Visited the store today (13/10/23 between 2pm and 3pm), and was served by ANITA on the ground floor til. The queue was long and I was able to observe Anita’s bubbly conversation and interaction with other customers and colleagues while waiting in line. This included saying hello, smiling and asking each of her customers if they wanted to donate to Breast Cancer Research. When I was called to her til, I greeted her with a smile and said hello. Her persona immediately changed, she looked disgusted by me and didn’t respond. A few moments later, a woman in a hijab was served at the til beside me. Whilst scanning and bagging my items in silence and a frown, Anita spent some time looking her up and down, giving her quite nasty looks. Anita didn’t thank me, or smile or make any pleasant interaction with me. She simply read out the total, and put the receipt in the bag. She didn’t ask me if I wanted to donate either. The whole interaction was uncomfortable. I took a moment to stop and observe how she served the man who was called to her til immediately after me. Of course, she smiled and greeted him. I’m not calling Anita a racist, but she certainly was uncomfortable seeing and serving Asian customers. Not a very nice experience at all and I hope management do pick up on this and take it seriously.

Queued for approximately 20 minutes to pay for items. When I asked the manager (who looked to be about 18) what was the purpose of having 14 tills when only 4 of them were staffed he replied he wished he had more staff to man them and unfortunately as it is the run up to Christmas the queue was longer than usual, to which I pointed out that it is pointless having the infrastructure if you don’t have the means maintain it, as for Christmas as far as I am aware this is the Two Thousand and Twenty Third time it it has occurred and as it is always at the same time of year I think they have had plenty of warning! On a plus note, he was a very polite young man that probably gets fed up with dealing with grumpy old gits like me for not much more than minimum wage. Upper management get your act together, customer service is the most important thing in retail.

Good store and huge range of clothing, shoes and many more. It is quite crowded during busy periods and their cash registers are basically working "non-stop" as theres always queues at the cash out registers regardless of the time of day. An excellent amount of cash registers opened at a time so you wont spend more than 5-10 minutes to pay for something.

Had a shopping trip to this store in Lakeside and bought a beautiful quilt set that was in the sale but when I got home there were no pillowcases. Having had phonecall with a staff member they did a check and are going to send them to my home address. How's that for customer service.

On Friday 15th December 2023 my wife visited your store and told me how much she was impressed with an assistant named Rita who had gone above and beyond to help her. She needed to exchange an item for a different size but there were none on the shop floor. Rita saw she was looking and asked my wife if she wanted any help. She then went and checked out the back, found the required item and gave it to my wife. She then returned to find the packaging which was missing and refolded the item neatly inside it. All this was done with a smile. My wife said she was an absolute Angel! Thank you Rita.

Was here to get one or two things, and the prices blew my mind. Good quality stuff for cheaper prices than Canada. More like Canada stores would have sold the same items for twice or triple the price. I will plan to come shop here next trip to England. The trip will be basically to come shop and renew my closet. This trip was a business trip and not a shopping trip, lol. Sorry, there are no pictures to add as I breezed in and out.

Had a good experience at this branch. Thanks to chiara, who made it worthwhile,was so helpful. I had some items, and she even let me go get some more items I saw as I was making my way to the tills. Really patient and professional,Thank you.

At 65 i thought i was too old to shop at Primark (even though I'm young at heart) but i was really impressed with the choice and actually got myself a complete outfit for......£28.50! And I love it 😀 the staff were also very friendly and helpful and the shop floor was so tidy. I'll definitely shop there in future
