Went
to
De
Gastro
on
our
last
night
in
Brugge.
We
were
not
disappointed
unlike
some
other
restaurants
which
were
more
highly
rated
but
ended
up
being
quite
average.
We
were
a
party
of
5.
The
restaurant
decor
was
inviting
and
fresh,
and
the
waiter
was
friendly
and
gave
us
a
great
table.
We
wanted
a
traditional
meal,
and
ordered
mussels,
and
the
local
beef
and
fish
stews
for
main
courses,
preceeded
by
entrée
of
Beef
Carpaccio
and
Tomato
Burrata
Salad.
All
dishes
were
tasty
and
full
of
different
flavours
that
we
throughly
enjoyed.
The
mussles
were
cooked
perfectly
in
a
garlic
and
cream
sauce
while
the
fish
stew
was
amazing
in
my
opinion.
Service
was
attentive,
fast
and
efficient.
It
wasn't
the
cheapest
restaurant.
But
if
you
are
looking
to
find
traditional
Brugge
fare
in
a
warm
environment
where
you
can
spend
quality
time
chatting
and
enjoying
good
food,
then
don't
go
past
this
place.
