This is a great trail for all ages. I took the little kids 4 and 6 along with their grandparents and it was a beautiful hike. We only did a little more than a half mile out but between the stream and views everyone had a great time. Perfect spots for picnics and the little ones to splash and play in the stream. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful trail. The first 1.7 miles is easy. Then you either have to hike through water or up though the hills. The hill option is hard but very peaceful and scenic. I would like to hike through the slot canyon so I’ll be back when it is warmer.

Limited parking and no restroom facilities but otherwise this is a spectacular hike among beautiful cliffs and towering trees. The hiking is relatively easy the trail is about 20-25 minutes away from the town of Jemez Springs

Just love this area, if you make the 2 mile hike to the water filled canyon, you are rewarded with a nice cool dip and relaxing atmosphere. You can walk further down the canyon, if you bring water shoes. I don't suggest walking bare foot, some of the rocks on the bottom have sharp edges.

Las conchas was an amazing trail, very easy to walk, the river makes this hike amazing, most of the trail is flat so anyone can do it and you can return at any point. We took 2 hours because we were contemplating everything haha. Perfect for rock climbers, i saw people fishing as well. The only one issue is that there dont have any public restrooms so be aware.

This is such an awesome place for all people of all fitness levels. Trail is a little rocky in places but overall 99% flat. Lots of meadows and flowers, follows a creek, really just wonderful. It also connects to longer more difficult trails (see all trails app). Lots of families with small kids, adult couples/singles, few groups of teenagers, rock climbers, lots of places to stop and picnic or fish. Overall a splendid place to spend an afternoon or whole day. Also pack sunscreen since there are some fairly sunny areas, enough that if you burn easily you'll want some with you, and a good ride brimmed hat. Oh and lots of dogs, they should be leashesd but many people let their dogs go without one. No bathroom facilities or picnic tables so plan accordingly. Parking can seem wild, but even when it's crowded, it's doable. 😎

Really beautiful and easy hike. There are stairs and some places with slight elevation increases and tree roots to go over, plus some bridges to step up onto. People with significant mobility issues would struggle but overall is a good all ages trail. It's really beautiful in summer and fall especially. If the main parking lot is full there's room along the road. No restrooms or picnic tables but both are plentiful in other areas on the road up. And there are plenty of places to picnic on the ground and play in the water. Most people had their dogs off leash which was a concern for us, but we were able to avoid them for the most part. We probably wouldn't bring our dog again for this reason, which is unfortunate because this is a great trail for a dog.
