Lovely place for a little walk. Itโ€™s not massive but is for the most part well kept. Thereโ€™s a lovely war memorial in the centre with remembrance themed benches, a kids play area with splash pool, benches all around if you want to soak in the peace and quiet. The one thing that lets it down is the state of the pond, but maybe that will change when the weather is better. Iโ€™ve enjoyed many walks there already.

I love this little park, it always looks well loved and well kept. The trees are beautiful. Since my dog passed away it's been good talking to other dog owners there too. On my last visit there I looked at the memorial for the soldiers and there is a family name on there related to my dad and me. The jubilee celebrations on there were lovely too.

Lovely walk around especially if you have children and dog, sadly though wish they would clean the pond and fill with water

Jubilee celebration on the park. Quite busy but disappointed by the toilets, only 2 plus a disabled one which was not big enough to access with a scooter. Not a lot for the number of people there. Otherwise a nice walk around, lots of stalls to look at

Nice walking whether alone, as a couple or with pets. Generally peaceful considering it's quite close to main roads & there is also a small play park for younger children which is nice. They have a water play area which is supposed to be entertaining for the little ones but I've never been when it's on. I believe there is also a skate park for older kids too. Positive experiences from me so far, probably lacking seating, there is seating around various parts but could probably do with a bit more.

It was a lovely park to have on my doorstop. The falklands memorial, in particular, is a great thing to have in the local town.

A beautiful well maintained park. A very large area and should be used more often for functions.

Great park, small but a nice walk and they have lovely flowerbeds always well kept. A great splash pad for kids in summer. Little cafe open at peak times for a coffee.

I had heard about the splash pool so we visited last Saturday. Although I now live in Heanor, I hadn't been to the Park since 1995 when we visited on our wedding day with all our guests for the photos. It bought back lovely memories but I also found it so well kept, relaxing and being bigger than I thought. The splash pool was brilliant for the kids who had a wonderful time and it's stress free for the parents as all soft play surface and no excess water to worry about. We will definitely be returning x

Very much calmness to this little park place beautiful oak trees ๐ŸŒณ and pines and more other types, well maintained kept area , a few benches here there and everywhere to chill and ponder you thoughts or just to have a breather and clear your head, a few dog walkers comes this way and you get to see the odd squirrels watching you from above ready to throw empty nuts shells at you no doubt lol

๐Ÿ‘ Exceptionally well maintained public river garden, not loads to do; however, it's perfect for a lazy Sunday in the sun. Small hut selling teas and coffees plus cold drinks; although, I believe this is temporary until the impressive looking new cafe is built. Ice cream van is there, but it seems to...
