We had a funeral in Falconwood so it was reasonably situated for it. The location isn't ideal for food or shopping because everything is either a long walk, or short drive away, which isn't ideal with a disabled person, which isn't the hotels fault. Hence the 5 star review. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and helped in anyway they could, day or night. The food was lovely and breakfast was included, and they allow Takeaway to be delivered to the site, which you can accept at the hotel entrance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with facilities included such as a hair dryer, ironing board and iron, TV, air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, and even lights for reading books. The car parking had many empty spaces, free for guests. Ideal hotel for those passing through.

decent room, clean, affordable with a hearty buffet of the basics great for a quick overnight and run. I'm surprised there are no room fridges, but not sure if that's a uk thing entirely. only negative is shower pressure could be better.

When I arrived, I was served immediately. Staff were all incredibly pleasant to deal with. The room was comfortable and clean. The only downside was a problem with some of the kitchen equipment which meant half of the menu was off. However what was available came out quickly and I was given the option to take the food to my room which I did. These problems didn't affect breakfast too badly either and despite seeming rushed, the staff handled it well.

The room was a really nice size, even the shower in the bathroom is very decent in comparison to other basic hotels. The bed was comfortable as well. However, the carpets and fabric of the sleeping couch was horrendous.. So so dirty.. Also hardly any space to store your clothes. We were there for 4 days so this was kind of a hurdle. The breakfast super basic but not bad. I guess for a stay of 1 or 2 days it's fine if you're not that picky.

Possibly one of the friendliest staff members I have met at a hotel reception. Comfortable beds and great food in the restaurant/bar. Location is a bit of a pain due to the wide detour needed around a very busy roundabout, but that is only a minor issue.

Rooms as always were clean and beds comfortable. Great thing is if you are an IHG member you can ask for a free late check-out which we got, that's such a relief. Standard breakfast served and ample parking space. It's next to the motorway and no issues with noise at all. Tiny recommendation would be about the bathroom sink - it was clogged with a few hair - something to be careful about next time.

Nice hotel , very handy for transport links. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Double room was clean and spacious and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was nice although not much selection of cooked food compared to other Holiday inn. A comfortable weeks stay for work.

An excellent hotel. We were given a great welcome by the front desk team. Having booked in with our dog, he was given a welcome pack, consisting a ball, a couple of chews and poo bags. On coming to our ground floor room, we found the air con not working but on mentioning to the ladies on Desk, they had it fixed in 10 minutes. There is an area for evening meal/breakfast beside the bar and our dog was able to be with us. The room was exceptionally clean. All the staff we met were friendly & helpful, they were a credit to holiday Inn express brand

Air conditioning unit was noisy in room and not working properly either the filter for it was also absolutely smothered in dust being an ac engineer a big company like this should have a decent maintenance contract. The bathroom also made a racket for a minute after each time the toilet was flushed I’m guessing there’s a Saniflow or something behind that needs some attention as we couldn’t flush the toilet for the whole night due to how loud it was. Then breakfast seemed like a nice idea being included but the bacon sausages and beans were all room temp and not nice in anyway. The room also had a light hanging on a red cable which just looks out of place and silly in front of the ac unit. It was just hard to relax and sleep and then the poor breakfast ruined it more it’s a shame as I’ve stayed in other holiday inns with much better rest. Stayed in 113 on 27/08/22

Excellent . Pleasantly surprised by the IHG Holiday Inn.Rooms were clean ,bed excellent ,air conditioning and large sized shower. Staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast very apetizing. If I am being very critical only a choice of apple and orange juice from a machine, but a very minor criticism. Overall first class and I would stay again if I am in SE London.

Stayed for two nights while visiting friends. The room was good. Nice big shower, mattress was firm which is perfect for me. It was clean and we had the usual tea, coffee etc... The sofa bed was fine for a small child but the mattress wasn't thick enough so it wouldn't be comfortable for an older child. There were metal mechanisms on the side of the sofa bed that a child could hurt themselves on. Our son slept OK but not as well as normal (he usually sleeps well if we're in a hotel). Honestly, I would say the sofa bed was the only negative which is why I took one star off the room. They were accommodating to my request for a quiet room for health reasons. At breakfast, the staff were pretty good. The food was nice but it was busy so they ran out of things occasionly. The juice was watered down so that wasn't great. You could eat as much as you wanted which was good. There is free parking on site and it's fairly easy to get to. Pretty good for amenities and it was really close to the friends we were visiting. It wouldn't be great for someone who wants quiet mainly due to the location. Noise is inevitable when you're in this location because of busy traffic. There was someone watching something really loud on TV which kept me up. It was a pretty good stay

Stayed for a week, with a group of work colleagues. It was fine with no issues for me, rooms were big enough, TV & WiFi were great. Bed was really good and sleep quality was excellent, I was around the back of the hotel and sound proofing was good. Breakfast was basic, but catered for most tastes. There is a microwave for guests, a small bar, and a vending machine too. They are a dog friendly hotel, and you pay one fee of £25 for the duration (I believe). Big car park, you need to pay via the machine upon arrival. Great staff and an all round enjoyable stay, many thanks 🙏

It was amazing! Great service and the room wasn't too small it could fit my family of 4 and it was quite luxurious. The location is perfect and it's close to a few supermarkets as well. Breakfast wasn't the best but it was still good. Overall it's an amazing, cozy and. nice hotel.

Rooms kept nice and clean staff seem really friendly. Breakfast was pretty standard but no bacon 😢 and in order to eat you would need to order from uber just eat etc because their is nothing around for food

Not the HIE I’m used to back in the States. AC was good. Rooms were very small. Daybed pullout sofa was extremely uncomfortable even for kids. Staff was accommodating and gave us several duvets to make it softer. Location was extremely far out of the city although the train went directly to London Bridge. Had to take an Uber to the train and back every time since hotel doesn’t have a shuttle. Breakfast was there. I guess I’m not partial to British food but the staff was friendly and it’s a nice convenience. Elevator lurches at start and stop. Wall at the end of the hall vibrates very loudly at certain times of day. Some stains on the carpet and peeling wallpaper. Random screws in the wall exposed. No safe in the room but staff was kind enough to store valuables in their safe for us.

Very gloomy in dining room and bedrooms. Bedroom was refurbished, old TV and not light enough. Limited food on offer and way overpriced. Nothing added to make the good look appetising.

Stayed here for work. Room was decent (toilet wasn’t cleaned properly though). Receptionists were friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was better than I thought it’d be
