Food is super good. We had roll & bowl. Loved them both. The hostess/manager is a jerk. Every time we come he doesn't greet you just grumpily asks how many and walks away. Today he just throws down the menus & walks away. I have witnessed him belittling a server. Please do something about him as so unpleasant. Waitress Stella was great.

I’ve been here and dined in and have had no complaints. But today I ordered to-go and ordered the Mongolian rice noodles and received nasty mush. The “noodles” also smell as if they have been in the pot way past their throw out time. Called the restaurant and person answered the phone just said “thank you for letting me know” then hung up.

This has become our go to spot in Nac for sushi. It has been good everytime. Wait staff is kind and courteous and attentive even during busy times. They also have create your own stir fry options as well.

I love this place so much! The red dragon roll was quite delicious, and our bowls were great (per usual). It's a place where you make your own bowl, so if you don't like it, it's your own fault 🤷‍♀️. (The noodles I got were Udon noodles btw)

My husband and I have eaten at Super Yummy several times. My husband likes the food a lot. I am on the fence. The ingredients for the bowls appear to be held at the correct temperature. The bowls are freshly cooked and seasoned to order, but the restaurant is often out of a lot of items on the menu, such as plum wine, desserts, etc. I am not a huge fan of the sauces, but my husband likes the flavors of the sauces. There are a few flies inside the restaurant, and it needs a deep cleaning. The parking lot needs cleaning but is free and well-lit.

First time eating here. The waitress explained how to do the bowels and very tentative with us. Sushi was amazing and many, many options.

This probably the best sushi I have found in the East Texas area so far. My grandson loves sushi, and many have been tested. Creative and tasty combinations on the specialty menu. They can all be customized to add and remove. Beware that building your own roll from scratch is costly here. I have found it is better to slightly adjust one of their staple rolls of you want to recreate a favorite from somewhere else. The bowls are good too. They are a bit greasy, but good in flavor. Service is quick, and personalities are great other than one rude manager we encountered, working at the check in cash register. May have been because he was having to cover the hosting station. Not horrible, but rude nonetheless. OVERALL this is place is worth a try to see if they fit your flavor profile. They remain on our current restaurant rotation.

Delicious experience. The service was good and so was the stir fry and sushi. Would come here again for lunch! I ordered coffee around 1pm to get me through and they brewed a fresh pot, it was a little weak for me though.

I was brought here for the first time for dinner and I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The atmosphere was really nice, it felt a bit more upscale than other restaurants of this type. The employees had wonderful attitudes, and it was very clean. The food was FANTASTIC and fresh!!! I really love the way they have it set up to build your own. You get to choose from several different types of meats, VEGIES, noodles, dry seasoning and sauces, this is nice because your not near as limited to item choices you would like mixed in your main dish. If you haven't tried this place, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you do!!! You won't regret it.

Everything looked fresh. I like a good Mongolian stir-fry house. Wish they had a non grain option like cabbage shreds as a base option. It was good. Need to be back for sashimi.

I love coming here and getting “the bowl.” It’s nice being able to pick out what you want in it and how you want it cooked. They have plenty of options to pick from and it’s always been delicious. I have ordered from the menu a time or two and was pleased with that as well. It has always been clean inside.

Marginally disappointed. Came here because of reviews. Just a Ghengis Grill knock off. Non traditional! I eat all over the country and try to find hidden gems. Non traditional cuts and types of meat (sliced not shaved), non traditional sauces, abrupt owner, had to pay double for a bowl for my vegetables, service was marginal, trey for my wife’s sushi was broken. Food was tasty but not worth double.

my friend recommended this place for dinner and I was definitely impressed. I really like the style of building your own bowl of ingredients. you get to select as much meat, veggies, seasoning and sauces as you want and they throw it all together with the noodles you pick. you can even get double the regular amount of noodles for no extra cost! the server was very friendly and always stopped by to make sure we were doing good or needed anything. the food itself tasted super good, nice and hot and very fresh. we tried some California rolls too and those were very fresh as well. everything was all so good, will definitely be coming back!

Super Yummy is a fun place for a family dinner. The sushi always tastes super fresh and it's a great place if you're on a low carb diet. You can fill your make your own bowl with protein and veggies.

*Update* My first time dining in was a very pleasant experience. The food didn't disappoint. The place was quiet and casual. The service was decent. Again.. the food is just a bit over priced, but I will be back. Pretty good food. Just a bit over priced in my opinion.

The bowls are amazing, but won't always turn out well on your first try. Be careful with ingredient diversity. Everyone I know prefers adding more sauce than is recommended, especially when you order rice. The salad and soups are really good as well!

Sushi is good! The management needs work. They claim to offer a military discount but if the owner is around they won’t honor it. It’s a 30-70% chance, which is horrible, please honor the often promised hero discount. They also do not take reservations, even though we call ahead and are told we would be seated immediately, our dates are often ruined by the wait. The grill is not good with food allergies. Especially if you have a gluten sensitivity, I’ve gotten very sick here. Go with the sushi if you’re gf and make sure you don’t get tempura imitation crab or eel sauce, they don’t have gf soy sauce either, bring your own! It’s rare to get a server educated in food allergy, so be prepared for that… Overall, great sushi, questionable management.

Out of the few times I’ve been here, the food was amazing! I recommend doing the stir fry bowl, It is absolutely delicious every time. Every waiter or waiter or waitress I’ve gotten has been very friendly and professional. It’s a very clean and well put together restaurant and love going every chance I get!

The quality of the food was not bad. You just need to know how to properly season your own food. My bowl ended up being very salty because I used too much garlic salt. The beef I selected was very tender, so I was happy with that. The waitress was a bit annoying. We had not even sat down yet, and she was asking what we wanted to drink and what appetizers we wanted. I had to let her know it was my first time, and she hadn't even handed me the menu yet, so I didn't know what appetizers they had. After living in Japan for 7 years, my standards for sushi are a bit high, so I didn't even bother taking a photo. I'm convinced most people don't even know what real sushi is, so why bother. I guess the place is not bad if you keep it simple and don't over season the food and stay away from what they call sushi.

Super yummy is indeed super yummy! We will drive from Lufkin to come eat here. Fit all meats, seafood and vegetables in your bowl, add seasonings of your choice, pick either rice, noodles or tortilla! service is pretty decent, the place needs some TLC.
