Very large park, lots of paths, popular dog walking spot. A bit soggy in winter but otherwise great!

A really lovely space to take your dog or simply go for a walk, especially when the sun is shining. There's a cycle path, a running circuit and plenty of open space to enjoy. There's a playground, skatepark and also a cafe, but opening times vary for this. Still a beautiful place, and a bonus that it's not far from Long Eaton town.

Lovely clean park with an actual concrete skate area as well. During the main summer months there is also an outdoor splash area with a shop selling ice creams.

A great park Which serves the Long Eaton Community. Well kept and a lovely open space. It was actually also designed to act as a flood plane to protect the town. Look out for the banks and moats around some of the site. Not sure about late night activities in some of the more remote parts?

Really lovely walk to the park from the leisure centre car park. If you have a toddler, take a buggy. 2 parks, one for toddlers and one for bigger kids with a zip line. Toilets and cafe were there, open in November. Just beware the fields on both sides, when it's been raining they flood.

A big park, with plenty of shade under trees, paths to walk on, some private Tennis Courts, cafΓ© toilets and plenty always going on. Easy to get to closes around 7 pm at the weekends. Friendly and nice place to visit.

Great place to meet up and walk the dogs. Beware of the cycle track as they don’t move out of the way. The cycle track isn’t for pedestrians which I didn’t realise but all in all a fab place for walkers cyclists runners kids and mums and dads. Massive outdoor space a fab place to have some out door fun or to just sit quietly. Highly recommended for all.

I was very impressed by the variety of different things on offer in this park, which was well kept, clean and big! There's a leisure centre, skate park, cafe, a beautiful area with water for kiddies and a lot of space to kick a ball πŸ˜€

What a great park. A great place to visit for all ages. Well looked after, plenty of space, generally clean and tidy. Toilets at the park cafe and at the nearby leisure centre. Large car park. A great attraction for younger children is the well used 'Splash Pad'. This is, in my opinion the best park for miles around.

Great park , huge open space and dogs loved it . Free parking was a great bonus too. Cafe was open and lovely drink . Apparently cafe only open in peak times from Easter onwards and weather dependent. Good toilet facilities.

I live in a flat across from west Park so I do not have a garden.. waking up and looking across the park is so beautiful in the morning, and my son and myself love using "our garden" to play football, have a little barbecue and explore the woods where we have multiple 'bases' for our adventures .... there is a nice playground, on site toilets and plenty of spaces where you can enjoy a picnic! 😁🌞😎

I took my grandson to play on the park while my wife and daughter went shopping, he loved the playgrounds. The splash park looks good, but it wasn't open when we visited.

Been coming here for several years now both as a gym member and for martial arts training The pool is good, the usual good supply of work out machines, the martial arts class is excellent and the staff are always very friendly Got me out of depression after my dad died and helped me shift the excess weight my comfort eating had put on I've dropped from a 55 inch waist to a 42 inch waist Definitely worth a look if you're interested in getting into something new

The park itself is very nice , great walk around for all of the family. And is well maintained , Some area's could do with attention like the skate Park has some characters in it with some inappropriate music being played .

Huge outdoor space. Popular with dog walkers and runners. Small cafe with outdoor seating. It has facilities for rugby, cricket, football, tennis, swimming, and even a baseball pitch has been marked out.

Wonderful park. Plenty of space for all. Cycle lanes, skate park, splash pad, two play areas, football areas, cricket, bandstand, brook running through it. Cafe, tennis court, nature reserve in the park, beautiful foliage. Toilets, changing areas, benches dotted around

Visited yesterday(29/08/22) with the kids and were shocked on how much this park has to offer. Wether its watching the rugby or cricket or letting the kids play on one of the many play areas. There is a tennis court, bmx track , skate park, basketball ball court, a wet play area where the kids can have fun and get soaked. We didn't do the nature walk this time. Small cafe located near the play areas which wasn't badly priced and stocked you usual snacks and drinks. I couldn't take photos of certain areas due to privacy of other families etc.

Gorgeous park, had a fabulous lunch just over looking the park on a pristine spring day, absolutely perfect

Nice grounds to walk on, lovely flowers in the soring/ summer. Some dog owners do let dogs walk off leash who are not very nice sadly so best to ask if friendly before letting your dog or family approach them! Bit thats the only downside. Lots of events held there nice community feeling

Amazing place something for everyone we normally lole to go when the water park is running. Kids love it and there is something for all ages as they have a bigger part the skate park the water park fields and the little enclosed park. Fully recommend for a family fun free day out.

Excellent place for dog walks or walks without a dog. Nice circular routes so you don't have to come back on yourself. Path all the way round so ideal for pushchairs, wheelchairs and people not too sure on their feet. There is a lovely cafe there but it's closed at the moment (December). There are a couple of parks and a splash zone which is open in the summer. Also toilet facilities. Free parking as well at West Park Leisure Centre.
