Ancient Bridge and pathway over blackbrook outside stonebow washlands. Dogs allowed off lead in Baileys plantation. Pretty tree-lined woodland and pathway, which can be muddy autumn / winter, just past the bridge. I would say a lovely walk and mabe a picnic in the park after would be a great free option for families. There is wild life to see however there is only parking on the road. It is free to go. There are no toilets at this reserve.

A hidden gem just along from Morrisons car park. Stunning nature reserve with a boardwalk, ponds and ancient stones dotted about. Didn't know it was there!

Intriguing to see. I wish more was known about it. A stone bridge of old style construction, rumoured to be medieval. A trail goes over it. Crude concrete slabs on the top. You need to find an on street parking spot nearby.

Well, it’s not a destination in its own right, but if you happen to be at Morrison’s then it’s worth the stroll down (just follow the footpath out of the car park, to the right, and keep along the right hand side of Blackbrook. It’s not too far. You will cross a bridge and a road). Lots of woodlands and pathways that I didn’t know were there, so have got the map out ready to explore the area more. Added bonus for me was seeing a Grey Wagtail on the bridge.

The bridge is a beautiful little construction. The walks in forest and fields surrounding are well worth the look. Much better in the sun shine, of course.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Love this farm. This is definitely our regular. Lots to see and do. We love cuddle corner and the pony and tractor rides. The staff are all so friendly and engaging with my toddler. There are a good range of animals and they seem well kept. There is a lovely marked farm walk around the back dotted w...
