    Having usually used Specsavers I went here for a change. Immediately i felt it wasn't a very welcoming place. Whilst choosing frames for my glasses I witnessed one of the workers sniggering at me to another colleague because i remarked that all the frames were very similar and did not suit me whilst I was browsing. There seemed to be a rush to get me to choose a frame and i felt very pressured by the guy. The payment plan to spread the cost was not offered to me even though the optician herself mentioned it, the guy on the shop floor didn't so I paid in full, which is not good if you're on a budget. On collection of the designer Palazzo glasses they were presented in a Vision Express snap shut old man's black case, which I wasn't happy about so I was asked to choose between two other cases which weren't very nice either and used but reluctantly I chose one and left. Very disappointed that the case wasn't shown to me beforehand as I would have chosen a different brand. I won't ever shop here again because of the bad service from everyone except the optometrist/optician and the lady I collected the glasses from. Eye care is not a laughing matter and people who wear glasses should not be ridiculed for being particular about what they want, after all it's a lot of money to be shelling out when you are paying for varifocals and to have someone who appears to polish glasses for a living laughing about it is very unprofessional.

Then to top it off the staff member who called said it's because the appointment booking system has a glitch. Didn't have a glitch when the reminder was sent twice in last 2 weeks and now 24hrs before the appointment they want me to rearrange the appointment. No thanks to that!!! Specsavers are better, I've had issues with this branch previously and wanted to give them the benefit of doubt. Not anymore!!

    Very low quality lenses. I’ve bought glasses from elsewhere for 15 years, all of which I’ve had no issues with despite wearing them daily for 2-3 years. The £430 pair from Vision Express have lasted just 11 months. Their advice was to buy another pair, because now I’d get free insurance and this wouldn’t be an issue (convenient…coincidence?) - poor service and poor quality product from a brand who profess to lead the way in customer service and care/quality.

    Needed to speak to them on the phone urgently. Waited 40 mins. My call was evidently not important to them. Eventually spoke to someone who sounded more annoyed than anything. If this is a sign of how they treat customers, this shop must be atrocious to deal with. I ended up cancelling my appointment and will use a different optician.

    Apart from the optician who carried out my eye test, my experience has been appalling. Staff just couldn’t care less if you sat there waiting for a long time, especially when you made it clear you would not be buying their very expensive frames! Customer care at its worst! When my eye test was completed and I was told the type specs I would need, I asked how long it would take to have them made and was told minimum of 2 weeks. As I was only in the country for a few days I explained I would not be able to wait for them to be made. And there started the complete ignorance from the front office staff! I will never visit Vision Express in the Vic Centre again!

    Great place to have your eyes tested. I did prefer the older branch in Vic Centre Nottingham. The new branch a little small in terms of space, especially at busy times

    First point I searched the internet and, as normal, what I liked is not available at the shop. The pair I choose were put aside and when I came to finalize the purchase no one knew were they were. The billing left me puzzled and like my vision unclear. All in all the service was acceptable but seemed a little loose and disconnected. For the price of the frames the final bill seemed high. Could not make out if I had been charged for the test which I thought for me was free. Will go again.

    Excellent service. No attempt to sell me what I didn't need! Good selection of frames, reasonably priced. Highly Professional staff. Wait times were negligible and I left happy with every aspect of the service!

    Simone from your Nottingham branch was very pleasant and helpful, she listened to me and helped me make the decision on which frames to have. Also Simone fixed my existing glasses for me and nothing was too much trouble. I had a very good experience and I am pleased with my choice of frames which are red and quite daring!

    The optician rushed me because they were clearly busy. Usually I go through various lenses with the optician but this time I was only asked to see 3-4 different lenses. The test wasn’t an extensive test yet there was no reason for it apart from them wanting to get on to the next one. I was in the opticians for over one hour. I was only in the opticians chair for 5 minutes yet waited over 55 minutes to be seen regarding my new glasses and lenses. I expect better form vision express and their customer service was simply ludicrous this time. Even when asked how long it was going to take to be seen, I was simply told soon with no time mentioned. Won’t be returning to them and will be going to boots for a follow up as I don’t trust the 5 minute eye test that the optician did on me. Especially when my eyes are in pain and vision so blurry from one month to another.

    After a bad experience with my previous opticians it was suggested that I try Vision Express Victoria Centre Nottingham. After a thorough eye test it was recommended that I have new lenses. Also it was noted that I had something unusual behind one eye. A Quick referral J.P, then to the hospital, it was diagnosed as a Birth Mark that Vision Express thought it might be. A big thank you to all the team at Vision Express, plus an extra thank you to Ms Saadia Osman for her Professionalism. Arthur Taylor, Clifton Nottm.

    Great experience at Vision Express Nottingham from start to finish. Easy to book. Staff were helpful and informative. Special shout-out to Natalie. She spent time to talk me through what the right frame for me was based on problems I was experiencing with my current glasses. Nice to be able to chat without feeling time pressured too. Friendly and went out of her way to make sure I had a good experience as well as the best deal.

    Had the most excellent customer service by a lady called Carol from start to finish! I've never used vision express before always another well known company but was never really that happy with my test and glasses being as they should, always their cust service was never as professional and polite as it is here.

    First day of being a Vision Express customer and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service and care I received at the Nottm Victoria Store today. The staff were amazing and they even managed to squeeze me in for another appointment on the same day instead of coming back another day. Thank you!

    I had the best experience when visiting Victoria centre vision express! I would personally like to shout out Carol who was amazing, her service was 10/10. I wanted to check the sunglasses range and ended up getting 2 pairs as they had so much choice! The service I received made me feel amazing and I walked away very happy as I got everything I wanted and more.

    Actual eye test seemed ok if a little brief compared to previous tests st an independent optician. However after purchasing glasses the service has been abysmal. On return from my holiday 3 weeks after placing order glasses still aren’t ready because they failed “quality control “ and have to be remade. I only found this out because I chased the store. They were unable to contact me because my email had been deleted! But they had my phone number! Glasses won’t be ready until 21st even though the problem “appeared” on the 7th so I’m without them for my weekend break. If I’m honest I’m not impressed and won’t be using the store again and depending on how things go on Tuesday am considering cancelling order and asking for a full refund
