Lady Jayne's Tearoom

Cafe • Tea house • Traditional teahouse

👍👍 Amazing hidden find. Wouldn’t have known it was here, behind a tram stop, a hot tub show room, and a small garden centre. But when you get here, it’s brilliant cakes (GF and vegan options), nice coffee, ornate tea pots and cups, nice breakfasts (including GF and vegan again!). Forgot to take picture...

Forgot to take pictures of the food because I ate it all too fast.

Lovely little place, ordered the Wensleydale and cranberry toastie, very nice. Then had to have cake. Caramel Apple Betty (warmed) with a scoop of Bluebells own Vanilla ice cream. ( excuse the bite out of it....too delicious to leave alone!). Varied menu with reasonable prices, good food which comes out quick and all the staff are lovely.

It was a great large pot of tea. We sat outside under a gazebo, even though it was throwing it down with rain, it was lovely and the lady who served us was great.
