My
mother
and
I
stayed
at
Fall
Farms
about
10-12
years
ago
and
loved
our
special
visit.
We
especially
loved
the
eclectic
farmhouse
style
and
cozy
light
of
the
lamps
used
throughout
the
colorful
house
and
rooms.
Years
went
by
and
Ms.
Carol
shut
down
her
beautiful
inn
and
I
expected
to
never
have
the
opportunity
to
visit
again.
But
then
she
reopened
this
year,
and
her
home
and
retreat
is
even
better
than
before!
Her
attention
to
decor
and
details
is
impeccable
and
her
special
breakfasts
are
worth
the
money
all
by
themselves!
(I
have
often
wished
she
would
open
a
restaurant!)
Our
family
(15
of
us
all
together!)
stayed
2
nights
to
celebrate
my
husband's
birthday
and
to
conduct
a
board
meeting
for
our
family
business.
We
used
Red
Oak
Cottage
and
2
rooms
in
the
main
house.
We
were
impressed
once
again
with
the
beauty
and
light
in
each
room,
amenities
like
access
to
a
full
kitchen
and
washer
and
dryer
in
the
Cottage,
beach
towels
for
everyone
to
use
at
the
pool,
and
a
choice
of
snacks
and
hot
beverages
always
available!
There
are
even
white
noise
machines
in
the
bedrooms!
Everything
looks
freshly
painted
(literally!)
and
there
are
plenty
of
inviting
spaces
inside
and
out
to
relax
with
a
magazine,
book,
cup
of
coffee,
or
visit
with
a
friend.
Ms.
Carol
knows
how
to
design
a
colorful
space
that
inspires
joy
and
peace.
There
is
an
extensive
collection
of
Beatles
books
and
memorabilia
to
enjoy
in
the
Retreat
and
wide
variety
of
literature
to
choose
from
in
the
main
house.
The
linen
closets
were
stocked
with
plenty
of
bath
towels
and
washcloths
so
we
never
ran
out,
and
robes
and
were
provided
for
lounging.
We
made
an
evening
meal
in
the
kitchen
of
the
Cottage,
and
found
all
the
utensils
and
dishware
we
needed
to
prepare
our
food.
The
full-sized
refrigerator
made
it
easy
to
store
leftovers
and
keep
our
Blue
Bell
ready
for
dessert!
Children
are
not
forgotten
at
Fall
Farms,
and
ours
loved
the
toys
and
children's
books
at
the
retreat,
swimming
at
the
pool,
and
watching
some
special
programs
on
the
Roku
TV.
Our
older
children
enjoyed
the
Wifi,
playing
chess
and
checkers,
exploring
the
grounds,
and
planning
a
smore's
cookout
on
the
firepit.
There
is
a
pavilion
with
bench
swings
that
we
enjoyed
in
the
afternoon,
and
a
huge
TV
in
the
main
room
where
we
hooked
up
our
HDMI
cable
to
a
computer
presentation
for
my
husband's
birthday.
The
large
table
in
the
dining
room
of
the
Cottage
was
perfect
for
our
business
meeting,
playing
family
games,
and
for
the
breakfast
that
Ms.
Carol
and
her
talented
assistant,
Anna,
delivered
to
our
door!
Four
members
of
our
family
left
early
that
same
morning
for
a
fishing
trip,
and
the
ladies
prepared
a
delicious
sack
breakfast
for
them
that
included
handmade
panini
sandwiches.
The
second
morning
of
our
stay,
we
enjoyed
breakfast
in
the
main
house,
where
each
plate
was
loving
prepared,
and
all
of
us
lingered
over
coffee
and
juice
to
enjoy
conversation
and
the
view
out
of
the
picture
window
of
the
front
patio
fountain.
Perfect!
