Quick disclosure, only reason I am giving two stars is because the bagels were fresh and ONE of the employees was nice and helpful. The girl at the register, explained Taylor ham to us as “processed meat” which was nasty. After checking out my father in law while we were waiting on our food, he went to grab the two bags of coffee he had bought, and in front of the store said she didn’t remember him paying for them and asked if he actually did. My sisters bagel was missing bacon, they took the bagel back to add it, the cook dropped it, caught it with his bare hand, then wrapped it back up for us. I don’t recommend this place. Food is mediocre. Bagels are fresh but not anything special when it comes to the food. Coffee was weak and not very flavorful.

I live right around the corner from this place. I tried it once and it was nothing compared to up north bagel shops. My husband and I are natives from NY & NJ. This place cannot compete in NY then they say NY style. I ordered a simple sausage egg and cheese on a roll with salt pepper ketchup. While i was waiting for the rest of my order i decided to open my sandwich. To my surprise there is bacon and no sausage in site. I kindly asked to check my receipt because i did not receive one. They went back to check and sausage was placed in my order. The young girl asked me if i touched the sandwich. At this point i was appalled because they took it back to sell to someone else. Absolutely disgusted they switched my sandwich. Now if i go to a chain store like Dunkin they will tell me to keep it cause they can't take it back. Especially in todays world with evolving COVID strains... Man if i could have left less than 1 star i would have. On top of that my husband asked to substitute the hashbrown for fries. The cashier blatantly said no when we've substituted in the past. We also told her we didn't mind to pay the difference. We requested the eggs to be sunny side up and the yolk not runny. I guess in florida they don't know the difference between runny yolk and cooked yolk. We waited another 15 mins and get home.. What a waste. Toast is supposed to be hard and crunchy our toast was flimsy and soft and barely golden slathered in butter. As you can see in the pictures. Will not recommend nor will be coming back. I support local businesses that cater to paying customers. I cannot support this business if the main interest is production and throwing any type of food on a plate. Its the quality and standard of care for me. Oh, and they charge extra if you use card vs cash.

Me and my wife usually love coming to this place, but today was different. I order 1 bagel and waited over 30 minutes to get bagel. There was probably 5 people behind me who received there food. After we asked numerous times where the bagel was, they said they called our name and nobody grabbed it, but I was standing there the whole time waiting. Name never called. Then they said they would take care of it, and waited even longer. No apology or anything. Then when I got home, the bagel was gross, looked like one piece of bacon, and half of a egg. Then the hash brown looked like they took a bite out of it and threw in the bag. Extremely disappointed and will never come back

My husband and I came in for lunch today after wanting to try this place for a long time. We were not disappointed at all! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and offered their recommendations for our first time. We ordered a bagel sandwich, a grilled chicken wrap, steak sandwich and some desserts. Let's just say, Oh My God, it was amazing. That steak sandwich I will be craving for a while. I cannot recommend this place enough for a quick lunch spot before hitting the beach. What a great location and environment. Thank you Uncle Nicks!

Second time ordering take out from here and it is so good! We ordered breakfast the first time- Bacon, egg, cheese on a bagel and hands down some of the best NY style bagels we have gotten in FL. Very soft and flavorful . We got lunch today and it was just as good. I highly recommend the hot italian chicken sub. What makes it great is their ROLL. Also the fries are 10/0. Support local!

If you ain't coming to uncle Nick's for your bagels, you're living under a rock. Peaches at the register is a kind girl. Don't waste your time other places this is the spot. Put the pic of me eating it so you know what it is.

So good! We were in town for a soccer game and I found Uncle Nick’s via Google Maps. I called in an order - everything bagel toasted with provolone and scrambled egg. Gentleman on the phone was very helpful and pleasant. It was ready when I got there and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a hashbrown too. Planning on getting another after tomorrow’s game!

Bagels were good I ordered there twice and the first time was pretty bad I had mold on my cheesecake. The bagel sandwich I ordered was good that's the reason for the 3 stars. Tried them a second time maple bacon cream cheese was nasty and felt weird eating there again but also scared because of mold on my cheesecake.

Fantastic bagels. Stopped for breakfast, took a bakers dozen with me. They will even deli cut your bagels for you which is really convenient. Wish I would have gotten the cream cheese to go also. Will definitely do that next time. The cheddar everything and blue berry were our favorites.

