An absolutely brilliant and fun experience… Our games master was Laura… what a lovely lady… she explained everything very clearly and made us feel completely comfortable… I’ll be recommending it to many of my friends and members of my family and we will definitely be doing the other room.

A great experience for our first escape room, definitely not one to miss in Nottingham. We were greeted by our host Phoebe and after a brief safety talk were whisked away to Carfax. The setting, puzzles and attention to detail on all the set dressing were amazing. Clues were delivered brilliantly, in character and only when needed, the story line was engaging and we were genuinely surprised by the ending. A brilliant use of the space to add to the atmosphere. Cave Escape are very much to blame for our new hobby and we will be back to complete Monuments

Three generations (ages 13, 48, 49 and 68) had a fabulous time in the Carfax room with our lovely host Imogen. It was fun and pitched perfectly in difficulty for our first escape room. Escaped in 58:29 with a few handy hints from the ghostly assistant.

Recently visited Cave Escape with my partner. The attention to detail in the venue is brilliant and something we appreciate. From the moment we stepped through the main entrance it felt atmospheric which provides for an immersive experience that we look for and enjoy. Played Carfax and it was a very good room. Harry was a great host and we really enjoyed the extra sound effects he added during the game - it gives the impression that the host is interested and paying attention throughout. Really liked the building and the cave entrance to the room is fab. Great room, theming and flow. Lots of clever physical puzzles and exactly what we look for when we play escape rooms. Hope to be back to conquer the other rooms.

Really good escape room. We did the monuments escape room. There were lots of puzzle which kept us working for the full time. We had the minimum number of people and managed to escape with seconds to spare. The puzzles were really well thought out and logical. The atmosphere of the caves was great. Hope to be able to do another escape room here soon. Thank you.

It was really good! The atmosphere of the caves and decoration were very nice. The puzzles were really good, they were thought out, thematic and fun. It was not an endless supply of combination locks, directional locks and slightly different combination locks like many other escape rooms. I've been to maybe 5 other escape rooms in a couple of different cities and this was hands down the best.

I have visited this escape room twice now and absolutley loved the experience i've had both times! The staff are friendly, informative and fantastic at what they do! The rooms have really fun puzzles and a unique feel! Can't wait for the new room to be finished! 😊

Monument was an amazing escape room. The setting in the caves was great but the puzzles even better. Hardest escape room I've done and highly recommend

Despite the loss, we have had an amazing time. Great experience. The fact that the rooms are located in the caves, creates even more mystical atmosphere. Very friendly and informative service.

Absolutely amazing! I booked my best friends hen party for cave escape room and honestly we had the best time! Having never done an escape room before I was worried how it would go but we actually did really well and managed to complete it in a great time! I was in contact with the organisers all the way up to us going and they were honestly amazing, they mentioned that they could do surprises in the room so I sent some adult confectionery for the hens to find and I was very impressed. They answered any questions I had and replied very quickly. I would definitely recommend cave escape and will definitely be going back.

We played Project Iceman today in a team of two and absolutely loved it! The game has a good range of different types of puzzles and is challenging enough to be fun but without being impossible. The room is really well set up and you can tell that a lot of effort has gone into preparing it all. The staff are (as always) absolutely excellent and really make the whole experience a 10/10.

What an amazing experience. Between us we've played 20+ escape rooms - this is by far one of the better ones. I was slightly worried at first as i'm 6'6 but had no issues with the head room. From a technical perspective the room(rooms* SPOILER ALERT) were fantastic - not so difficult it becomes a frustration but challenging enough not to be boring. Big thank you to the staff for being helpful and confirming if we were right but we were doing something slightly wrong or not precisely enough. I would highly recommend visiting. We'll definitely be back to do the other rooms!.

Visited Cave Escape Sat 18 Nov with my 3 daughters as a late Father's Day treat. Had a great time doing The Monuments scenario. Really cool set up, lots of excellent tasks, clues and tricks to get you thinking. The time went by in a blink, but we cracked it in 54.36. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Fab place, deffo give it a go 🎖🎖🎖🎖

We had an amazing time in the Monuments cave, the puzzles were interesting and stimulating, and being in a cave really added to the atmosphere. No time for clock watching, we were all totally involved in the game! Thank you so much to Cave Escapes, and to Imogen in particular, we're already looking for an excuse to come back!

