An absolutely beautiful part of Italy. The cave section in river are breathtaking and well worth stopping by if you were in the area. The small village/town that surrounds it is as well beautiful and has some local eateries that would be worth visiting as well for lunch or dinner. The water itself is crystal clear and absolutely freezing, I would highly recommend at least washing your hands off in it to get the feel if you visit.

Came in September and there is no water by the streets, like in most of the pictures only in the actual Source of the Gordazzo. I would like to come back next year and see if there is any water. The breeze was nice as it’s cooling down now and you can definitely walk around the little town. 4 ⭐️ because I was really hoping to see the water in the canal.

I only rated this with 2 stars because there is currently nothing to see there- because of the severe drought right now. There is no water so do not bother to come here unfortunatelly. The only positive thing is the little stand with honey products where you can buy local honey and try waffles with delicious ice cream&honey :) 🐝🍯

A cool place to see, easy to get to and Al Bar right next to it is a lovely place to sit for a drink and enjoy nature and the site.

It's very nice bar with nice view. I would recommend for everyone to come here. They have lots of customers but the staff always taking care of you. You can enjoy nice conversation with beautiful view and also listen to natural sounds around. 😉

This was the quintecesstial northern Italian town and picture perfect. Very quiet and peaceful. The blue pool was delightfully cold for the little ones to sneak their toes in. The submerged Christ took a few minutes and the right angle to find but was breathtaking.

Stunning water -l’acqua grotto. A cave and small lake at the base of the mountain. Here the calcium carbonate rich mineralised freshest cool water flows magically. The vibrant aqua blue is iridescent. Inviting you in but alas to keep the water quality there is no swimming or bathing allowed. Nearby is a great cafe where either coffee or grappa or the local aperitif spritz helps you absorb the beauty. Before heading up the mountain range, where the views are exceptionally check out the lovely old inner towns!

Very pretty little area, amazing blue waters. A cute little winery 50 yards from the cave, La Bus. We stopped in after our hike. Check out All Trails to find one of the many trails in that area; some have great overlooks. It was a fun mini excursion.

Die Grotte ist immer wieder schön. Leider aufgrund Wassermangels beim diesjährigen Besuch in 2023 ein trauriger Anblick. Hoffen wir es wird wieder besser.
