So many fabulous nature trails. Great lookouts and hides to watch wildlife from. Make the walk as long or as short as you like. Take in Attenborough village or walk to Trent Lock! Highly recommended. Nice cafe and gift shop.

A wonderful maze of wetland formed from the River Trent and excavated gravel pits. This is a bird watchers paradise. The first 30 minutes Parking is free and thereafter is £3 for the day. There is a great looking cafe that I didn't visit. There are numerous walking trails, some are suitable for wheelchairs but others would be very tricky so worth checking routes carefully before setting off.

It’s a beautiful place to visit with so many different kinds of birds and animals. There are lot of footpaths to do a nice hike. It’s very well maintained. I imagine it would be a lot more beautiful place in spring with different kind of flowers and trees coming back to life.

Another excellent location to visit in Nottingham, albeit being far away from town centre. Travelling here is easiest by car or train, bus and tram are possible but will require a further 20/30minutes walk to the reserve. The reserve itself is stunning and has many routes for people to take

Beautiful place to explore. It's great for a family day out. There is a visitor centre and cafe. Lots of bird hides if you enjoy bird watching or photography. There are lots of route choices depending on how far you wish to walk.

It is beautiful here and worth the visit. There is a little coffee shop which sells a good range of stuff and several walks you can take around the nature reserve.

I spent a most enjoyable and interesting day here. It has well laid pathways going through the varied landscape. I saw a wide variety of birdlife and took the opportunity to view them through the well appointed hides. There is a good visitors centre with a shop in selling some interesting items In addition to this there is a small cafe with good views over the reserve.

I really love this place. Convenient parking and reasonable prices, beautiful environment, tidy and easy-to-walk paths, perfect for a family walk. Different seasons offer different scenic views, and my favorite is spring when the flowering trees are especially beautiful. Sometimes, when I feel stressed, coming here for a walk makes my mood relaxed and joyful.

Beautiful nature reserve, with plenty of works for all ages and abilities. Incredible amount of wildlife to see, with hides available. Was nice to see that it is well visited but does not feel crowded. Cafe serves lovely food and cakes.

Great space for walking around the national park with 3.7 miles. Well paved road for pushing strollers. Still would be better with directions on kingfisher pathway directions. The point where you must turn left to reach the Star point is not clear. If you walk forward that point you will reach other side of the street. Parking payment is better and easy all day £3.

Wonderful nature reserve. Several different trails to follow, with hides and screens for bird watching. Excellent cafe and shop. Good information available. Car park has vehicle recognition, first 30 mins free, if staying longer you pop your registration number into the touch screen pay meter before you leave and pay £3 cash or card.

Small but beautiful nature reserve. Friendly birds that kids can watch and learn up close. Lovely trails for walks. Parking is cheap and the cafe shop is super nice. Great for kids in weekends or just a relaxing walk in the summer.

Plenty of ducks and geese, beautiful views across the reserve and the Trent river. Has also got bird watching hides that are well maintained. The weeds and the growth could do with being trimmed down a little so you can see more but also allows wildlife to flourish.

Lovely place to visit, walk and relax. Usually cycle through Attenborough Nature Reserve during my bike rides and some lovely stops where you can have refreshments. ANPR parking (£3 all day I seem to recall).

Incredible place. I took a walk here from West Bridgford along the Trent via Beeston, which is lovely treck too. Attenborough Nature Reserve is one of those places I feel very blessed to have on my doorstep. You can really make a full day out of visiting here. There's a great visitors centre with a shop and cafe, also some well maintained toilets. There's a lovely balcony and a back garden where you can enjoy your drink and food while taking in the amazing views. If you live locally and still haven't been here, you need to rectify that ASAP. But please be respectful of nature and dispose of your rubbish responsibly. It would be such a shame to see this amazing place ruined by people who don't respect nature.

Lovely place to have a walk through! Amazing park with lots of wildlife and information boards. Didn't manage to go to the cafe but the entire park was excellent.

Beautiful to walk or cycle round... although my visit today some of the paths had swans swimming on...I knew it was going to be flooded so took my wellies, one with nature!

Had a lovely time at Attenborough Nature Reserve. Enjoyable walk on the longest trail took about 2 hours, all paved paths pretty much. Decent value car park for the walk (£3 all day). Nice visitors centre as well as a cafe and pub near Beeston Lock halfway around walk for food and drink. Was really nice to visit in Autumn, the greenery was a little less grown giving beautiful views of the lakes and ponds. I would recommend visiting at sunset too as per photos, some beautiful scenery at this time of day!

It's always a pleasure coming here and can be peaceful. Most weekends this place gets busy but there is plenty of room for everyone whilst walking around. The carpark is fairly big but gets full on nice days with only £3 to pay for all day parking. Lots of different routes to take some need walking boots or wellies. Plenty to see and full of wildlife so take a camera. Restaurant, shop and toilets are nice and clean. There is a couple of bird hides you can enter if you scan the qr code. No matter when you go you will probably see something new.

One of the best walking pathways in Nottingham along with the mesmerizing sound of birds and bliss of green.canal side have long line of boats and sometimes you can spot rare migratory birds as well

Love coming here for a walk or run. Beautiful unspoilt nature reserve with chances to see wildlife you wouldn't see elsewhere! I've only taken a star off because the visitor centre could be better but it's fine.

Such a lovely place to be, staff are friendly and clearly passionate about their nature reserve. Parking is £3 for the day and you pay when you leave, if you are a regular user I do believe you can buy a one year pass for parking. Bring your camera, pack lunch and enjoy your day in the hides.

Huge park but very little to see or go to. Very limited movement freedom, just a long path with impenetrable bushes all around, hard to see any nature. Best views are available only through small windows in wooden barriers or by raising your camera above your head to overlook all the bushes that prevent you from seeing anything directly. Some paths are blocked so you have to return the same way you came, can't do a round trip. Nice nature but you can't see most of it. It's one of those places you enjoy, but only visit once as it's quite poorly managed I'd say.
