Desperate for maintenance to be carried out... All the shop owners/staff work extremely hard to keep improving their businesses. They all pay high rents & service charges, what on earth do the landlords do??? NOTHING! They really dont care... they want the centre to fall down. Well looking at the posted photo they are getting their wish... Its going to seriously injure someone. The bakers & partners cafe use the area for seating for customers... The clocktower gym owners are spending money always repairing ceilings/flooring constantly being damaged by water cos landlord wont repair roof.. It's heartbreaking for all the hard working businesses... While on subject can we have the toilets reopened... I'm sure sam the caretaker would be happy to unlock/lock them up to stop any vandalism.. say open at 9am to 3. 30. Good selection of shops, cafes, post office, supermarket... people use the centre but lack of public toilet is a major downfall.

Although I live here, the landlords have killed the vibrancy. Those businesses remaining, however, are excellent and are doing their best.

Not what it used to be, still a few reasonable shops but many shops have now closed. Did at one time have three banks but have now all closed. Plenty of parking. Not a bad place for takeaways, Chinese, Indian, Kebab and pizza. Doctors and Dental surgeries. Village hall and Library.

Love the bakers shop here. It has amazing cookies and chocolate cake. Have not been to the other places in here but they seem really good as well.

Tts a trip back in time as badly needs updating but folk are friendly and you can get what you need.

The co-op is quite good, there's a few good shops also. But in general it looks old and run down. Useful for locals though

I visited Paydens, the chemists, and the bakers shop and had excellent service in both. The shopping centre doesn't have the range of shops it used to but the parking is easy (and free) and it's good to be able to shop in a convenient, traffic-free location.

It is a busy place to live as there are so many amenities. But very nice place.

Dated, dirty, no decent shops and co-op is so overpriced it's ridiculous

The place is a bit rundown, but has a nice vibe about it. Bit of tarting up and it could be really good. Post Office staff are nice, and a good Oxfam shop.

Lack of shops! But if the locals have a bit of input it could be a thriving hub that's needed.....but now with a new landlord should improve....😏😏😏

Half the shops are empty, I've heard rumours it's because of a greedy landlord . The parking is excellent because people are not using the place. Shame because it deserves to do well

👍 Although Bligh's Meadow isn't very big , I like the vibe around there . Pretty relaxed with hardly any anti social behaviour that I have seen . Some niche shops and coffee bars . Generally polite service in all the shops . With the Christmas lights up - it's beginning to seem a lot like Christmas ....

🫤 It's easy to park here as there are plenty of spaces. However, it is not cheap. Even an hour is overpriced. A two hour stay cost us £4.10. The £0.10 was a convenience fee for paying by card. Although "card fees" were made illegal a few years ago, they've managed to work around this by renaming it...
