Possibly the best Tacos I’ve ever tried. Food quality was great as was the portion size. The green chili sauce is excellent. Very friendly staff. Definitely a must stop if you are in Los Alamos.

El Parasol fairly regularly loses track of orders or makes the wrong item. For example, we placed an online order today that they lost. They took the order again in person after it was clear that our order wasn't coming, but they left the bacon out of my bacon breakfast burrito. Instead of bacon, I had loads of beans, a tiny bit of egg, and a tiny bit of potato. A burrito the previous week had nearly raw bacon that I had to pick out and throw away. Other times, they have just never brought my order out and it has turned out that they lost my order. They basically just seem rushed and disorganized, then somewhat lackadaisical about fixing the problems. The food is totally acceptable when they make the right thing.

Delicious vegetarian burrito, pork taco, and super fresh guacamole! I was shocked by the stuffed sopapilla. It was larger than my face yet I finished it. That’s how amazing it is!

I don't know why everyone thinks this place is so great. Their burritos have a weird smoky taste like they were made on a dirty grill, and the bacon is always overcooked and chewy. I won't even eat their breakfast burritos when they're free (boss buys breakfast annually.) Somehow their chicken tacos manage to be the greasiest food I've ever eaten while also being dry in texture. Gross. All I will be getting the next time I have to eat here with my co-workers is a Mexican Coke.

Delicious the tamales were so good and it seems home made. I demolished it so did get a picture. However the breakfast taco was great as well!!!

I was really disappointed with my visit to this location because I have been to both of the other locations and am always satisfied. The first thing that I noticed was how I was treated at the service counter, the manager helped the customer in front of me, then saw me, rolled his eyes and walked away. After that, the woman asked another male associate if he could "deal with me". His name was Miguel and he was incredibly rude to me, snatching my credit card from my hand, putting it on the counter instead of handing it back to me, and then slamming my receipt and pen for signature on the counter. The food was also incredibly bland, the chili had absolutely no flavor, and it was an extra $5 to top my burrito with said bland chili, cold lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Skip the visit here and go to the one in Pojaque instead.

The breakfast burritos are HUGE and absolutely delicious! They have a great selection but will make them how you want too. Definitely choose the red it's mouthwatering. But the greens pretty awesome too!!!

El Parasol is amazing. The food is great, the service is friendly and the prices are very affordable. Try the Frito pie with Xmas style chile. Take home a quart of posole to share with a loved one. Breakfast burritos served until 11am. Fun, community-oriented atmosphere. You'll be glad you stopped in.

Sadly the tortilla burger I got today was disgusting. Mostly lettuce and very sloppy no seasoning or flavor on the meat and also very greasy. I couldn’t finish it due to the mess and for 16 bucks with no drink I think I was better off going to McDonald’s or Sonic for a decent burger at a fair price.

Decent Mexican place. Had burritos 🌯 for quick lunch. Their hit sauce is pretty good and spicy. Check it out :)

I miss eating chicken tacos. Must try for sure when ever in this beautiful part of New Mexico.

Best tacos in town! Better bring your big wallet though because these tacos might cost you a second mortgage!

Incredible Mexican food — vegetarian options are outstanding. Salsa is spicy and delicious. Right next to the Manhattan Project visitors center. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. It's a very clean place too. I had the Carne Adovada burrito smothered in green chile. It was the best one I have ever eaten. Unbelievably good!

No table service. All food served in Styrofoam take-out containers. Food was tasty, though. The Green Chile Stew was especially delicious!

