I
was
quite
disappointed
by
my
first
visit
to
build
a
bear
in
Nottingham.
Staff
were
very
unhelpful.
I
appreciate
experiences
are
often
different
at
the
moment
due
to
covid
so
I
called
prior
to
visiting
and
questioned
how
it
was
working
with
relation
to
covid.
The
young
lady
told
me
that
it
was
all
the
same
(except
minimising
customers
in
the
shop).
She
explained
that
the
children
chose
a
bear,
clothing,
accessories
etc.
So
we
went
ahead
with
visiting
with
a
very
excited
4
year
old.
When
we
arrived
the
store
was
not
busy
at
all,
Ourselves
and
one
other
customer.
The
staff
did
not
talk
to
us
or
explain
the
build
a
bear
process
we
were
left
to
our
own
devices
with
strict
instructions
‘Do
not
touch
the
bears,
let
me
know
when
you
see
one
you
like
and
I
will
get
it
out’
my
daughter
was
then
not
able
to
stuff
or
build
the
bear
or
in
actual
fact
do
anything
apart
from
walk
around
and
look.
We
basically
spent
£47.00
for
a
somewhat,
15
minute
experience
of
looking
at
a
teddy,
briefly
watch
somebody
else
make
it
(with
no
conversation
from
the
staff
towards
my
daughter)
before
being
told
to
go
and
choose
an
outfit.
I
would
Atleast
expect
a
brief
conversation
of
what
she
was
doing
and
how
she
is
making
the
bear
to
compensate
not
being
able
to
make
it
herself
but
nothing,
at
all,
it
was
‘I’ll
make
the
bear
if
you
want
to
look
at
the
clothes
while
I
do
it’
It
wasn’t
an
experience
I
had
hoped
for,
for
the
price
it
cost
and
I
won’t
be
rushing
back
again
anytime
soon.
It
wasn’t
‘build
a
bear’
it
was
choose
one
of
the
shelf
which
I
could
or
done
anywhere
for
half
the
price.
Huge
shame.
