Great mix of branded and local businesses with plenty of parking. Wilco, Boots, Birds Co-Op plus many niche stores. Gifts, pets supplies, greengrocers, post office plus every type of take away you could wish. Casual coffee pitstops also in Costa or local options. Fabulous example of a community resource/facility

Decent place to go with a good selection of shops in there such as Co-op and Wilko’s. There is a Barbers, butchers and a couple of Cafes in there also which may appeal to some. Great parking which is free for the first 3 hours on the outside or above the centre on its roof. On the downside to me the place looks and feels very tired and has a number of empty units. Too many charity shops in there as well. It would be nice to see some new retailers In there and the whole place modernised. It’s not changed much in the time I’ve lived here which is about 25years.

Good selection of shops including Co-op food, Post office with cash machine, several barbers and toilets. Large free car park. Since my last review the bank has closed and Wilko has been replaced by B & M which, in my view, is a good exchange. There is a new branch of Shacklocks which is at ground floor level.

Very few places I visit here now. I've lived within 2 miles of this place all my life and sadly its just full of tat now. If only the owners took notice of where it is and the local surroundings. They could not only make a bigger profit, but would also have a considerably bigger and happier customer base. As with the breakdown of many towns around the country park farm has far too many charity shops.

Late lunch at Four Seasons, excellent food as usual. The sticky toffee cake was so scrumptious. Staff very helpful and friendly as always.

Sad to see so many empty units for such a lovely place. Public library is great, not open Mondays. Public loos are free and in great condition. Birds bakery was busy! Nice butchers, fruit and veg shop shop. Worth a visit.

Most shops gave level access but not all. The centre is all on the level so easy to get round via mobility scooter. Plenty of benches for sitting if you need to rest and good sized car park plus disabled spaces.

Excellent small shopping centre. Beautifully kept. To anyone interested we will need a general hardware store when Wilko closes. Possibly also a haberdashery & clothes shop Then there will rarely be a need to go shopping in Derby where parking charges are rather expensive. To the company that own the centre. Don't be so greedy, make unit rentals more affordable!

Ok if it's on your doorstep. 60s look and feel, it desperately needs updating. Too many barbers and charity shops now.

Always good for a quick visit - plenty of free parking - a shame a few businesses have left empty stores recently but clean and acceptable - what shops / coffee shops / cafes are left are well maintained

I genuinely love this little precinct, with its nice selection of charity shops and other amenities. The free parking tops it all off for me.

Only visit occasionally because I live on the opposite side of Allestree and have no car. Always find it useful and a pleasant place to have a coffee and lunch.

  • 5/5 David S. 2 years ago on Google
A great little local shopping precinct that has a wide variety of shops and always has plenty of people walking around. Free parking too which is great!

The review from Anaid Ronzon is utter nonsense. Park Farm is nowhere near the ring road and there is never problems getting out of the car park. I think they are confusing Park Farm with Kingsway Retail Park which is several miles away and totally different

  • 5/5 Anaid R. 1 year ago on Google
Hard Place to get out of. Always traffic problems leaving this retail park. I have had to challenge several tickets because I've been stuck in traffic jams trailing right back in to the car park causing me to be over the time limit for parking. Not very well designed needs a separate exit away from the very busy ring road

Park farm is a great little centre for those around the allestree area, lots of choice of shops, bars and cafes and even a real ale pub.

  • 5/5 Helen R. 2 years ago on Google
Something for everyone, good to see that most of the units are occupied now. Post office, cafés,(lemon tree is only dog friendly one), birds cakes, Wilkes, boots etc. Also, great independent pets supplies, butchers and green grocers.

Park Farm Shopping Centre was opened in October 1963 and at the time was one of the largest of its kind in Europe. The centre was designed by Burton architects William Blair and Partners and was built on farmland… hence ‘Park Farm’. Ideal place to have a display of items at 1963 prices and other historical links?

Park Farm has quite an array of shops and two coffee shops. Much nicer place to shop than Derby with an excellent butcher plus most of the shops I would use normally. Had a snack in one of the coffee shops staff there were lovely. Staff in all the shops I went in were pleasant and helpful.

Birds. Greengrocers. Great butcher's. Co-op. Fast food outlets. Coffee shops and of course the Pothole. Free parking. Just some of the things I love about our local shopping centre. Support it before we lose it.

  • 5/5 Margaret P. 1 year ago on Google
Great for breakfast at the Lemon Tree. With co-op and wilkos being there most needs are catered for without a trip into town.

  • 1/5 Ashley H. 1 year ago on Google
Hmmm, I do not receive particularly friendly vibes from this place. The whole place feels extremely antiquated and plain, almost like a life-sized 1960s dollhouse.

  • 5/5 Kat C. 1 year ago on Google
Great little local shopping place. Get most of your bits there without going In to town. Coffee shops, butchers, willow, boots, post office, birds, pet shop, co-op, barbers, card shops and a few charity shops which are good. Nice and clean too . Parking but don't overstay the alloted time as fines made.

This was my first visit to Park Farm shopping centre but was very surprised at the variety of retail units on site and from what I gathered by my interaction, the shop owners all get on very well together. There's seemed plenty of parking despite it being busy. Though i managed to get on one of the three roadside disabled bays.

Free parking. A good range of stores and independent business here. Worth a visit. Nutrition Angel really good for a healthy stop!

The first time at the shopping centre went to Hays travel agents, which have really nice helpful staff. I didn't know that there were so many shops there.

I shop here but would prefer less charity shops and more individual businnesses. I do shop in the charity shops and find lots of bargains.
