Nice atmosphere😍 with a good coffee!

Conveniently located if you are in downtown MV. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Inside smells musty at best, and tabletops are not cleaned. Do know there is a steady stream of non-service dogs allowed indoors at this location. (Due to hygiene most stores don't allow animals inside food establishments.) Coffee varies greatly as does the temperature of their water for tea. Have had decent cappucinos at 3 pm, to very bitter, burning hot cappucinos, at 10 am. If employees cleaned the floors and tables from time to time, this could be a nice community hang-out.

Friendly staff and great coffee! I love the cold brew and seasonal drinks. Oat milk cold foam is amazing. Getting beans in store is great too. Hand sanitizer available in multiple places which is very useful. Tables spaced out for social distancing as well as tables outside.

They have homeless people camping inside that will start bothering you or act weird occasionally. Staff and service are good. Location is prefect

Mountain View Castro Street Peet's has the BEST water! Must be hetch hetchy with 31pps, So any drinks here do Taste Better! Best!!

Love this Peet's location in downtown Mountain View. Aside from the great people who work here and make you feel welcome, the space itself is very open and airy and inviting. You have room to enjoy your coffee with either your laptop or with friends.

The lady at the cashier was extremely rude to me. She charged me twice for a cup of coffee, even after giving me a receipt for the first one. :( On top of that, she refused to give me any sugar, napkins, stirrer that I asked for. I had my mask on, and I know for sure I didn’t do anything to trigger her. Not only this, she was rude to her co-workers and passing snide remarks on them. I could hear this from outside. She also refused service to another lady who came right after me. She even commented rudely on that lady after the lady left. This is utterly unprofessional behavior. There was another server at the counter who was very polite and helped me to get the sugar and stirrer.

This store is at a very convenient location from my standpoint. Staff is friendly and offer several coffee options. They do strictly enforce mask wearing mandate (while inside) which is great. The black coffee on ice was nice. They do have outside seating also which offers great view.

Lots of outdoor seating with good WiFi in a quite neighborhood.

The chicken chorizo wrap seemed particularly good at this one. Also the employees are nice.

The black iced tea tasted old and sour. Blech! But I have had good hot tea here in the past.

Large, airy Peets. Superb coffees, baked goods and service. Tables both outside and inside. Accessible bathroom.

Mmm, Peets coffee in general is pretty good and this location upholds that standard. Recommended for coffee drinkers and those who enjoy fruit-tea blends.

Glad to see plantbased/vegan options for snacks, including a plantbased chocolate brownie and two different kinds of sandwiches. Peets is also my go-to spot for a nice oat milk matcha which they can make unsweetened (not an option at Starbucks). This location of Peets is quite pleasant to spend time in with plenty of seating, just the right level of ambient noise and nice views of Castro.

It's going to be tasty especially when you're coming home and walking around in the dark out side definitely depends upon how like it made according to your taste in the winter time.

Nice place to sit and have your coffee and read a complementary newspaper. It was a ittle busy on a Thursday morning around 8AM. Ordering ahead by 10 minutes would have been a good idea

Great coffee shop in the heart of Mountain View with nice and unique drinks. I enjoy their golden turmeric options a lot. The environment is nice and new. Their whole bean section is pretty big with several roasts to choose from.

Enjoy going to this location whenever I get the chance. Friendly service.

10/5/22 - visited this location after 2 years and absolutely loved Noelle's help in selecting the beans to brew coffee at home. Think I am going to stop by this location more often! Peet's has great beans everywhere, just that Noelle works at this location! ------ Peet's Havana Cappuccino tastes awesome if prepared right - some Barista's do it really well, others do an average job of preparing it. I loved it at their location by El Camino and Castro, but the one in downtown Castro just tasted average.

A busy staff team behind the counter and yet they hurried to satisfy the line of waiting customers.... Truly the coffee shop atmosphere.... 👍👍

This became my favorite spot while waiting for my kido to finish hi martial arts class. Great people, great coffee.

Easily the most beautiful Peet’s in the area with a gorgeous patio/view of Castro Street to match. Toni and Chelsea both went so far beyond expectations to help me find a solution to take my little succulent from the Art Walk home without letting in topple in my bike bag. I felt so valued and welcome to that I wish you could just copy and paste them to every other Peet’s location. You guys are gems. And the coffee was great, too!
