Ok for a small shopping trip but has a lot of closed down shops. Has a market that opens a few days a week. Parking is extremely cheap and completely free if arriving after 3pm. Couple of different places to grab a coffee and snack.

A.nice shopping centre that has had a great face lift recently. Some useful shops available, like a lot of small retail areas / precincts they struggle to attract bigger brands.

So much Christmas ambience going on, really fun. The Elves which were rapping Christmas related raps were wonderful. The second hand shops had loads to choose from at very reasonable prices.

a few shops....nothing interesting. here you can come strictly for those things you urgently need and which you can find in the few shops here. I think that because of the lack of customers, there are so many empty or closed commercial spaces. As proof that most people from city go shopping elsewhere, and come here only if they urgently need something, a specific thing or just to relax with a coffee...nothing more.

Despite its name, it is still the Coalville Shopping Precinct. Looks a bit nicer since they bulldozed a couple of shops and opened it to the car park behind. Sadly needs completely flattening and rebuilding, the town deserves better.

Needs better shops and a lot of T.L.C

It's OK. Used to be great but with the hike in prices to try and get big market brands in and pushing out the independents they've lost what made them. Just like the shires of old.

Just had 3 young lads slam into my arm they were on electric scooter, they knew what they had done as I shouted after them if it had been an elderly person it would have knocked them over it will be reported

It's a little tired at the moment but what shops they have are clean and staff nice. A free parking for two hours is a bonus, and now they have opened a new way in instead of walking down that smelly ally way. Hopefully, things will get more life in the old place when new shops open

Managed to get lots of Christmas presents from Home bargains, enjoyed pottering around the charity shops and had a lovely chai latte in Insomnia.

The site was built in the early 1960s and was hit by mining subsidence in the 1970s. There are no retailers of any name in there. You walk through just people hanging around the coffee shops with nothing better to do in a town, watch totally as not kept up with the times, and let down by its council and councillors over the decades and the owners of the Belvoir retail precinct.

In the 25 years I’ve lived in Coalville there has always been empty shops in the precinct. Now even Poundland has gone. Still leaves plenty of charity and coffee shops🙄

I always like a trip to coalville not over many shops but boyes is the one to visit. There are charity shops and select for the ladies. Home bargains. Wilco and argos. It's good to get out and have a visit.

Very poor mainly charity shops lacks main shops very limited to what you can buy

It is a shame there's not the shops there that could be. It has been done up a little since new owners took over.

The new improvements have helped to upgrade this small shopping centre, but it still remains a second rate shopping area, due to there being no big name shops and outlets which make it a rather second rate experience. Coalville badly needs a good influx of retail outlets and interesting shops to bring it up to date. It was busy the day I went because the schools were in recess but that also increased the amount of scooters whizzing thru the centre at high speeds putting people at risk of collision! Such a shame as the local people are very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our visit today. Lots of shops and very nice after the centre has been updated.

Belvoir Retail has 7 charity shops plus many empty units. Instead of promoting retailers to move into the units, money is being spent on grass and seating areas. This is supposed to be a shopping complex but shoppers go elsewhere. Hardly surprising is it?

Never seems as busy as it used to be. Still has some good businesses in there though. Good fruit and veg shop, card shops, Greggs, Boots, Wilkinson's, Home Bargains, couple of coffee shops, charity shops, etc.

Precinct is ok but private company who is own precinct needs to start to be serious with health and safety and start enforcing fines because no signs is giving bad encouragement for youngsters and people who ride bikes so I just thinking about public safety not anything else Thankyou

There really isn't much scope for variety on the shopping front, but lots of nice places to grab a light snack and a good deal on household items if you know which stores and where.

Okay place visit but needs more shop to make it better

Loving the new improvements. Feels so much nicer. Just needs some of the empty shops occupying.

I like that the place is getting upgraded to a modern look. The clothing stores are not that great but for this specific area they are good. Probably with this upgrade, better clothing stores will be brought.

The seating and outside is beginning to look good, all we need now is some decent shops

Went to poundland, wilko, etc for cheap innertube etc! But cheap things are getting rare and probably returning at a higher price!

Unfortunately not alot around this shopping center unless your into charity shops or need your hair sorting out, there's plenty of takeaway food shops though! Coalville has sadly declined over the years and alot of the shops have left the site. Until the local council decides on its plans it most likely remain that way, I think the council are completely out of touch with its people on what we need in our local town.

Nearby Car park is now free for a bit which is nice but not enough shops I wanted, access is easier now they have removed a selection of the shops fronts. Indoor market needs an overhaul as dated. Not NatWest bank unfortunately either

Dismaland. Like going back to the 1960. Even as an occasional reluctant shopper it gives me no joy to visit. Homebargins is the one surprising spot. But they are moving out. Heresey for the locals to hear this. Coalville struggles to raise the quality of what it offers.

Nice range of shops, nothing stands out but did give the aspect of cared for area

  • 3/5 Mark S. 1 year ago on Google
Recent improvements, such as planters, make it more attractive than it was before. There is a Boots, a greengrocer and Birds' bakery. Apart from that it's not very inspiring.
