First thought opening my sandwich..."that's a good looking sandwhich!" Second thought after taking a bite..."IT TASTES BETTER THAN IT LOOKS!" I'm eager to try the rest of the menu :) *edit added-I had to add this because I went again and got a different sandwhich and it was as equally impressive as the first

So now that I know there is parking in the back I feel better about coming here. Even still it is a small building with tight seating. Could be a little more handicap friendly. The service is good but they could probably use two people up front for rush hour. I grab my food from the counter so the staff doesn’t have to bring it to me. The tables are always clean and the place is tastefully decorated to show their appreciation for the local culture and history. The potato salad tasted like it came from the grocery deli this time but their muffuletta is definitely one of the best in town. The water is not filtered so drinks taste like most of Shreveport drink (dirt). But I do recommend them to people because they really are good sandwiches.

I've been hearing a lot about this place. Finally decided to give it a try! (6-24-21) Did not disappoint! Three for us in our party. A friend and I tried the Bayou Muffuletta. Delicious! The other tried The Loggy Bayou (Rueben) We each thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches. The employees were friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend! Give it a try! The menu as of today. Update!: Went back today (6-25-21) You know it had to be good if I went the next day! This time I went with family. One member had the Muffuletta. He loved it! The other had the Bourbeux (Their version of a club sandwich) Another winner!! I tried the Swamp Dip (French Dip) Oh man! It was so good! The family enjoyed theirs so much they got a Chicken Spaghetti Casserole to take home for supper! Highly recommend! So Delicious! You really can't go wrong here! Go! Enjoy! Update!: Went back Monday 6-28-21 had The Cuban and again Tuesday 6-29-21 and has the Bourbeaux. Their version of The Club. It's a different taste, but a great different.

Great food. The Cuban was suggested and it more than met our expectations to say the least. Definitely coming back. Management and employees were attentive and very helpful.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE SANDWICH. Do not pass this place up..... best sandwich I have ever eaten, I had the 12 Mile and the wife had The Lafourche..... not a single bite left on either plate. Gumbo was excellent as well. If you are looking for a delicious sandwich at a very reasonable price, do not pass this place up!!!!

Just left bayou deli, first time going. And I WILL be back. I normally don't write reviews but this place was great! Great food, I was in and out. Great service, the cook in the back even said hi, very friendly, very clean and welcoming when you walk in. I got the chicken and sausage gumbo and a slice of cherry pie, which was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back!

My husband & I were traveling through on i-20, stopped by on the chance with high reviews. IT WAS SO WORTH IT! We did a online pickup order & ate in the shop. I got the 12- mile, it had so much flavor. I got extra cheese & it was 🤌 My husband got the regular Reuben sandwich. He said it was good but would really like to try another sandwich. This will definitely be on our rotation when traveling through the area!

I ordered delivery for my entire office and each person’s food was labeled…they even included the drink that coincided with the order on the bag. Everything was fresh and on time. I would highly recommend!
