Love this place! sooo huge with sooo many activities and societies to choose from! there's everything here - swimming, wall climbing, yoga, other sports like tennis, badminton, trampoline, so many more. and ofc there's a great gym! totally recommend getting a membership if you are a uni student and are committed to availing all the benefits this place has to offer! ✨✨

Went here for to referee a fencing tournament. They have really nice facilities and a cafe. They have a cool rock climbing wall in the lobby. There is lots of natural light and tall ceilings.

Excellent, huge sports area. Sports village is the correct way to aptly describe how magnificent it is. You name the sport and the University houses it here. If you have a student sports membership and are enthusiastic about the same, this is worth it. It also hosts many taster sessions which gives you a good chance to try out all the facilities. The staff and students are very amiable and helpful.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I love it actually being here a few years and it’s the sports centre one could ask for…climbing walls, great choices of classes, swimming pool, gym, physio etc. Staff members are always friendly and helpful. It’s really great. Even during covid, they had great arrangements, guidance and stuff. However, I hate it during term time (which is most of the time)… it is ALWAYS packed. I mean always. I’ve tried to come in for the gym at 6.30am, 8am, 9am, 10am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4/5pm, 6.30pm….during the week over a few months, and the only not so busy time slot was 6.30am on Sundays. If you do weight trainings regularly/routinely, and if you’re not too bothered by having access to other facilities, I recommend you choose another gym.

We do Tumble Tots here which is excellent. The actual village is very modern and clean with helpful staff and quality facilities. Only 'lost' a star because parking is atrocious: very difficult to get a space, impossible on match days

It's not a village in the sense that there is a small corner shop, a pub, a church and a butchers. It's more a community of athletes who probably should be spending more time on their degrees which they pay so handsomely for. But they do have cross fit classes there, so at least both definitions of 'village' still have idiots in them.

Fantastic sports centre. Clean, well-kept, a huge variety of facilities. We used the AstroTurf but could see how much else there was there.

Facilities seem good, but parking is a nightmare. People parking everywhere and some repeat offenders creating safety issues and traffic blocks.

My daughters swimming lessons in David Ross, and I will recommend it for anyone asking about swimming classes👍. But I give it 3 for some reasons. The car park most of time full and you waste your time looking for a parking also it is too far away from the main door. The other reason is the parent area it is small and some people put tables in it especially in the middle as they are in a cafe that's make it more smaller and not easy to move especially if you have a stroller. I hope if they remove the tables from there to make more space or think for another option.

Very large venue with huge tatami room for martial arts practice. Lack of parking on events.

Great venue for sports events. There was lots of parking on the road outside of the building. You just have to get there earlier. The toilets are clean and the cafe has great coffee and sandwiches.

Excellent Sports complex within University of Nottingham campus. Ample parking, free for 30 mins for visitors and 2 hours for sports participants. Cafe inside with limited options for hot food.

Great sports centre. Amazing scale. So many top class facilities.

Mostly good facilities, but the staff are very hit and miss. A lot have no idea what's going on or how to do their jobs. Also parking is tricky most of the time. If you do manage to get in and enjoy the facilities without interaction with the staff it's good though.

I used the gym, it's well equipped and has friendly and helpful staff. The toilets and changing rooms are also nice. It has accessibility for wheelchairs as well as a lift

The sports centre was very well equipped, and there are loads of activities for those visiting the area even if they aren't members. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Nice sports hall, although we went for a graduation ceremony. Hall had big capacity to accommodate all students and friends and families.

What a fantastic place, it is huge, There is everything going on over 3 floors. Even a lovely cafe. Staff are friendly. If you can't find a class or a sport you like at this place you never will. Get down there and do some exercise and experience the great atmosphere 👍

DRSV is a gem at UoN, providing world class facilities to train and grow. Wonderful staff and student volunteers to help you with anything.

Nice gym with good facilities. But god the people who go to this gym have a big problem with learning to put the weight plates back on the rack when done. I'm surprised at the lack of respect some of the students have for others at this University...

👍👍 This branch of the Pure Gym chain is faultless from my experiences to date. The parking is generous and has never been an issue. Entry is easy too as an 8 digit pin unique to yourself. The choice of equipment is massive and caters for all types of workouts. I've been to several gyms and felt uncom...

😠 David Lloyd Nottingham continues to get worse as time goes on. As a health club that prides itself as being "A leading Health, Sport and Leisure provider" the standards are unacceptable. 🫤 Exceptionally busy in an evening. I would suggest the ventilation is fairly poor in the basement and there is a strong odour a lot of the time. It would be decent gym if people had any etiquette, but virtually every single piece of equipment is out of place, and the concept of putting weights back...

🫤 Two stars because getting hold of the gym is a myth. Contacted customer service on the phone was told they only deal with payment, message on social media 5 weeks later still waiting for a response. The gym it’s self is always clean and is well equipped but it’s got so busy which is great for the co...

😠 The staff have always been incredible, no flaw there... However we went today and left after 10-minutes as the new equipment and layout is absolutely diabolical. We were squatting on a 'rack' and someone wanted to use the cable (which is attached to the squat frame?). We had to offload the bar, take...
