My
wife
Booked
a
FREE
laser
consultation
as
ADVERTISED
and
when
we
arrived
the
rather
snotty
assistant
said
we
would
have
to
pay
£100
for
the
consultation!!
(Even
though
someone
had
rung
my
wife
to
confirm
the
appointment
and
what
it
was
for).
Very
unprofessional.
Needless
to
say
we
declined
the
offer
to
now
pay.
Cannot
recommend
at
all
after
-having
had
bad
experience
of
their
customer
care
after
lens
replacement
surgery
(not
cheap!)
and
mistakenly
thought
they
may
have
improved.
Unfortunately
proved
wrong
and
the
usual
uncaring
service
still
exists.
Go
somewhere
else
for
your
eye
needs.

After
being
telephoned
by
Customer
Services
yesterday
to
apologise
for
the
‘misunderstanding’,
I
asked
exactly
what
this
misunderstanding
was?
It
turns
out
that
customers
get
ONE
free
consultation
in
their
life
time,
and
as
I
had
lens
replacement
surgery
10
years
ago,
that
initial
consultation
counts
as
my
one
free
one!!!!!
😂
(and
was
explained
to
that
this
would
be
in
the
terms
in
my
paperwork
from
10
years
ago!!)
Because
they
didn’t
tell
me
this
when
they
telephone
you
beforehand
to
check
what
you’re
going
for
(and
it
was
for
a
different
matter
by
the
way),
then
I
could
rebook
my
appointment
for
‘free’.
The
Dartford
manager
would
be
informed
of
this
‘misunderstanding’
so
that
they
could
discuss
the
matter
with
their
member
of
staff.
Doesn’t
help
the
fact
that
me
and
my
husband
(taking
the
afternoon
off
to
be
able
to
drive
me
-
as
recommended)
wasted
over
an
hour
of
our
valuable
time
(and
petrol
money).
Because
phone
calls
are
recorded
I’ve
insisted
that
the
C
Service
Manager
listens
to
this
call
and
contacts
me
with
regard
to
the
very
reasonable
£50
compensation
I’ve
asked
for
for
wasting
our
time.
I’ll
update
this
post
when
/if
I
hear
from
them!
I
won’t
hold
my
breath!
My
poor
husband
nearly
choked
on
his
laughter
and
disbelief
when
I
told
him
of
the
‘misunderstanding’
and
I’d
had
my
free
consultation
10
years
ago!!
Reading
other
reviews
about
the
customer
care
after
treatment
they
all
seem
to
have
the
same
theme-
they
don’t
‘care’!
