A Beautiful, Scenic, well-maintained park. We went on hot summers day and it was absolutely packed! We decided to do the boating this time (£5 per person for 1 hour). The queue goes down a lot quicker than you think. The ice cream van 🚐 queue doesn’t seem to change but it does go down, promise. Mr Whippy still doing his thing. 🍦 A great place to for a walk. Lots of couples, family and friends out and about. A pleasant walk around the ground, even for those with limited mobility. The worst part about this park is trying to find parking. I’d advise getting the tram 🚋, it lands right outside the park and it’s inexpensive. Definitely worth a visit. 💫

We enjoyed our day trip here, for us it was to take some little people in our lives to explore their outdoor playground and a walk around the lake then, some treats in the cafe, this venue is also attended by art studends at the University and collages and we saw groups of young people going to class etc. We found it very enjoyable and our young people were tired out and enjoyed their sleep in the car going home :)

Enjoyed, small quiet museum with artefacts, various exhibitions, and shop. Nice little cafe at both buildings. Very busy at the theatre. Good for families, a park, mini golf and a walk around or a go on the boating lake. Oh, and for anyone that interested this is where one of the 'Afterlife' bench is located.

Fantastic place! Lovely cafe, park and the Arts centre frequently put on family friendly activities. We also enjoy the walk around the water. It's well worth a visit, however, parking is ⭐️ one star. If there is an event on/it's a sunny weekend day, you'll be lucky to get a parking space due to VERY limited spaces and no other parking facilities within walking distance.

Fantastic place well worth a visit with Highfields Park next door. Regular changing schedule of theatre plays, museum exhibitions along with excellent catering options. A great improvement on the old pavilion that used to stand on the same site .

Unfriendly since covid (new management?). Lots of handmade ‘do not’ signs going up (no dogs, don’t move the furniture…). Looks unprofessional and grumpy and a rubbish face of the university to outsiders. Vast contrast to Portland cafe ( bring your dogs, smiling faces, no unfriendly signs - and much better coffee/food choices). Perhaps arts is getting a bit snobby?? They really have no leg to stand on in that regard :) Currently boycotting (even if my dog is not with me - then I’m forced to).

Very nice place to visit to see a regular changing (every 3 to 4 months ) art exhibition. Small cafe to visit before you start, which is reasonably priced, and serves great scones and coffee. Small carpark for visitors, and not for students, as the premises are close to Nottingham University campus. Nice lake outside to see wildlife, have a canoe ride or walk around for a stroll

Took our son to see the Singing Mermaid at Lakeside after Christmas and loved the show. Booked wheelchair accessible seats in advance but unfortunately he had been unwell and we weren't able to attend but the box office were really helpful in rearranging the tickets for our second attempt. Puppets were mesmerising and the puppeteers amazing. A really enjoyable event 😊

Went to see a concert by Joby Burgess; staff was lovely and auditorium was fantastic! I didn't know that doors only opened 10 minutes before the show started but I had a lovely cup of coffee beforehand whilst I waited.

We came to show our little one the "Enchanted Forest". It was honestly a beautiful experience for him. He usually wants carrying everywhere but he wanted to get straight down in the room to explore. The visuals were amazing, calming and literally a work of art. How lovely that the university decided to share it with everyone.

I and my kids (10 and 6 years old) love this place. We come quite often as there is so much to do : art, performance, playground, outside golf, place to relax, and have a nice walk. We love the atmosphere around Lakeside art and inside it:)

Cafe is way to expensive, it's a place for kids, why charge so much. Bring your own pack lunch. Apart from the cafe beautiful place to walk, park fab and scenery. ,

A lovely intimate venue to see quality acts and great value for money. There is a bar and you can book a table for a pre- performance meal. Mccusker, Mcgoldrick and Doyle gave a high energy and moving performance!

Small, cozy venue with a nice cafe. Any shows held here get a thumbs up- provided you are a fan of the 'performer'

Stunning place with a beautiful lakeside walk, and woods and wildlife to amaze everyone in the family. Check before you go that cafe is open as it wasn't when we visited on a rainy Saturday (takeaway available). Playground for little ones and and boats for hire for an hour on the lake.

Always enjoy a walk round the lake here but was nice to see a show for once. The card Ninja was brilliant and will definitely be returning to see something else there soon

An amazing and beautiful place to visit, free parking. Public toilets and a reasonable priced cafe. Going on the walk and feeding the squirrels is so much fun.

Excellent exhibitions. The PRE booked slots means you often get the exhibition space to yourself

I need to spend more time here, it's a treasure trove of creative works and live performances and it's right beside a tram stop. I've been a couple of times now for different shows and always enjoyed it. Now that lockdown is easing back I'm going to make an effort to visit more performances here.