A great restaurant in Los Alamos. This restaurant is located at 1903 Central Ave, Los Alamos, in the heart of downtown Los Alamos. It is close to many other shops, restaurants and a very nice park. There is free parking available in the lot behind the restaurant. The lot is small, but there is usually enough parking available as I was able to find a space every time I have visited. The inside is decorated in a traditional Mexican style. The walls are adorned with colorful murals, and the tables are covered with red and white checkered tablecloths. The chairs are large, wooden affairs that are well-worn but look good and are comfortable. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. You order at the counter and they call your name for pick up. The menu items are traditional Mexican food that includes a variety of dishes, such as tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas. The food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very pleasant. I am told that the restaurant has a full bar, which serves a variety of Mexican beers and cocktails but I did not try anything from that part of the menu. Please be aware that they have limited hours and may be closed “early” for people visiting from other cities. Please check their hours and if they are going to be open when you arrive. I definitely recommend this to my fellow travelers for a good meal. Enjoy.

Bernardo and Alejandra were amazing! The staff stayed open to serve and seat a team of 30 and parents a whole hour after closing! We got great food and awesome service! Thank you so much

Good food!! It can take a little while to get your order, especially when it's busy, but it's worth the wait. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean tables and restrooms. This place always has people and a great atmosphere! There is a drive thru as well!

Friendly staff and great New Mexican. The tacos and tamales are delicious. Great burritos for breakfast or lunch / dinner as well. Highly recommend. Just don't show up right at noon because there is usually a line!

Very good food. The red chile was really hot but was good! Definitely a place I would visit again or I would recommend!

This restaurant is pretty wheelchair accessible. Wide sidewalk and doors, no stairs, and the staff were helpful. I stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed the combo.

Worst “Mexican” food I’ve ever had. Lady taking our order named Mayra was very rude and got upset because I couldn’t hear what she was saying to me. I asked for a cup for ice and water she gave me a bottle of water which I refused. She finally gave me a cup I filled up my cup with “water” only to find out it was soda water not regular. I walked outside and my boyfriend stayed inside waiting for our order. He heard the lady and the man in the counter talking about me calling me names so he called them out, and of course they denied everything. I don’t recommend this rude place to anyone. Spend your coins somewhere else!

First time visiting this location and I want a burrito with beans green Chile and guacamole. Which is what I thought I was ordering because I get the same burrito at the other locations. What I got was a vegetarian burrito with mushy potato broccoli carrots mix beans and a very small amount of green Chile and no guacamole! I guess the burrito was kind of OK but they were getting ready to close and the place smelled like a chemical factory of cleaning supplies which was not a pleasant environment to eat in. Maybe I’ll give them another chance.

Great authentic new Mexico cuisine. Well balanced chili heat and flavor. Unfortunately my smothered burrito wasn't heated, due to still being served in a take out box.

Amazing beefy flavorful Green Chili stew, and king sized burritos!! The green chili stew was out of this world. It had a nice medium hot chili. Not too hot, but had a nice "bite".

First timer here! A bunch of people in town told me I had to check it out, so I did. I’ll be honest, having lived in Mexico for years I definitely am a bit picky with my tacos. The food here was okay. It wasn’t anything to die for but I’d come back again. The staff were friendly, the establishment was nice and clean, and the food came out quick. Overall, not too bad.

The food is ALWAYS good here, but they really rose to the occasion during the pandemic. We've been picking up frozen green chile chicken enchilada casseroles and they are just SUPERB.

We had burgers and fries and they were delicious! The food came out very quickly for as busy as they were and the burgers were cooked to perfection. The staff were very nice too. I would eat there again!

Good nachos. Decent burrito. Didn't get the fries I ordered. I should have checked before leaving. That's on me. Long wait.

NOT GOOD, don't waste your money. Came here on vaca for the balloon Fiesta, girl taking orders was rude as hell but super friendly to her co workers. The workers continued to talk while my food sat on the counter for far too long - thought the last container put on the counter was ours and that was why but turns out it was for someone else's order and they just couldn't be bothered to DO THEIR JOB. Food was sloppy and quite gross. Don't do it to yaself!

Good and fast Southwest fare. I had the Burrito with Red Chile and it was well done. Small bag of chips made for an excellent meal.

I usually go for the carne guisada burrito but got the Frito pie instead. Really good, definitely going to get that again.
