in quite a few works shops, but had no luck until going inside the merry hill one. If you’re after a festive read, I guarantee you won’t leave disappointed with the amount available.

Found a unicorn squishy for £4, I'd been after one for ages and the price was much better than in other shops!! Its very soft and I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was candyfloss scented when I opened it!! Lots of great products for anyone who loves unicorns. I got a lovely unicorn snow globe recently as well from here. Great quality products and some really unique special items!

Honestly, this is my "go to" place when my children have a birthday party to attend. So much selection of affordable 'gifts.' Anything from books/book sets, fidget toys, crafty bits, stationary and all around things you may not already be thinking of...I'm seldom disappointed. Plus, with the reward card system, I earn points for cashback off purchases, which comes in handy. This is one place that is a frequent stop when I'm just wandering the mall and it's not unusual to use it as 'leverage' with my children to get them a little something for good behaviour.

Yhe mamager was ridiculous! Cant believe she even has that job. I asked if i could have a discount on an item that was last in stock but was damaged (more than just the packaging) and not only did the manager come across as patronising with the way she said no they cant there will be more out there, when there wasnt.. but when returning to the til with no item as there really wasnt any left she said to the girl on the til in a very sarcastic manner "pass it back that will sell with in 10 minutes" when i know my sepf its been there for weeks as i spotted it before and returned today buy it. Clearly hadnt been sold due to the state. Appalled with the way this manager comducted her self. I presumed she was just a shop assistant as when i first arrived in the store she was openly complaining to her staff about not being able to wait til mext year so she can leave the boring job. Not the way a manager should speak to her staff. Worst attitude Ive came across from staff in merry hill and that says a lot!