Fantastic! Me and my Girlfriend did the Carfax escape room and came so close to solving the mystery! Value for money, excellent! Details of the scenery, amazing! The host and cave ghost were very friendly and welcoming, can’t wait to return to take on another escape! 10/10 Will be solving mysteries again.

Loved every moment of this place. We wish to go back again and do the second room. Great night for friends and family. Staff were lovely and helpful when we needed it. Planned ahead and extra treats were hidden for a hen night.

Cave escape was FANTASTIC! We did the Monuments room. Had a brilliant time, especially as we cracked it in just under one hour. We're fairly novice so we're pleased with that. Phoebe was our staff member and she was absolutely excellent - knowledgeable, funny, helpful and just flippin awesome. Loved this, would recommend and can't wait to go back and try another room!

Amazing experience here on Christmas Eve. Fabulous room and great setting. The caves really add to the atmosphere. The wonderful Phoebe really made the experience first class. Best escape room we have done!

Excellent escape rooms - we have done Carfax and Monuments and both were brilliant in their own ways! The team clearly puts a LOT of time and effort into the design and sourcing of the materials for the rooms which goes such a long way to making the experience feel as genuine as possible. Not to mention that the caves are such a unique and special setting, especially for the themes of the rooms! We have done quite a few escape rooms in the UK and abroad and Monuments is definitely the most satisfying so far!

Brilliant room design with different areas which had slightly differing themes and challenges. Funny little jokes around the room also made the game very upbeat and fun. The set was very well designed, with a bunch of fun props. The staff were also very good at giving us hints when we were struggling, whilst also being funny when we were a bit stupid. One of the best escape room experiences I've had!

Such a great experience! The woman who helped us was great! The room itself was creative and yet accessible, so many great tricks to solve. Would recommend this to anyone with a few free hours

Amazing escape room and good balance of hard but engaging tasks and puzzles. Would 100% recommend. I had an amazing time and really enjoyed it. I think they've got the atmosphere down to a tee, especially for the Carfax. I really felt like I was inside the story they portrayed. Laura our games master was unreal at setting the scene before we went into the room, as well as making the hints we received feel more immersive. Thank you for the experience

Came here yesterday which was my first ever escape room, and won't be the last! It was so much fun. The staff were really friendly and engaging, the cave atmosphere was amazing and the clues really well thought out. Look forward to coming back and trying a different room.

The two escape rooms here (Carfax and Monument) are really great both very atmospheric and built into the sandstone caves under Nottingham. Carfax is probably the slightly easier of the two and both well worth checking out. We will be coming back here once the new rooms are.up and running.

Brilliant fun, great atmosphere and set design. Upon entering the lobby area you are immediately transported to a Dherlock Holmes-esque office, full of curios and good old Victorian British style. Even the toilet is cool (and very clean!). The whole set up has fantastic attention to detail and really gets you in the mood for some escaping! Not only that the facilities are great and the staff are super friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Even though we didn’t quite make it to the end (boooo!) we had a super fun experience and would highly recommend this place! Luckily we didn’t succumb to Dracula’s evil so we will be returning to play another room! Thanks guys, see you for the next one :)

The best escape room I've done - monuments. Very challenging but great fun. The set design and story were very good, as was the member of staff who took us through the story, he really added to the experience. We just barely escaped!

Amazing escape rooms - did both of them in one afternoon. Amazing game hosts - Phoebe and Imogen really made it special for us. Can’t wait for their new ones!

We really enjoyed our experience at Cave Escape. Our host Chris was fun and friendly, and gave just the right amount of helpful nudges. The room had a great mix of puzzles and was really immersive with the unique setting of being in a cave.

Absolutely amazing, loved it. We did the vampire room, it was creepy and atmospheric. The lady who looked after us was really nice and helpful. Didn't think escape rooms were going to be for me but I will definitely go back. Everyone should give it a go 😁❤❤❤

Myself and my girlfriend tried Cave Escape today and had a blast. We’d never tried an escape room before but from the moment we walked through the door we were greeting with smiley faces and great energy. Imogen was fantastic and really made the experience for us, thank you! The rooms themselves were great, we got into it after a few mins and started to think outside the box. The clues were great, really made us think and work as a unit. It’s defiantly great fun and we’ll definitely be doing more. Keep up the good work guys!