First time this morning..great staff. Great atmosphere. My four star is only because of the eggs they use. I can taste the difference. I won't go into detail... But ... If you are the person to eat random eggs and you can't tell the difference, then this place is a five star. My husband gave it a five star... Definitely will return!

I really enjoyed this place. I'm from up north and they have a beautiful Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. It's ten bucks but it's huge and very delicious a nice treat for sure. I also love how they import their kaiser rolls from Staten Island. They also have black and white cookies and for me it's a taste of up north here in Bradenton. Thanks guys

My favorite bagel place in manatee county , always fresh bagels when I walk in and they have rock salt bagels which is my favorite and normally hard to find around here. Good selection of sandwiches . Serving joffery coffee and Natalie’s juice which I appreciate

The variety of items available was greatly reduced from the past. One must come early, before 10, to enjoy a good bagel selection. The bagels were great and the schmears were plentiful. A pleasent experience.

Went for lunch. Me: Aunt Philly-excellent, bread absolutely made it, roast beef was spot on and the fries were very good as well. Wife: Cuban-one of the best around honestly (I tasted it as I have a Cuban sandwich thing 🤣). Will definitely be going back. The bagels, breakfast combos and treats look amazing and we will be trying them as well. Why’d it take a year to find. 😞

Tried today for the first time. Friendly staff. Good bagels. Massive muffins! Nice and delicious!! My only reason for not 5 stars is the bagel could have used more cheese. One slice wasn’t enough :)

Not sure how anyone did not give this a 5 STAR!!!! been out of BROOKLYN and NY for 10 years and in my entire life I have not found a bagel OUTSIDE BROOKLYN or NY that's close to New York!!!! Well not anymore! This BAGEL brought me back to my childhood!! It is the best bagel store you will find anywhere!!!!!!!! in Florida! It is hands down, not even close the best breakfast I've had in 10 years outside of New York!!!!! I drove 40 minutes, it was worth every second and I will be coming back all the time to eat at the store and buy bagels to take home! Plus if you're from New York, you know what I'm talking about, they have the Brooklyn KAISER ROLL!!!!!!

Very good food and affordable prices. I got a sub and the portion was huge I didn’t even know the sandwich came with fries. Great atmosphere, workers are nice. Only 3 or 4 different donuts to chose from but so good! They had a huge variety of bagels and were GOOD!

Sooo good! First the bagels are delicious!! Reminds my husband of back home in NY. Uncle Nick himself was so welcoming and kind, made the whole experience nice. All the staff was great!! Our new spot to always stop into when in the area.

Finally!! A place in town that respects the schmear !!!!! When I say respect I mean respect!! Extra schmear and they delivered heavy!! This makes me so happy! Thank you uncle Nick!! You made my bagel dreams come true thanks for the heavy respect on a good bagel! 10/10 would go again

Uncle Nick's Donuts: A Boston Cream Delight. Tried the Boston Cream Donut at Uncle Nick's and I must say, it's a delightful treat. Notably larger than what you'd find at Publix or Dunkin, with a cream that truly elevates the experience. While the dough could be a tad moister, the richness of the cream compensates. Stop by and ask for fresh donuts – it makes a difference. Pair it with their freshly brewed coffee. Though their barista seemed a tad unsure about bean varieties beyond Arabica, it's a minor detail. Most places serve Arabica anyway, unless you're after a robust Arabica-Robusta blend like in Vietnamese coffee. All in all, a worthwhile visit for a generous-sized, tasty donut. Highly recommended.

I was so delighted to find an awesome little bagel shop! Everything looks delicious and has tasted exceptional. Especially the coffee and bagels! The prices are great and accessible. Service is wonderful! I almost hesitate to leave a review because I am feeling a little greedy with my new favorite spot ❤️

Delicious. Fresh. I first had their food at a church lunch and it was delicious and the Pastor recommended their breakfast too, so I went in today. Wow. Amazing. They have huge bagels and a wide variety. There are so many options and the food was great. Equally impressive is that everyone working there had a smile on their face and was so kind--from the cashier to the lady making our food. Their hospitality is something unique for the area. Highly recommend. I want to try some of the desserts, they all looked delicious as well but I was there for breakfast.
