Great park to just chill out in. Lake full of ducks and geese to watch and feed! I think the best time to visit the park is springtime. Look out for the geese with the little chicks. Little kiosk to buy snacks and drinks with some outside seating. Play area for the kids as well. Just a stones throw away from a McDonald's if you are so inclined.

my wife and I went to this park on 18/07/2023 around 8:15 in this park for the evening walk, 2 teenage boys didn't like us walking in the park and called us racist remarks 2 boys were cycling and screaming so loudly. We ignored them and asap left this park and never visit again it's not safe for tourists and specially when you have brown skin color sorry this incident changed my perception about the nottigham.

Always a lovely place to visit. The playground is great for children of toddlers upwards. The toilets need a bit of a clean but that's the only negative thing I can say about this place. Always remember you need cash for the cafΓ© which includes buying your duck feed

Lovely registry office with beautiful grounds for photos, we had a very light drizzle (I know photos don’t look like it) and we managed to get under some trees to briefly continue. The lawn area is clean and tidy with no litter, depending on position of the sun your backgrounds are great. There is ample free parking for your guests as well.

Beautiful park further up north of the city centre of Nottingham. Great for having an all-day relaxing picnic with family & friends. Kids also won't get bored.

A beautiful park in the suburbs of Arnold, Nottingham. Easy to get to, with 2 hours free parking. Kids love coming here for a walk, playground or just a picnic.

Beautiful place for an easy wander around, a small lake where the pigeons try their luck when you want to feed the ducks. A tuck shop selling drinks, snacks and ice cream *cash only*, children's park and pathways to follow, pram and wheelchair accessible. I went there with my three year old during one of our warmer days as I'd had a registry office appointment. Spent around 2 hours dawdling

The park is accessible from several directions on foot, but only at one point by car. The car park is busy at peak times, so it's advisable to arrive early. The park has good well maintained play area, this also gets busy. There is also a plenty of areas to walk dogs, with a good number of bins available for dog mess. There is kiosk selling a selection of drinks and snacks. There are also public restrooms available at this location.

We took our granddaughter to the park. She enjoys visiting here for the variety of activities available. We started off just admiring the birds in the lake - swans, ducks, coots, moorhens, geese and gangs of pigeons. Then it was time for a drink and to purchase some bird food. After spending more time by the lake we went to the playground for a bit while our granddaughter amused herself on the equipment. One bonus is that parking is free for up to two hours.

A lovely little gem. Nice lake and (working) fountain. Small cafe offers a good range of food & drink, but it is cash only. Good variety of birds to spot - and feed if you wish (cafe sells bags of seed). Parking is confusing. There are offices and other facilities, served by car parks which are permit only, or for blue badge holders. I would suggest the car park at the lower entrance.

Had a little walk around the park, it wasn't the cleanest but a nice park nonetheless. There's a nice pond at the bottom of the hill where there is plenty of wildlife to look at. Lots of invasive grey squirrels running about, which would be nice for some to watch. There is also a play area for small children, and at the top of the hill there is a skatepark for older children. There is a small cafe/kiosk next to the pond where you can grab a snack and a coffee, I didn't experience it but it was fairly busy for this time of year. Overall a pleasant place to be.

Small park with a duck pond and play area, suitable for a short walk. There's a coffee and ice cream bar near the pond with a couple indoor seats and public washrooms open during daylight hours. Small free parking area at the main entrance as well as a second larger parking area near the council building at the top end

Nice park to enjoy a walk. It is quite a compact park but has a lovely lake with plenty of wildlife. Paths are well paved and there is a tree trail to enjoy. Also has a skate park. Plenty of seating. Good for short walks and fresh air. Cafe is nice bonus.

I recently visited this park with my family for a picnic and had an amazing experience. The calm and sunny weather made it a perfect spot for chilling and taking beautiful pictures. The park offered various games and fun activities for kids which kept them engaged and entertained throughout our visit. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the park and the availability of clean and well-maintained bathroom facilities. Additionally, the park offers two hours of free parking which was convenient for us, and the easy access to bus routes made transportation hassle-free. Overall, I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing outing with their family or friends. I give this park a 5-star rating for its beautiful setting, engaging activities, and convenient amenities.
