I arrived around 10pm ready for a shower & bed! Come to find out- they were OVERBOOKED! I made my reservation online 2 weeks ago, too. They did pay for a room across the street at Super 8 for the night but it was just such a disappointing process! How can a hotel overbook rooms?!?! It’s also a pretty shady location right next to a busy intersection & an extremely brightly lit gas station. Only reason I gave this review one star is for the nice front desk rep, Jeremy & the helpful manager, Jodi. I’d stay away from this hotel but if you can’t, just make sure you check in as early as possible to avoid an overbooking!

Our hotel room was spotless, cleanest hotel room I have ever been in. The whole hotel waz sparkling clean and the staff were friendly and fantastic! We had our 5 year old grandson with and they even joked with him and had him giggling! The pool area was clean and pool was warm and refreshing! Love the pool being open so early...Grandson had us up at 6:00am to go swim again before we had breakfast. Lots of GREAT breakfast options too!! We will definitely come back!

I was very happy to see them actively checking the pool chemical levels. I was told they check the levels once a shift. The water was clear and did not have an obvious chlorine smell. The water temp was nice, not too hot not too cold. Pool water health is extremely important. I was also pleasantly surprised with the abundance of options with the free breakfast. I would say the free breakfast was better than average. The rooms and facilities were good, with no signs of obvious/ignored repairs. The staff was attentive and worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly and we were well feed. I take these Google reviews seriously and seldom give out 5 stars. But these guys earned it. I'll definitely be back.

The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and did not stink. The young man at the counter was very professional. I will definitely use them again the next time I'm in town.

Very friendly, kind and knowledge staff! Hotel was very clean and I felt very safe with a "security guard" checking the outside doors.

Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast with many options. Cons: My bed was like laying on the floor; no give whatsoever, and I swear I felt a spring poke my knee. The location is very noisy, especially if your room faces the front of the hotel, as mine did.

What a great stay!!! Clean and very nice! And plenty of choices for breakfast! Our only complaint would be lack of a towel bar or room on the sink to place a towel.. Other than that nothing! We met Jeremy when we checked in. What a great guy!! My wife and I had a nice conversation with him! The gal at check out was nice as well! I'm afraid I forgot her name! 🫤

This place is absolutely exceptional! Perfectly clean, perfectly functioning room, and friendly service. I really don't have the words to describe how pleasant my stay was here. This place was just perfect, the pool area and hot tub were very nice, the breakfast in the morning was better than expected. I was in room 221 and it was flawless. Highly recommend this place! Thank you to the hard working staff there!!

Hotel is extremely clean and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Would strongly recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel was pleasant. Two and a half hours from the airport. The room was clean and warm upon entering. The showers were hot, and there were plenty of towels. Pillows were so comfortable, slept like a baby. Full breakfast available at six a.m., eggs, bacon, potatoes, and waffles, among other stuff. Convenience store across the parking lot but had to climb a wall of snow to get there.

All of the staff were very friendly from checkin to the person cleaning the rooms, room was very clean as was the hotel. Comfortable bed and the hotel was very quiet. Very Nice Stay.

This hotel is absolutely AMAZING!!! The rooms are clean, modern and so comfortable. The staff is so helpful and kind. They went above and beyond!!! Excellent place to stay!

Check in was great. Jeremy was more than accommodating with any needs during our stay. The breakfast had a good selection. The only concern was the bed/pillows weren’t comfortable but would stay again if I was needing accommodations in the area.

This place is so amazing! it is so clean and it’s beautiful! The people are so nice. after a hard day they haves us a complimentary upgrade, water, and snacks! Best hotel i’ve ever been to, i'm in awe!

Hotel was quite clean and room amenities were decent. Our room was close to an exit so it was quite noisy. I found beds to be quite stiff and uncomfortable as well as pillows being as thin as paper, although staff was very quick in responding to a request for additional pillows. Interaction with the front desk employee was pleasant with check in being quick. As well, it may be worth noting there is no elevator. Those with knee issues may want to be sure to inquire on a floor room.

Traveling for work. Staff was very courteous and helpful, from the front desk check-in (Dottie) to the breakfast staff. I thought the overall cleanliness was excellent and the room was very comfortable. Thank you!

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at the Country Inn and Suites at Baxter, MN. The hotel was the cleanest one I've ever stayed at, the breakfast was good with lots of variety, the pool was warm and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Just a mile or so to the Paul Bunyan trail. Clean rooms, good breakfast with to go options. Rain shower. Lovely outdoor seating area by pool. Will pick this place again when I am in the area.

We had the King suite room and it was clean and comfortable. Rooms were newer with a nice amount of sitting space. We didn't use the pool or breakfast areas.

Super nice place with awesome staff! I came for a family event, and it was great to have this! The hotel is beautiful, the online reservation process was easy, and my room was great! Also a bonus that check out was at 12 unlike the regular 11!

I like this hotel brand but they can be a hit or miss. I stayed her on two separate stays in one week. During my first stay the carpet was stained in our room and the hallways. My second stay was for two night's. The room smelled musty and there was no way to regulate the A/C, and the carpet was stained in the second room. The beds were too firm for my liking and the pillows were the size of a throw pillow. I had to request room service as they do not clean the room daily, or give clean towels unless requested. A hot breakfast was provided but a portion of the dining area was closed off and you had to request what you wanted eat from the staff. I don't recall seeing an elevator in the lobby area. There is a Starbucks across the road and a firehouse subs right next door that you can walk to.

Great stay at this property. Convenient location with lots of restaurants in the area and a gas station/convenience store right next door. Easy access to Paul Bunyan State Trail, almost right on the property. Unexpected amenities included bikes for guest use (for free!) -- we we able to take the trail to a nearby arboretum, unexpected but fun! I also appreciated the pre-stamped postcards (also for free!) in the lobby -- just a nice touch. Clean room, modern bathroom with rain head shower. We thought breakfast was excellent with great variety and a good selection of gluten-free options. My wife is celiac and the breakfast attendant went out of her way to find the packaging the sausage came in so she could check the ingredient list. She was very nice about it and it was much appreciated! Overall 10/10, would definitely stay at this property again.

Lovely, clean rooms and friendly staff. Would have hoped to see the staff masked - I'd have added another star for that. Hot breakfast was good - a staff member served "breakfast bowls" with eggs, bacon and potatoes. Bagels and toast availabe as well as fruit cups and few other items. The beds were extremely comfortable! We had a good night's sleep.

Great experience. The hot breakfast made my mornings more enjoyable. The beds are way nicer than most hotel beds. I love the shower head coming from the ceiling as I am a very tall person. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here over a thanksgiving weekend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is only partially serve yourself as a staff had to serve you all hot food. Pool and hot tub were nice.
